i feel like one of the most immediate things people seem to consistently pick up on with palm is that he doesn’t know how to lie - but here he is, keeping nueng’s building a secret from his own father, and chanon just believes it without question.

palm’s absent mother, who did not even know what he looked like, could tell he was lying to her immediately. nueng took literally one look at palm and sussed that he was a bodyguard. chanon just… at no point is he really paying attention to palm.

and so, chanon continues to be top contender for the worst father of the year award 2023. huge congratulations to that one man who shot him.

Thinking about that series on TikTok where canon batfamily characters meet their fanon counterparts and I think all canon characters would have a sort of disdain to borderline hate for their fanon versions EXCEPT BRUCE. Canon Bruce would be seething with jealousy

I think people sometimes misunderstand why we come up with such elaborate justifications for shipping two characters together. I don't justify my ships because I feel that I need to; I justify my ships because squinting at the published canon with furrowed brow and asking myself "okay, how exactly would this work?" is my idea of a good time.

I have so many ideas over it but my fav is currently that the Jasons are brothers because of the quick switch between seasons/robins and how they couldn’t use the same actor for older Jason so they just asked his older brother to be Red Hood Jason, Little Jason is way younger because they were trying to emphasize how small street kid Jason was
