sometimes the cooking in ootp seems like coping to me but at the same time I don't want to think too much about everything so I love the baker/chef sirius. in a universe where he enjoys baking, he definitely enjoys baking with his grandchildren. it's their favorite activity cause sirius let's them have the weirdest combinations of flavors.

eyeballs ingredients while cooking but precise when baking! he let's the kids do the frosting ofc, nothing is too silly here. will they have classic flour fights? sirius letting lily get away with eating the icing while he told off james just a few moments ago. albus is too focused on getting the shape he wants out of the piping bag. Harry leaning against the door, secretly wanting to join in and then being prodded into mixing the batter under sirius' instructions like hes brewing a potion. (we have to sneak in harry&sirius baking in here, sorry)

I think he likes it a lot :")

I ate a decent supper, I had sugar in my coffee, I didn't take any rapid insulin, and I had 2 lollipops. Why the hell am I still having low glucose alarms?

Now what? I have no more food. I have a glucagon inhaler but you're supposed to call rescue after using it and I really don't want to do that. I suppose I'll have to call anyway if I drop too low or risk blacking out again.

I'm sick of being sick, and Poor Me is literal.

The way some of y’all talk about alternative recipes for shit (like the post I just saw getting mad at someone asking for a sugar free alternative) it’s just like….do y’all not know diabetics exist….

Like I get being tired of diet culture or whatever but I genuinely wonder sometimes if y’all forget there’s people with dietary restrictions for medical reasons lmao
