Fun fact I'm gonna explain the romance quadraints in Homestuck to you because it's actually a really funky way to label relationships. Ok ok so this

The the quadrant model. Red is usually positive relationships while Black is usually negative. Each symbol corresponds to a different type of relationship. Heart is Matespritship, and the best way to describe it is plain old romantic love. When referring to someone in the relationship with you it would be your matesprit. Since this is a Troll romance model it's usually based more on pity then anything. Diamond is Moirallegance, and it's pretty close to a Queerplatonic relationship, and what that fully entails is mostly up to the people in the relationship but it is a type of romance! It's more like...friends but with a dash of something else. For this relationship you would reffer to the other person would be your moirail! Spades is Kismesis (kiz-mesis), which is pretty much "I hate you so much I want you to live JUST so I can bully you you aren't the bane of my existence you are worse but I am too emotionally connected to you to kill you. Die." You would call the other person your kismesis (Kiz-meh-sees). Clubs is auspiceship, which is when one person stops two people from doing any damage to each other. Usually the two people are NOT kismesis but the auspice usually has a form of moiraligence with the two.

Draco finally spoke up, “do you wanna talk about it?” 

“Not particularly,” Harry answered softly, twisting his fingers through the silky strands, before bending and giving Draco a kiss on the forehead. 

“Alright,” he traced the stars in his mind, forming constellations as they laid there. The darkness of the night cool, the quiet a comfort. 

“I didn’t ask how your day went, I’m sorry.” Harry said after a beat, realizing he had been so consumed with his day he hadn’t asked Draco about his own. 

“Ah,” Draco smiled, “same ‘ole, same ‘ole, I suppose. Plenty of you idiots protecting our world to keep me busy.” 

Harry chuckled, “true.” 

“And, coincidentally I happen to be engaged to the biggest idiot of them all.” Draco teased, playfully. 

Harry smiled to himself, “that is a true statement as well.” 

Draco reached up and grabbed his hand from his hair, pulling it in front of him and pressing his lips to the back of his hand. “Potter, I need you to be careful, do you realize that?” 

“I do,” Harry answered immediately. “It wasn’t like I wasn’t careful, Draco.”

Mimir considers a lot of people as her friends but the closest person for her in her life is her big brother Kiz. He always cared for her and provided for her so they both had roof and food. Sometimes he might be too much, too protective or suspicious of others but Mimir doesn't blame him for that as it comes from him being scared of losing the only remaining family member he has.

Out of the whole party, except for Woljif, Mimir has very close relationship with Ember and Seelah, I suppose!

As I said, Mimir considers a lot of people as her friends, that includes Regill. She trusts him and relies on his advice throughout the crusade a lot.

Is your OC able to love without necessarily needing or expecting reciprocation or reward? Or are all their relationships to some extent transactional? Have they ever loved another person unconditionally, whether a child or another adult?

Mimir is not the person to wait for some reward in relationship. It's the opposite, she's ready to give everything but receive nothing. This is one of the reasons Kiz is so worried about her when it comes to relationship with Woljif as he is afraid that Woljif might use her for his own ego.

Mimir definitely had crushes before Woljif but it never went too far. I think they all were those childish innocent crushes, whether it be on another kid or a teen (because they're so cool and will have to marry me when I'm older!)

i think i went rly hard in august. august was really a turning point for me this year too i think, so maybe my art reflected that haha, but anyhow. i really love these

everyone and their mom has done a religious jakurai art, but i wanted to do one too... the detail i rly like is the blood on his hands. because i like to headcanon that jakurai has vitiligo on his hands. i like how i incorporated that hc in this without making it too busy lol

anyways this is my pngtuber. they have no name, but she's a shopkeeper of a mysterious antique store. originally that doll on the bookshelf was gonna my pngtuber and i came up with a bunch of lore for her, but then i realized i had another oc design i really dig and was also simpler, so i revamped that for streaming FJKSDJKF but i would like to put that doll to use somehow or another. anyways if u can pinpoint all the references on the shopkeeper and their bookshelf and even her store's very existence, i love u --

I'VE BEEN MEANING TO DO AN IBERIA AU FOR JAKUDO FOR SO LONG... probably as long as the koibito AU for hifugen, but i just haven't been able to put it into words... i'm glad i could at least do a bit of this year, and i hope one day i can manage the whole concept!! also this idea's been in my head for so long that arb managed to reveal demon designs for both jakurai and doppo, sparing me the effort of designing them myself FSJKJKKJH

wah... i think my artist wrapped really covers what i have to say! quantity-wise, i'm not too happy with how much i made... it can't really be helped considering how busy and tiresome it's been this year, and i really wish i could say i can do more next year, but it's likely i'll be posting less and less in the future TwT but as much as possible, i'd still like to share my work! i think this might be my time to start focusing on original stuff, but i still wanna do fandom related stuff because there's still a lot of ideas and concepts i wanna see realized!! also i just love my fandom blorbos a lot lol, so i'll find ways to do things for them >w<

quality-wise though, i think i'm pretty pleased! last year i got csp, so i was still figuring it out, but now i think i got a better hang of it! and that means my art looks more confident i think haha. of course, there's still a lot of room for improvement, but it's nice that i can look at my stuff and go "yeah i like this!" i'm excited to see where my artistic journey goes from here!!

but yeah, maybe it wasn't a plentiful year for me re: art, but i made some pretty nice stuff despite that! thank you all for the support, and here's to next year!!

I think sometimes - and I am generalizing here, with me as a starting point, I am aware of that - people dislike things or have averse reactions because of trauma. Yes it can be just down to taste, and sometimes also malicious prejudice. But sometimes a bias is there because of deep-rooted trauma. Not an excuse to not examine your biases, but it's an explanation and I wish people would listen instead of calling me a fragile white nerd or smth.

My personal experiences with this are my dislike for certain subcultures and music artists because my middle school bullies dressed and behaved like that. From a logical standpoint I know that they (the current artists) carry no maliciousness in them and are completely harmless, but it's everything about them that immediately reminds me of the things my bullies liked in pop culture in the 2010s, and how the general culture aroudn those was so toxic. One rap crew from that time is KIZ. I know they're cool and all and I even LIKE some of their stuff. But I still have a hard time listening to them as it takes me straight back to that time when those assholes at my school weaponized culture like that to draw a divide between cool and uncool, and even used pop culture references to bully me & others. When I say I don't listen to a lot of rap it's literally a trauma response for me and I hate how people frame this as 'ah white people being racist' - also when it's literally white rap artists I mostly don't listen to, so wtf. It has a very negative association for me in a lot of cases, and it's not the fault of any artists whatsoever.
