Frustrating conversations with my mother

I'm trying to talk to my mom about me moving back down south and this is the conversation Me: "well when I move back down there -" Mom: "I can't even think about that it's just so.....I just hate thinking about it" "Okay....but anyway when I move back down there and get a job, I was thinking I'd just look into buying a house because -" "You wouldn't make what you're making up here" "I really don't give a fuck and you need to stop saying that. Anyway it would be more beneficial if I were paying a mortgage instead of rent because -" "Would you really even be able to afford a house though if you weren't making as much?"
