Hiii would like to request a fic from your promt list with the combination 544 (leehan+bestfriends to lovers+“I knew it would be you from the start“)
Don’t stress to do it,thank you pookie!!<333
LOVE YOU LIKE A FOOL
pairing; leehan x fem! reader synopsis; first breakups are hard, but do you know what's harder? admitting that maybe it was always him after all. wc; 1k+ warnings; domestic leehan, break ups (angst involved), fluff at the end, comfort fic :) lmk if i missed sth author's note; hello! thank you for requesting <3 i hope this was satisfactory:) i like writing for leehan js because hes just a book boyfriend HAHA
- its your first break up. and yes, maybe two months have passed since it happened. but firsts are always the ones that hurt the most, because you feel the emotion for the first time, and its almost stranger-like, amplified to make you feel worse, as if you're the problem.
you're currently stuck in your bedroom, music blasting from the speaker on your bedside table, as guilt took over you. why'd i even bring it up again? you wanted to cry but you knew you shouldn't. because the guy you dated, was a jerk.
"she's like a backup plan, if yijin doesn't work out, it's definitely gonna be y/n. she's simple to persuade, and you know what they say about first loves .."
"he's a jerk. and you're okay. you're hot, you're sexy! you got this y/n! don't cry!", you repeated like a mantra, mostly because you hated how bad it felt afterwards. the way your eyelids would get all sticky, and the way your face would puff up, you hated all of it. you hated him.
at times like these, you'd look up at only one person, leehan, who made you feel like a princess, every moment you spent with him. but he wasn't yours. you two were best friends since time immemorial and he understood you inside out. he knew your deepest darkest secret; how you got your first period to how you ended up with your first boyfriend. he helped you get over your break up, but those words still pierced you bad sometimes. it felt like a stab to your heart, honestly.
just when you were contemplating on your messed up love life, your phone started ringing.
it was leehan. it was almost like you two were telepathically connected because he always seemed to call you at times when you're feeling the most— be it happy, or sad.
"hey y/n. i called because something didn't feel right, are you okay?", you could hear leehan's concern in the way he talked, and were kind of surprised at his instincts. but you replied, none the less.
"hey hannie, i'm doing great! it's just that i caught a cold, nothing less or more.", you replied, your blocked nose being evidence that you were going through something.
"do you want me to come over? i'll look after, i'm free today..", he asked, and gosh, you could almost see the way his lips would form a pout, giving a look of concern, as he inquired.
how could one say no to such an offer? you agreed in a heartbeat and got up to fresh up and make your home presentable before leehan arrived.
-
"i made you soup, it's gonna help immensely with your throat, y/n-ie.", leehan smiled, as he placed the soup on the table, carefully putting out the bowl and soup spoons. he rubbed his hands with a towel, removing his apron, as he sat down in front of you.
you hummed and smiled in gratitude, as you poured yourself some.
"you know you didn't have to do this, i know how time consuming it can be..", you trailed off, digging right in the soup.
but leehan simply smiled again, his eyes forming the same crescent moons which released a million butterflies in your stomach, even though you didn't know why.
"you're special to me, and friends always look out for each other. it's like an unspoken rule!"
-
in the evening, both of you decided to just watch a film, because a day of leisure, is nothing without movies. however, the movie just had to be about a girl's first love and break up. and you know what it did? it brought your big girl emotions, and in less than an hour into the movie, your eyes welled up with tears. when people say they resonate with characters in particular films, maybe this is what they meant.
leehan was petrified, because, you began crying out of the blue. the same time as the female lead. but he wasn't dumb, so he instantly wrapped his arms around your shoulders, pulling you close.
"he didn't deserve you. you know that right?"
"or maybe i just wasn't enough.", you said, your voice laced with blatant guilt.
leehan sighed, his look softening, as he turned your body towards him. he couldn't hold it in anymore. the thing about leehan was that, he was patient about everything—even his liking for you. when you got with your boyfriend last summer, he hurt a lot. but as long as you were happy, he was okay with it. but after what he did to you, he regretted not telling you sooner; how much he wanted to be the one to take you out on dates, tell you how much you meant to him, how much he loved you.
"everything about you is perfect, he just didn't understand that. you can ask me about you, and i could list endless reasons for which i love you."
all that escaped his lips felt like a storm to you. but the storm felt comforting for some reason. you were confused, but why did it make your stomach feel fuzzy again?
you stared at him, like he broke you with what he said.
"do you really mean it?"
"i mean every word of it, y/n. it hurt like a bitch when you got together with him, when he didn't treat you right."
"i love you like a fool. i've been waiting for so long to tell you this, i was patient, but seeing you cry like this, hurts me."
due to your lack of response, leehan turned his head aside, preparing to leave, but you pulled him closer, faces inches apart, as you said,
"i knew it would be you from the start. i love you too, hannie."
you closed the gap, as he returned the kiss in a heartbeat. you could feel the weight from your shoulders escape, as he cupped your cheek, to deepen the kiss.
he whispered sweet nothings in the meantime, caressing your cheeks, as you ran your fingers through his hair.
maybe those butterflies were signs that he would be the one.
-
(bonus)
"when you said you had endless reasons for liking me; is it enough to write a book?"
you asked, fiddling with his fingers, as both of you cuddled up on the bed, with leehan wrapping his arms round your waist.
leehan chuckled, replying, "do you want me to, love?"
"i'd rather listen to you talk, i never liked reading novels anyway."
you said, placing a soft kiss on his fingers.

Marooned: Chapter 11
Kid x FemReader x Killer
Warnings: NSFW, Smut
First (Consum)Mate
You knew it was a dream because the setting kept changing. One second you were in the sun of the island and the next you were in the dark of Kid's cabin. The constant was that you were on top of Killer, who was filling your ear with praise, your face shoved into his neck trying to muffle your sounds while Kid had a vice grip on your hips, yanking you back to meet his thrusts.
Kid had dismissed Wire and Heat a while ago. He leaned against the wall, still pissed off. The captain had dragged Synth down to the brig to take his anger out on him, but damn you, you had already knocked him out. The fun part was listening to them beg or cry or scream and the piece of shit was dead silent. Kid was kicking himself for allowing a guest on his ship to get attacked. He had a reputation to uphold. The only person that was to be feared on this ship was him and only him, and sometimes Killer. Killer. When are ya going to come back ta us? Kid tried to focus his mind elsewhere by watching your back rise and fall. Every so often your breathing would change slightly. The longer he watched, he noticed sounds other than your breaths and small twitches periodically. He thought you might be having a nightmare. Kid contemplated whether or not to wake you up. He walked over to you and was about to shake your shoulder, but snatched his hand back when he saw the way you clutched at the sheets of the gurney. Those were notwhimpers of fright. His face went as red as his hair. It felt wrong to be privy to the sweet intimate murmurs coming from your mouth, especially since he knew you would loathe him for it, which is maybe why it turned him on so much. Kid knew he was a big pervert and was not ashamed of it. He was banned from walking the halls next to the women's quarters after dark for being caught with his ear against the door to the showers too many times. His ears perked up. Did she just...? He swore he heard you say his name. He didn't get a chance to listen for it again, unfortunately, as you started to wake up.
Why do I always wake up at the best parts? You groaned and stretched. "Man, I was about to cum, too," you mumbled. If you had only seen Kid's face as you said it. You looked around for Heat and noticed Kid right next to you, nearly slipping out of your skin with embarrassment. Should you assume he didn't hear it or should you try to cover it up? Or the secret third option: yell at him. "WHY ARE YOU WATCHING ME SLEEP, YOU FUCK?" You kind of forgot that you thought he was going to skin you a few hours ago. Maybe you shouldn't have yelled at him.
Kid grinned. "And wake ya up? When ya were having such a lovely dream?" He noticed for the first time that you were wearing an old shirt of Killer's. As if that wasn't enough to drive him insane with lust, it was bunched up, revealing your leg up to the hip. He was practically salivating, "Ya need any help with the ending?"
You were confused. Earlier you thought he would be livid with you, yet here he was being a rabid horndog. "First of all, aren't you mad at me? And really? I'm..." you looked down at the various bandages and bruises. "I'm a fucking mess." You gestured to your face. "My fucking eye is gone."
"The only reason I'm mad at ya is that ya didn't leave anything for me." He dug in his pocket for something, producing your log pose eye. You grabbed at it, but he pulled it away. "Still...pretty fuckin hot ta watch ya beat the shit outta him. Wish I saw the whole thing." He held your eye just out of your reach. Your leg fucking ached but you jumped for it. Kid leered at you, as every jump made your tits and thighs jiggle. You managed to catch his wrist. Reflexively, to get higher, you grabbed onto him like you were going to climb a tree, legs wrapped around his waist and your other hand buried in the feathers of his coat. In your determination to get your log pose back, it didn't occur to you the compromising nature of the position. You only realized that when you felt a cold, metal arm support your bare ass. "How bout we make another deal?" He set you on the edge of Killer's stretcher, placing himself between your knees. His dick was getting hard under your cold glare already, and the fact he could see that you had nothing on under your shirt didn't make it any less hard. Kid was initially going to trade your log pose back for a quick fuck, but your glare gave him an absolutely sinister idea. "I'll give this back... when ya earn it back." Kid rolled it around in his palm, licking his lips, and shoved it back in his pocket.
Something about the way he said it made you shift uncomfortably, not because you didn't like it, but just the opposite. It gave you goosebumps. It made your skin hot. It pissed you off how much you liked when he was mean to you. You wanted to press your knees together but Kid stood in the way. "Sounds like I don't have a choice."
"Ya don't," Kid put his hands on your knees and slid them up your thighs, gripping your ass and scooting you closer to the edge. His flesh hand dipped into your core, eliciting a groan from you. "All this just from dreamin about me?" He slipped another finger in, slowly testing what you responded to.
"Nndon't flatter yourself. Just haven't... in a long time." Your forehead was resting against Kid's lower chest as you tried to avoid feeding his ego. Metal moved your hand to touch him through his pants. You were glad he couldn't see the brief second where your eyes widened. Kid was well-endowed, you already knew that from the encounter on the island. It was different now that it was right in front of you, heavy in your hand as you stroked him over the fabric. You looked up into smoldering orange eyes, feeling small for once. "What about... uh..." Your eyes moved to Killer.
"Hah? Get used it. Killer likes ta join in." Kid stopped moving his fingers and laughed. "I knew ya were Rotten." Kid withdrew his fingers, and licked them clean. He leaned down to bite your neck, trailing up to your ear. "Ya got so wet when I mentioned Killer. I think ya want him to watch." Kid hungrily kissed you, tongue running over your split lip and tasting blood. He moved your hand out of the way to unbuckle his belts and tugged his pants down just far enough to release his cock from its confines. "I bet ya were dreamin of the two of us splittin ya in two, weren't ya?" Kid grinned as he pressed against your entrance.
You could have guessed Kid was big into dirty talk. "Do you ever shut u-?" You knew exactly what you were doing by taunting him and still sucked in air as he pushed his length into you. The burning stretch of your pussy around him made you forget whatever jab you were going to throw, instead the only thing coming from your mouth was a drawn out moan that he captured in a kiss. Already, you felt the tightening knot in your lower belly. Your arms went around his neck, with your fingers gripping his red locks, and your legs tightened around his waist.
He devoured every delicious whine, every little moan, sliding his tongue against yours. Your gummy walls felt so good squeezing his dick. He figured you would be tight, especially if you hadn't fucked in a while, but this was better than he imagined. His hands pushed your shirt further up, metal hand steadying your hips and flesh hand kneading your tits, just as soft and warm as he wanted them to be. It pleased him that you had tits big enough to take up his entire hand. Kid wanted so badly to flip you over and rail you from behind. That wasn't feasible in this space and neither was fucking into you at his normal blistering pace. He had to tone it down or the three of you would end up on the floor.
One of your hands dropped to play with your clit as every thrust brought you closer to your climax. "Keep nnngoing, Cap-nn," you groaned. Kid's response was a grunt and to fuck you harder, his own words lost as he also approached his high. One last bump to your cervix had you unravelling, seeing stars. You pushed your face into Kid's shoulder to muffle your loud cries of pleasure, but Kid pulled your hair, forcing you to spill them to the world. When he did that, your head was turned ever so slightly, yet enough to see Killer sitting up on his elbows with wide crystalline-blue eyes. "K-iller!" You shrieked.
Kid's mind was clouded with the pursuit of his own release, still pumping his hips in you. "I know ya didn't just say his name insteada mine," he panted between thrusts. He was too bewitched by pussy to be mad. You were completely frozen as Kid bent over you with a grunt, finally reaching his end. He saw you looking away from him. "What's yer deal, doll?" His hand was about to turn you to face him when his best friend's voice stopped him completely.
"What the fuck, Kid?"

Fear Of The Known
Lucifer x Fem!Angel!Reader
|Chapter Seventeen|
Y/n was lead to Lucifer's tower, a new addition to the newly renovated hotel, he did say he was moving in, after all. Charlie thanked her once more before saying goodbye, and leaving her outside of Lucifer's room.
Y/n stared at the door for a moment before she started to pace back and forth, contemplating whether or not to just portal back to Heaven, and be done with this, like she had originally planned.
This was a horrible idea, it was from the very moment she stepped foot in Hell. She had gotten herself so deep into this whole mess, that she had no way of finding a way out and staying out.
'You know you're wrong for this.' Y/n mentally scolded herself. 'You are going to get caught, and you are going to get yourself into a lot of trouble, just like Lute said.' She stopped her pacing for a brief moment, thinking back to her last 'conversation' with Lute.
Y/n shook her head with a sigh, before pacing again. 'Just leave. It's that simple. Surely Charlie will understand why you can't stay. Avoid a worse mess than you've already created, avoid getting yourself into trouble, and just go home-'
"Y/n?"
Y/n gasped sharply, her head turning to look at Lucifer, who stood in the doorway with a confused expression. "What are you doing here?"
Y/n opened her mouth to answer, but couldn't find any excuse to explain herself. So, she just gave a little shrug. Lucifer sighed lightly, before motioning for her to follow him inside. Y/n trailed after Lucifer, he shut the door behind her, and the two stood in silence.
Y/n stole a few glances at Lucifer, he tapped his finger rhythmically against his pant leg, eyes looking everywhere but at her.
"I thought you couldn't come back again." Lucifer broke the silence. "I can't." Y/n responded.
"Then, why are you here?"
"Well, I had to give Charlie a little heads up. She's going to having another meeting with Heaven soon, to discuss the hotel. I wanted to make sure she was ready. I do believe this time, she'll be meeting with Emily." Y/n lied. "She was the first in Heaven to believe in Charlie's cause, it's not surprising she wanted to speak with Charlie again."
"I see. And what about Sera? She was the one who authorized the exterminations, on Heaven's side." Lucifer asks. "Sera is still head Seraphim, however, due to her actions she is under heavy supervision from her superiors. She can hardly get a moment where she is alone, there are eyes on her always."
Lucifer only hums at that. "Had I known agreeing to allow the exterminations would have caused this much trouble..."
Y/n furrows her brows slightly. "Yes, about that, I've been meaning to ask. Why did you allow for it to happen?"
Lucifer sighs before explaining. "I wasn't too pleased with the way my gift was being used by humans. Used for their own sick and twisted ways. It felt as if everything I fought so hard for, was all for nothing. A complete total waste. So, it was safe to say I was left a little bitter towards them all."
Y/n wasn't thrilled by that answer. She could understand his anger, Lucifer wanted this so bad, he lost everything, only for it all to backfire. But the slaughter, was a step too far. Those souls were doomed to suffer for all eternity, killing them a second time was only further insult to injury. It wasn't right.
"Then, Charlie opened my eyes." Lucifer continued. "Even down here, surrounded by the worst the world has to offer, Charlie remained kind hearted. If she can see the good in those sinners, then maybe there is more to them than I realize."
Y/n smiled slightly. "Well, just as long as you aren't planning on doing something like that again." Lucifer chuckles. "No, no. Could you imagine? Charlie would kill me."
"And I'd help her." Y/n teases. "Do you know how much convincing I had to do just to have God and his council even consider calling off those damn exterminations? It wasn't easy, mind you."
"You don't have to tell me." Said Lucifer. "They're all stubborn, annoyingly so. I never thought for a moment, they'd ever change." He shakes his head. "So, is that all you're here for then?"
Y/n fell silent. Lucifer glances away from her. "I know coming down here is a big risk for you. I'd hate to think about what might happen to you, if those assholes upstairs ever found out...You should go ba-"
"Lucifer. You'd never do anything to...harm your health in any way, would you?" Y/n was very hesitant to ask, but she could tell. Just by looking at Lucifer now, and from how Charlie would talk about him. Even when Lucifer told her about how his life began to fall apart after his wife left.
She could tell, he still felt how he did back then, when this whole mess started.
Lucifer gave her a confused look, just for a brief moment, before his expression twisted into one of unease and uncertainty. "I see." He turned away from her. "Charlie sent you here."
"Lucifer-"
"As much as I appreciate the concern, I can take care of myself just fine."
"Can you?" The words came out faster than Y/n's mind could process. She regretted them as Lucifer grew quiet. She sighed, and carefully chose her words as she continued.
"Your daughter is worried, Lucifer. It's not like she thinks you're some child, who needs to be monitored. And really, it doesn't matter if you were a child or as old as the cosmos. Your health, mental and physical, matters deeply to her. And to me. And it should matter for yourself, most of all."
"Y/n, you're not telling me anything I don't already know." Lucifer's tone was firm, slightly agitated.
"Then, you're taking proper care of yourself? Taking the right steps, to prevent that from ever happening again?" Y/n asks. "If so, then I'm sure Charlie was just a bit paranoid, sensing any kind of change in you, even if small. Though, I can understand. This kind of thing, it's scary."
"You have no idea..." Lucifer mumbles. "I do actually. Maybe not exactly like what you're dealing with. But I do." Lucifer heard Y/n grow closer to him. "I felt as if my life would never be the same without you in it. It wasn't, it still isn't. For thousands of years, I felt so empty. I lost you, who is very dear to me."
Lucifer glanced at her from the corner of his eye, listening quietly as she continued. "As the years went on, I got better, but I never fully recovered from that day. The day, you were sent away. I never moved on, but, I got better. In a way, you and me, we've both known loss."
Lucifer looked away again, tears stinging at his eyes.
"We never really get over it, we never forget who was lost. But we can try and live life like we use to. We can move on...but we can never forget." Y/n placed a hand on his shoulder. "It was that loss, that pained me for so long. And I would have wanted nothing more, than to end that pain. But I knew there were people who needed me still."
Y/n eyes slowly trailed upward. "I had people who relied on me to tell of the future. For their sake, for Heaven's sake. But more importantly, I had friends. Friends, who might not be too happy that I had left too soon. Just as you, have Charlie, who would be just as if not, more devastated...if you were to disappear." Y/n looked back to Lucifer.
"I know I certainly would be. I lost you, but at least, you were still here." Y/n gently cupped Lucifer's face and turned his head to meet her eyes. "I know it feels like things won't ever get any better. That it seems like an uphill battle, that will never end. But you have people who can make things easier, that want to help you, that want you to live the best life you can. You have Charlie."
Y/n takes his hand. "You have me, even if I'm far away."
"Too far away." Lucifer adds sadly, leaning into her touch with closed eyes. Y/n stroked her thumb against Lucifer's cheek. "You know, at the start, I would have given anything to be with you again." Said Y/n wistfully. "Even now, I feel that same ache, even though you're right here in front of me."
Lucifer opened his eyes, his reflecting her own sorrowful ones. "I know it could never be, but, I just...I just want you to be by my side again. I never want to leave you." Y/n voice trembled. The heartbreak in her tone, made Lucifer want to hold her close and comfort her. Tell her sweet lies of how they could still be together. To be in a moment of ignorant bliss, together.
But before he could, Y/n pulled away. "I'm sorry. I...I need to go back. I've been here too long already." Y/n didn't get far before Lucifer, told hold of her hand, and pulled her in close to him.
"Stay." Lucifer whispers.
Y/n felt tears gathering in her eyes. "Lucifer, don't-"
"I mean it. Stay here with me." Lucifer insists. "I won't go on a second longer without you."
Y/n knew better than to give into fantasy, into delusion. She knew that it would never work, they would never be together, not truly. And yet.
"They'll find out. They'll just come down here and take me back. And who knows what they might do to you if they come."
"Let them." Lucifer challenged. "Let them try and take you away from me. Let them try and separate us a second time. I'll send them all back to their paradise, as flightless angels."
Delusions. That's all this was. Sweet lies, a fantasy, a promise of what would never be true. But it all sounded so lovely to her, as false as it was.
Y/n wrapped her arms around him tight, hiding her face in his neck. "I would be giving up everything, if I do this."
Lucifer felt a snag at his heart. That was true. Y/n was an important figure of Heaven, even more so, now that she was chosen by God himself to be part of his council. That's not a position to be given to just anyone.
And as she said, everyone in Heaven relies on her to give visions of the future. Without her, who knows what will happen? How God and his chosen angels will react? Surely, they would not rest until she was returned to her rightful place.
"I will not force this on you." Lucifer began. "But just know, if you were to stay, I would do everything in my power to protect you. I won't let anything happen to you, so long as I'm alive."
Y/n returned to Heaven later that night, a war raging within her heart and mind. She meant what she said, that she would have given anything to be with Lucifer again. But she knew better than to leave Heaven for good. She was needed here.
And now that she was apart of God's council, she was seen as a highly respected and important figure of Heaven. Not only would it be beyond selfish, for her to turn her back on the ones who gave her that title.
But it would be an act of utter betrayal to God himself, the one who gifted Y/n with visions of the future. He had also given her the gift of life, existence. And she would be throwing it all away for her own selfish wants and desires.
She couldn't.
But how could she live on for the rest of time, in a world void of Lucifer?
She couldn't.
Y/n turned to the one person she could rely on more than anyone else, and quickly hurried to Michael. Upon arrival, Michael knew right away that something was wrong. He invited her in, and they made their way in the study. They sat on a loveseat next to the bookshelf.
"You seemed troubled." Michael spoke first. His voice was gentle and comforting. "Is there something you want to talk about? You can tell me anything, you know?"
Y/n couldn't bare to look him in the eyes. "I'm...I'm afraid you won't be too pleased with me if I do tell you." She said cautiously. "In fact, I'm sure you'll be disgusted by me."
Michael furrowed his brows, and placed his hand on Y/n's shoulder. "Y/n. How could you think that?" He asks, concerned. "Because it's true." Y/n moved away from his touch. "I've yet to do it, and I'm not even sure if I am going to, or if I even can...But, I'm certain what I'm considering is an act of sin."
Now confused, Michael carefully takes Y/n's cheek in the palm of his hand. He turns her head to face him as he speaks. "Y/n, you're not making any sense. Please, tell me what's happened? I can help you."
Tears pooled in Y/n's eyes. "I'm not sure you can. I doubt anyone can." Michael's thumb swiped away a stray tear from her face. "Let me try." He says softly.
Y/n exhales shakily. "Do you regret the past?" Michael didn't need to be told of what. He already knew. Y/n didn't miss the look of pain in his eyes as he answered. "Of course."
"Would you change it? Or rather, would you defy Heaven to save what's been lost?" Asked Y/n. She forced down the lump that formed in her throat with the next question.
"Would you give up everything, if it meant seeing Lucifer again?"
Michael eyes widened, but just for a moment, before his expression fell. "Y/n, may I ask something?" He slowly moves his hand away from her face. Y/n only nods.
"Do you..." Michael trailed off, and there was that same look in his eyes. Y/n waited. Michael sighed heavily, he looked away from her. "Do you love him? Lucifer?"
Y/n felt her chest tighten, and it felt as if there were a snake constricting her throat, cutting off her airflow. She said nothing, and that was all Michael needed.
Michael sighed and stood up from the loveseat. Y/n watched as he walked to the window behind his desk. "I always knew you were attached to Lucifer. Ever since we were children, you were always by his side. Always getting him out of trouble, always looking out for him."
Michael glances at the small duck figure on his desk. "And when he was exiled, you were near inconsolable. So was I. My brother was gone, I'd never see him again. But you, your heart was broken for another reason, just that loosing someone you cared about." His stare returned to the window.
"Even as the years went on, I could see it. The way you felt about him never changed. And as it seems, your love for him has only grew stronger." Michael shut his eyes. "I thought maybe, you'd move on as I did. That those feelings would eventually fade."
"I was a fool to think otherwise."
"Michael..." Y/n murmured. "It's not like that. I...I just-"
Michael turned to her. "Please, don't lie to me." Y/n fell silent again. Michael continued. "This talk of...of an act of sin? What you are considering? Just what exactly is it?"
From the look on Michael's face, he was well aware of what Y/n was going to say. And it made her feel sick. She turned her head away, too ashamed to say anything else.
"I miss my brother, Y/n. But he is gone. Lucifer is gone, and he never coming back." Michael's words felt like knives in Y/n's stomach. "You understand that, don't you?"
Y/n nods weakly.
"And you understand, that what you are 'considering' would indeed be an 'act of sin'. Don't you?"
"Yes."
"And...you understand, most of all, that if you were to act on it, you would most likely be punished...Don't you?"
"Y-Yes..."
Y/n heard Michael approaching her, once again his hand met her face, turning it up at him. Michael's expression was one of concern...and of pain. "I'm only saying this, because I care deeply for you. I do not wish to see you suffer because of a reckless mistake, one I'm certain you will regret."
"I know." Y/n sniffles.
"Then please, for your sake, forget all about what you were...considering. Ok?"
Y/n blinks back her tears. The hole inside her chest growing and aching. With a broken voice, she answers.
"Ok..."

Temptation
This is the 8th installment of the Not What It Seems Series
Summary: This takes places months before Silent Leaving. Juice x Readers first hookup during a party at the clubhouse. As always 18+.
Juice was barely able to concentrate on what he was doing over the music and general chaos that happened during a club party. One voice stood out above the rest and he looked up to see you and Opie deep in an argument. "I don't get what she sees in that idiot" muttered Piney who had been sitting with Juice. Juice turned to him with a raised brow. "I'm just saying my son has no idea how to treat a woman. He has been locked up most of their relationship and she just caught him with his hands up that blonde bimbos skirt.
Juice kept his expression neutral before turning back to where you were stalking away to the dorms leaving Opie laughing before going back to the blonde. "I think I'm going to retire. Got a lot to do" stated Juice as he downed the last of his drink and closed his laptop. Piney simply nodded before moving away to sit with Chibs and Tig.
***
You were staring at yourself in the mirror of the bathroom when you saw Juice walk by the cracked door. You splashed water on your face to cool yourself after the argument with Opie. This shit was getting old and for the life of you, you still didn't' get why it was so important to your mom and stepdad that the two of you be together. You and Opie were like water and oil.... and you were getting closer and closer to lighting that ogre motherfucker on fire to be honest.
Stepping out of the bathroom you noted that Juice had left his door opened. He had always had your back and was one of your best friends. Not wanting to go home you made your way down the hall to his room. Pushing the door open you noted him at his desk. "Can I come in for a bit" you asked when he turned at the creak of the door. "Of course" replied Juice when he turned and saw you standing there.
Shutting the door behind you. You kicked your heels off and flopped onto his bed with a heavy sigh. Juice closed his laptop and turned in the chair so he could see you. "You okay?" he asked casually as his eyes roamed over the curve of your ass as you lay face down on the bed. "Think I'm just over doing what I'm told. It's gotta be obvious to everyone that Opie and I are not compatible." you murmured. "Fair" replied Juice as he contemplated his next move.
"I could show you a better time" the words were out of Juices mouth before he could even think through the repercussions. The words hung between you two for a couple minutes before you turned over on your side to look at him. The moment your eyes met his heated brown ones it was like you had been electrocuted. You couldn't deny the chemistry you two had.
"Show me" you pleaded as you sat up pulling your top over your head. Juice didn't need much encouragement before he had his own shirt discarded and was on the bed his lips crashing onto yours. Within a few minutes the two of you were a mess of tangled limbs, sweat and moans that echoed down the dorm hall. "Damn Juice is getting it" slurred Opie as Jax helped him make his way to his own dorm room. Jax simply grunted as they started to pass Juices door. "Dammit" muttered Jax as Opie lurched towards the door slamming it open.
"Fuck that shit up man" boomed Opie as his unfocused eyes looked over the two figures on the bed. "Sorry" called Jax as he yanked Opie back into the hallway and shut the door as quickly as possible.
****
Juice was thankful he had you face down in his pillow as he pounded you from behind when the door flung open. He was so entranced with watching his cock disappear into you and your sweet moans and gasps ring in his ear that he hadn't even faltered in his pace. You were so high on the after effects of multiple earth shattering orgasms that you had hardly registered the intrusion. At this point you were just glassy eyed as your body took every ounce of pleasure Juices skilled hands, mouth and cock put on you.
***
An hour later the two of you were at his actual house after sneaking out of the back door at the clubhouse. Showered and in on of his hoodies you couldn't be more content as he tugged you closer to him in his bed.

Hihi! I loved the commission i got from you and im honestly holding myself back from getting more on what if’s😭😭
Im finally asking the questions i have, there’s so many so feel free not to answer 😭😭 my apologies
Im just curious to how these would’ve turned out/what would’ve happened
I might get a commission on these in the future shjsjs
- If toji came into the picture earlier, how would've he handle him and y/n being like how him and naomi are? (playing house with yui basically, yui calling him"papa", being overly affectionate with each other/rubbing it on his face, taking her to places without his permission, toji telling him how to parent, and wtv else they did Imfaoo) also her dealing with it like he did(always putting toji over him etcc)
- what if toji came in the same time as naomi like two weeks afterwards? 🙂↕️
- What if she took yui and disappeared like in the commission, after the whole big fight
- would gojo still choose naomi over y/n at the point of a month being since they separated/when y/n saw them
- what if y/n did/showed him what he wanted? When she saw him and naomi, (im finding it hard to word this) ig asked him “why” etcc, asked him why he would go back on his word and communicate with him as to why she pulled away from him/still is in a way instead of doing what she did and sucking it up?
HIII thanks so much to youu <3 im glad that you liked it, i was so worried😭anw lets answer them!!
i see satoru losing his mind over that. i feel like he'll be confronting yn over it. he wont handle it like yn handled him and naomi, nah he cant be that calm LMAO i have a feeling there will be punches thrown between toji and him (or get close to it hahaha) his reactions will certainly cause a fight between him and naomi lol i feel like he wont make it obvious at first, but it'll make him crack soon enough.
if toji came the same time as naomi oh, mess. that's it, a mess. it'll be like these two people (toji and naomi) are just getting caught between these lovers who' s desperate to prove to each other that they're fine being apart lmao
if yn disappeared after the big fight, satoru would've lost it. he'll be carrying all that guilt, and all his unsaid feelings for her. naomi will try to keep up w him, try to join his searches thinking it's only bc yn has yui but it'll only be a matter of time before she realize that satoru just can't let go of yn.
as for the fourth question if i understood correctly, i think satoru wouldn't choose naomi over yn but rather he'll be contemplating whether he wants to go back to his chaotic relationship with her or enjoy the peace that he's getting currently. i would say, it wouldn't be abrupt but, if within a month of his rs with naomi, yn comes and says she wants to try again, satoru would slowly make his way back to her, breaking it gently to naomi rather than just leaving her. (she was good to him, esp. during hard times and part of his feelings for her stems from that.)
if yn did that the moment she saw them together, then naomi can consider her and satoru done 😭 no matter how many stupid things satoru has said/done to yn, he's still a special kind of soft for her. he will drop anything if yn's life is on the line and that applies to any given point in time in their rs. it was, is and will remain unchanged.

Eclipsed - Prologue
ZoLu/LuZo Au story
Repost from my other blog. I know this story is currently on the back burner due to me writing Noble Hearts, but since it is Luffy's birthday I decided to post one of the other chapter I have done.
Summary: Sun God Nika is accused of a crime he did not commit. Nika goes into hiding to avoid being hunted by other Gods who wish to have him replaced. This inadvertently plunges the world into darkness, triggering an ice age. Only one human has faith that Nika will return the Sun.
Chapter 1
Chapter 2
Chapter 3
Zoro landed harshly on his back, the impact sending a jolt of pain through him. Standing tall above, Kuina wore a smug grin, her wooden sword pointed mockingly at Zoro's chest.
"Another win, just like always." Kuina teased in that sing-song voice of hers.
Zoro's nostrils flared in irritation.
"Damn it! I would've had you if I wasn't nursing this stupid injury!" Zoro growled, swiftly rising to his feet and forcefully shoving Kuina's wooden sword to the side.
“Excuses, excuses…” Kuina tutted disapprovingly, shaking her head. Her sword rested casually on her shoulder, and her free hand found a place on her hip. “If you keep that up, how do you expect to become the world’s greatest swordsman? Attitude matters, you know.”
Zoro clenched his teeth in frustration.
“It’s not an excuse! I got sunburnt, and it’s messing with my movements.” Zoro argued. His face was turning redder than his sunburnt arms.
Kuina laughed and playfully pinched Zoro's cheek.
"Aww, you’re just sun-kissed, that's all.” Kuina teased. “Serves you right for taking a nap out in the garden.”
Zoro swatted Kuina’s hand away.
“I like the warmth.” Zoro crossed his arms, adopting a slight pout.
Kuina burst into laughter.
“You’re like a little kitten! Always finding a sun spot to nap in.”
Zoro gritted his teeth, reacting by grabbing his wooden sword and attempting to attack Kuina. However, she effortlessly blocked his strike.
“You’re too predictable when you get upset.” Kuina remarked, a wide grin on her face. Swiftly, she swiped her sword at Zoro’s feet, causing him to tumble. Sticking her tongue out, Kuina hurriedly darted away, leaving Zoro fuming on the ground.
Zoro sprang back to his feet, determinedly trailing after Kuina. Although Zoro had only been training at Isshin Dojo for a year, he was already second in the class… below Kuina. Her remarkable prowess fueled an unparalleled motivation within him. Witnessing Kuina effortlessly defeat opponents, even grown men, often left Zoro awestruck. He marveled at the fact that this young girl possessed such remarkable skills with her sword.
In the dappled sunlight filtering through the trees, Zoro pursued Kuina, driven by a desire to emulate her strength. The main entrance of the extensive garden seemed to welcome the children’s friendly chase. Zoro finally caught up, panting slightly, as Kuina greeted him with her radiant smile. Seating herself in the middle of the garden's pathway, she invited Zoro to join her. Feeling slightly out of breath, Zoro settled down beside her in the warm glow of the sunlit garden.
“I can see why you enjoy napping in the garden so much.” Kuina remarked, running her fingers through the soil. “I don’t think I ever got a chance to tell you how it was blessed.”
Zoro, catching his breath from the run, attempted to feign disinterest, but his raised brow betrayed his curiosity.
“What do you mean by 'blessed'?” Zoro inquired.
Kuina gracefully rested her hands on the ground, leaning back as the sunlight embraced her face. With closed eyes, she spoke solemnly, allowing the warmth to touch her.
“A few years back, before you joined the dojo, it was a harsh winter. Our garden struggled,” Kuina recounted. “Others in the village depend on us for food, especially in tough times. But that year, even feeding ourselves was a challenge, yet people still turned to my father for help.”
Zoro sat in contemplative silence, his brows furrowed, reflecting on the hardships faced by Kuina and the villagers.
“One night, I couldn’t sleep. The cold and hunger were keeping me awake, and then I saw a light outside my window. At first, I thought the sun had risen too early, but then the light disappeared. When I looked out, there was someone standing in our garden.” Kuina recalled, a fond smile playing on her lips. “I thought he was crazy…”
“Crazy? Why?” Zoro asked, no longer attempting to hide his interest.
Kuina opened her eyes, turning to face Zoro.
“It was freezing, but he was wearing sandals and summer clothes!” Kuina shared, her eyes gleaming with delight at Zoro's interest. “At first, I thought he might be a traveler trying to steal from our garden in the middle of the night. With so little food to go around, I couldn't let him do that. So, I grabbed Wado-“
“Kuina, no!”
“Yes! And then I ran out to the garden-“
“Why didn’t you wake up your dad?!” Zoro interjected, his jaw hanging open in disbelief at his friend’s bold move to confront a stranger in the dead of night.
“I was worried the man would be gone by the time I woke him up! So, do you want to hear what happened, or are you going to keep interrupting?” Kuina pouted.
Zoro reluctantly closed his mouth, biting his lip to refrain from further interruptions. Pleased to see Zoro finally staying quiet, Kuina continued her story.
“So I grabbed Wado, jumped out my window toward the man, and pointed my sword at him. I warned him that if he took anything from our garden, I'd strike him down where he stood. He turned to face me and... and he laughed.” Zoro could only imagine how Kuina reacted to being laughed at, knowing well that his friend disliked being underestimated. “His grin was so wide… I was convinced he was a madman! Then, he plucked one of the unripe tomatoes.”
Zoro gasped, unable to suppress his reaction. Kuina, well aware that she had Zoro completely enthralled, purposefully paused for dramatic effect.
“What did you do?” Zoro eagerly pressed Kuina to continue.
Kuina smirked.
“I swiped my sword down, aiming to slash at the hand that dared steal from our garden.” Kuina leaned back, gazing at the corner of the garden closest to her window as if reliving the moment. “But I missed… he was so fast, I barely registered him bouncing over me. When I turned to face him again, I was blinded by the same light from before. Suddenly, the man looked different. His hair turned white, dancing like fire. I found myself surrounded by a radiant glow, and then it hit me... I had tried to strike down a God.”
Zoro felt his heart sink into the pit of his stomach. Threatening a God was unheard of, it was an act that usually led to merciless consequences. Entire villages had been wiped out in the past for displeasing Gods, and Zoro knew the gravity of the situation Kuina had unwittingly stepped into.
“I suddenly became so scared. Wado slipped from my grip, and I found myself on my knees, pleading for mercy. He laughed again, and I was certain I had just cursed the entire village.” Kuina's smile softened. “But then, he knelt down to my level. Can you believe it? A God... kneeling! He even patted my head. Though his touch was warm, I remained frozen in shock. He took hold of my hands and handed me the tomato. I couldn't believe my eyes! It was suddenly ripe.”
“He moved past me, strolling through the garden. His light grew brighter and brighter, casting a radiant glow. Turning to give me one last smile, he vanished into a beam of sunlight, absorbed by the rising sun.”
Kuina's eyes brimmed with happy tears as she recounted the memory. Zoro struggled to fully grasp the significance of his friend's experience.
“Are you telling me you met Nika?” Zoro inquired, recognizing that only the Sun God could wield the power of the sun to disappear in such a manner.
Kuina nodded.
“After he left, the garden flourished with growth. I rushed inside to share Nika’s blessing with my father, and we were able to extend that blessing to others.” Kuina explained, running her hands over the soft soil of the garden. “It still amazes me that, even after all this time, the ground blessed by Nika retains its warmth.”
Zoro couldn’t resist reaching toward the garden soil. The warmth he had enjoyed during countless naps turned out to be Nika’s blessing all along.
“Why didn’t you tell me earlier? I wouldn’t have napped here if I knew the ground was sacred.” Zoro admitted, a tinge of guilt in his tone.
“I don’t think Nika minds. He seemed gentle that way.” Kuina reassured. “He's unlike what I've heard about other Gods. He’s unique, for sure, but I believe he genuinely wants to help others.”
Zoro observed Kuina's affectionate expressions as she spoke about Nika. If Kuina held the Sun God in such high regard, he must truly be an extraordinary deity.
“Nika is definitely my favorite of all the Gods.” Kuina declared, as if sensing Zoro's thoughts.
Zoro continued running his hand along the warm, blessed soil. In that moment, Zoro decided that Nika was his favorite God too.

Sneak peek for the next chapter of “ Lumine's harem (if Aether allows it)“
TW: Incest, dubcon, CNC. Dead dove content. MINORS DNI Pairings: Lumine X Aether. Lumine X Kazuha
⋘ 𝑙𝑜𝑎𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑑𝑎𝑡𝑎... ⋙
“So, what do you want to talk about?” she asked, following Kazuha’s gesture as he directed her to sit on the couch, “Is everything alright?”
“I’m not sure yet.” Kazuha said, sitting beside her, “It’s…about Beidou.”
Lumine nodded, silently asking him to continue:
“I just got a message from her and she asked me for a full report on the Alcor and more specifically, what happened on it.”
“O-oh!” Lumine exclaimed, feeling her face turn red. She almost forgot that Kazuha had caught her in the middle of a fuck pile, cum oozing out of both her holes.
“And you know this about me, Lumine. I never betray the trust my comrades have on me, especially when it comes to the people who saved my life. So… I'm sorry to say but, I must tell Beidou the absolute truth of the situation.”
“Th-That I-”
“That you used her beloved ship as a breeding ground, yes.”
“Kazuha!” Lumine exclaimed, lightly smacking his arm, “Don’t say it like that!”
“Am I wrong?” the man challenged, eyes flickering to where she hit him and back up to her, a certain darkness forming in them.
“N-No but-” Lumine sputtered, looking away and pouting, “Just sounds so lewd…”
“Because it is.” Kazuha said, “What you all did was so…dirty. Beidou will blow a fuse when she finds out.”
Lumine fiddled on her seat, frowning. She didn’t like the idea of making Beidou angry and she’d much rather that night on the ship be kept a secret between those involved.
“Then could you please not tell her?” Lumine asked, giving Kazuha her best puppy dog face, “She doesn’t have to know- please?”
Kazuha let out a sigh as he leaned against the couch, looking up like he was contemplating. “I could keep it a secret…I could…but why would I?”
“Eh?”
“Why should I keep it a secret?” Kazuha repeated, freezing her with a look that made her breath hitch, “I get nothing out of helping you. So, what’s in it for me?”
“Ummm- uhhh-” Lumine babbled, her brain trying to comprehend his words, a bit flustered with the way he was looking at her- like a predator sneaking up on its prey- “Wh-what do you want?”
“Oh, I know what I’d want from you.” Kazuha said, straightening up before leaning towards her, “The question is if you can give it to me.”
“Kazuha-”
“It would be a real shame if Beidou found out what you did,” Kazuha said, a dark glint in his eye as he cornered Lumine, pressing her against the armrest as he caged her in, “She’d never trust you again after soiling her ship in such a filthy- filthy manner.” he growled the word filthy the second time, making her hiccup. His eyes were dark, his fingers tight against the armrest as he came closer, his body almost touching her own.
“What would her reaction be, I wonder?” Kazuha continued, bringing a hand up to twirl a strand of her hair between his fingers, “If I walked up to her and told her: ‘your beloved Alcor was used as a breeding spot for Lumine to get fucked by multiple men again…and again…and again…’”
“Are you…blackmailing me?” Lumine asked, her voice uncharacteristically soft as her heart pounded in her chest. She didn’t know what had gotten into Kazuha, or perhaps this was a side of him he kept secret- but she was intrigued. She always suspected there was more to the man beyond his soft, gentle demeanor and she wondered if this situation gave him the opportunity to bring that out.
“Doesn’t that make things more fun?” Kazuha asked, his face close enough that she could feel his hot breath against her, “Poor Lumine. Caught up in a mess where all she can do is obey every word I give her…or else, the Captain finds out you went on a night long breeding gangbang spree on her beloved ship.”
Lumine gulped as her eyes flickered down to see his hardness press against his pants, the man clearly enjoying the situation, taking pleasure in cornering her. Being perfectly honest with herself, Kazuha didn’t need to blackmail her to comply with his demands- but if this is what gave him pleasure- then she’d be happy to go along with it. “So? Do I tell our beloved captain?” Kazuha asked.
“N-No please-” Lumine said, eyebrows furrowed as she easily slid into her role, whimpering sweetly, “Don’t tell her. She’ll never trust me again!”
“I can be convinced to keep my mouth shut.” Kazuha said, taking a strand of her hair and kissing it gently, a quick thanks for playing along, “as long as you listen to what I say and do as I order. No complaints~”
“Ok…I-I’ll do anything?”
“Really? Anything?”
“Anything.”

Alright, let’s get into this.
________
The dressing room exuded an air of quiet anticipation as the chiffon curtains danced with a subtle breeze that wafted through an open window. A large mirror dominated one side, reflecting the bride-to-be as she stood in the center, a vision of elegance in her white gown. The floor-length veil cascaded gracefully down her back, adding a touch of timeless allure.
The sunlight painted a warm glow, casting a soft halo around YN. She stared at her reflection in quiet contemplation, her eyes capturing the image of a radiant woman ready to embark on a new chapter of her life.
She adjusted her hair, the delicate pearls of her earrings catching the light as she moved, a final touch to her wedding attire.
A familiar voice interrupted the solitude, "Hope I’m not interrupting." YN turned to see Josh entering the room. His smile was infectious, and with a playful twirl, he lifted her off the ground, spinning her in a joyous dance. "You look so good," he complimented, genuine admiration in his eyes.
"So do you," she smiled, teasingly adding, "You're gonna steal the show with that suit."
"Well, that was the plan,” Josh replied with a laugh.
“So, is everything alright out there?” She looked at him excitedly. They had settled for a rather huge ceremony, nothing nearly as extravagant as the public might have expected for such a high-profile event, but still quite overwhelming. YN hadn’t really cared much for the organization detail, but she knew how much it meant to her fiancé. “I'd go and see for myself, but I don't want to see Harry, you know, bad luck and everything."
"Yeah, it's all good," he assured her. "Everyone's here, everything looks beautiful."
As Josh spoke, YN returned to face the mirror, tending to the final details with a graceful touch. She flattened the fabric of her dress, ensuring that every inch draped perfectly.
In the mirror's reflection, she detected a subtle shift in Josh's demeanor. His usually composed facade seemed to betray a hint of unease. "Are you okay?" she inquired, concern slightly etching her features.
Josh remained silent and looked down, the weight of unspoken words hanging in the air. A playful laugh escaped YN's lips. "What is it? You look more nervous than I do," she teased, attempting to lighten the mood.
"Nothing at all,” he paused, “I should probably go wait with the other bridesmaids," Josh eventually replied, his attempt to deflect the conversation apparent, as he headed out.
"Are you sure?" YN pressed, curiosity evident in the furrow of her brows.
“Yeah, don’t worry,” he replied absentmindedly, “I’ll see you out there, superstar.” YN smiled in response. Another pause lingered in the air before Josh spoke again. Standing on the threshold of the door, he turned back toward her, his gaze carrying an unusual solemnity. "Please, don't hate me," he muttered, his words carrying a weight that caught YN off guard.
A teasing smirk played on her lips as she responded, "Now, why would I hate you?" She called out his name, turning around to face him directly, only to find that it was no longer Josh standing at the door. The air in the room grew thick with unexpected tension.
He stood in the doorway, a figure from her past. His eyes, usually alight with the rebellious spirit of a rockstar, now held a quiet intensity.
"Hey," Jake's voice broke the apprehensive air of the dressing room.
His eyes seemed to tighten with a mixture of nostalgia and regret as he absorbed the vision of her, clad in ivory, the garment embodying dreams and promises she’d made to someone else.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, eventually, her voice carrying an icy edge, a knife to his heart.
"D'you really think I wouldn't show up?"
"Well, considering the little scene you pulled last week,” YN began, “I didn't exactly expect you—"
"I tried calling you," he admitted, his eyes pleading for understanding. "To apologize."
"I blocked your number," she replied, her voice unwavering. "Do you know why? Because I don't want to talk or listen to you, so you can-"
"Please," Jake stepped forward, a mixture of desperation and sincerity etched across his face. "It'll only take a minute." The room seemed to hold its breath, caught between the echoes of a painful past and the uncertain present.
She stood in silence, considering the request.
"Well?” she eventually demanded, eyes fixed on him, a mixture of defiance and curiosity etched on her face, “you said you wanted to talk, so talk." His mouth opened, but the words seemed to retreat, swallowed by the gravity of the moment.
After a prolonged silence, she sighed bitterly. "Wish I could say I'm surprised," she muttered, turning away, her reflection in the mirror revealing the guarded vulnerability in her eyes. "You can close the door on your way ou—"
"Don't go through with it," he blurted out, the urgency in his voice slicing through the room. She froze, her entire being arrested by the unexpected plea.
"W-what?" Her voice, a fragile whisper, conveyed the shock that gripped her.
He repeated the plea, his footsteps closing the distance between them, each step echoing the tumult within, “Don’t marry him.”
"Jake—" she started, but the words faltered.
"I love you, YN" he confessed, the words hanging in the air like a heavy mist. The room, once filled with the rustle of fabric and the soft exhales of emotions, now held a charged stillness.
Everything clicked in YN’s head. God, how could she have been so stupid? "Don't do this. Please—" she implored, her face a canvas of conflicting emotions, a tempest of anguish swirling beneath the surface.
"Please hear me out," Jake pleaded, hesitantly taking another step forward. "Last week? I—I don't even know where to start. I was such an idiot.” He’d been so drunk and so angry, and he’d taken it all out on her. The thing was, he’d only really been angry at himself, and scared too. He’d beenscared, terrified, by the very thought of spending the rest of his life blaming himself for not fighting for what they’d had, not fighting for her.
"No, Jake, don't—" she began, a plea in her voice.
"Tell me you don't love me. Tell me you don't love me, and I'll leave right now.” He grabbed her hand, “Just say the word, and I'll walk out that door, and you won't have to ever put up with me ever again," he insisted. She stood there, unable to form a word. "See? You still love me. I love you. We love each other. Now let's just go—"
"I love Harry," she finally said, her words cutting through his desperate plea. He momentarily flinched at her admission but pressed on, unwilling to let her slip through his fingers once more.
"So w-what? It’s okay. It’s you and me. We're the real thing. And sure, we both lost our way a little, and it's my fault. It's my fault.” He pressed a hand against his chest, his eyes desperately seeking her fleeing gaze, “I was stupid, and I let you go, but it doesn't matter now. The only thing that matters is that I love you, and you love me, so let's just—"
"I don’t," she whispered, her gaze fixed on her feet. His heart stopped, the weight of her words settling over the room like an irreparable fracture in the fragile silence.
"What?" Jake's voice broke, a tremor betraying the desperation in his heart.
"I don't," she repeated, her voice soft but firm. "Not like that. Not anymore."
"N-no... no, you don't mean that,” he insisted, desperation coloring his words. He reached for her cheek, his touch imploring her to look him in the eye. "It's okay. I get it if you're scared to walk out. It's fine. Just—just say the word, and I'll go out there and tell everyone to leave. You can go.” His eyes filled with tears, as he grabbed her hand. “We can go home."
His body language mirrored his irrational and desperate plea. He clung to her, as if trying to anchor himself to a reality that was slipping away.
"No,” YN shook her head, trying her best to remain collected, to keep a shred of distance between them, “we can't."
"No—no,” his voice broke, “don't say that," he pleaded, his desperation escalating as he grabbed her neck, the lines of rationality blurring in the intensity of the moment.
"Please, stop. I'm getting marr—"
"No!" he cut her off, his voice strained, unable to bear the reality unfolding before him. "Just- no, you—you can't, you're—you're mine," he pleaded, desperation driving him to his knees. He clutched at her waist, a desperate attempt to anchor her to a reality that was slipping through his fingers. "You're mine," he repeated, the words escaping him like a prayer.
"I'm so sorry, Jakey," YN said, gently extricating herself from his grasp. "I wanted to be yours, you know," her lip quivered, and her voice wavered with the weight of memories. If only he’d stayed. That was all he’d had to do. "I really did," she admitted, haunted by the ghost of a time when she once entertained the possibility of meeting him down the aisle. "But not anymore."
"Y/N," he whispered, a defeated plea that hung in the air like a lingering echo, as she stepped away from his kneeling figure.
"You should go," she said, fixing her mascara in the mirror. "They're waiting for me out there." The room bore witness to the shattered fragments of a love that once held endless promises, now scattered like ashes in the wind.
“Y/N,” he called out once more, desperately trying to get her to turn around, to tell him it was all one big elaborate prank, that she was now ready to come home. But she never did. A few seconds passed by, though to him it might as well have been a century. Still, he remained shackled to the floor, unable to summon the strength to get back on his feet.
That was until something sparkly caught his eye, a glint that reflected the sunlight.
Of course, he had noticed it before, who wouldn’t have? For a hundred grand, Cartier made sure anyone would. But he had never, until then, understood the extent of what it had truly symbolized. A shiny trinket of grief.
His throat dried up. He had lost the battle long before that morning.
As the door clicked shut, YN's legs betrayed her, and she sank into the nearest chair, the cold leather offering a semblance of stability in the emotional storm. She rested a trembling hand on her chest, attempting to soothe the chaotic beats beneath her fingertips. The room seemed to close in on her, as she breathed heavily.
Josh, swift as a guardian angel, materialized at her side. "Y/N, I am so sorry. Are you okay? I knew this was a bad—"
"Water,” she interjected, her voice hoarse, “please.” He swiftly retrieved a glass from the side table and handed it to her.
"Here,” he paused, and she took a sip, trying to regain composure. His hand gently caressed her back. “I am really sorry, YN. I just—” he sighed, “I figured you should at least know all your options, you know?"
She took another sip, the cool liquid offering a momentary reprieve. "It's okay. You were right,” she nodded, “it's better this way." She smiled sadly, her lower lip quivering slightly. After a moment she looked up to meet Josh’s gaze, "y-you should get one of the boys to go with him. He shouldn't be alone right now."
"Don't worry about that. Sam and Danny went after him as soon as we saw him walk out. Said they'd try to stop by the reception later if everything's okay."
"Good, good. That's good," she echoed, though her words seemed to traverse a great distance, lost in the labyrinth of her thoughts. The room enveloped them in a heavy silence, punctuated only by the distant hum of activity from beyond the door.
As the weight of the moment lingered in the air, Josh broke the silence hesitantly, his words carrying a concern that only a brother could muster. "So, you're really going through with it, then?"
Her eyes flickered with a mix of weariness and determination as she responded, "Josh, I really need someone to be on my side today."
"Of course,” a solemn nod conveyed his understanding, “you know I am. I just- wanted to make sure."
"I am," she affirmed after a moment, but the subtle lines etched on her forehead hinted at the inner turmoil she wrestled with. This was the right thing to do. The only thing to do.
With a gentle smile, Josh reassured her, "Alright, let's go then." He offered his arm, a supportive gesture that spoke volumes. "It's showtime, baby."
She took his arm, the physical anchor grounding her in a moment that felt suspended between dreams and reality. As they stepped out of the dressing room, the echoes of the upcoming ceremony reverberated in the hallway. The rest of the wedding party awaited, their faces a mosaic of excitement and anticipation, ready to accompany the bride on her transformative journey up the aisle.
The doors were poised to swing open, unveiling the next chapter of YN's life. "Ready?" Patty inquired as they all lined up.
"As I'll ever be," YN replied, her smile a testament to the resilience she summoned for the occasion.
Amidst the celebratory atmosphere, she couldn't help but notice Josh's quiet concern, a flicker of emotions that he didn’t quite manage to conceal. She knew him well enough to guess precisely what was on his mind—Jake.
"Wait," she said, stepping closer to her friend and gently leading him aside, away from the buzzing anticipation of the impending ceremony. Concern etched his features, and before he could voice his inquiry, she spoke, her voice a hushed secret meant for his ears alone. "You should go."
His eyes met hers. Words hovered between them, unspoken but palpable. “YN-”
"He probably needs you more than I do right now," she continued. Her gaze drifted to the rest of the wedding party, a mosaic of friends assembled for her momentous day. "I'll be okay," she reassured him, punctuating her words with a tight smile.
Tears filled her eyes as Josh looked at her speechless. He knew she was right.
"Come by the reception later?" she suggested, attempting to inject a note of levity.
A sad smirk played on his lips. "You know I'd never miss out on an open bar."
Their eyes met in silent exchange. They both knew he wouldn’t be back that evening. He let out a sigh and reached out to squeeze her hand gently before heading out the door.
Surrounded by her bridesmaid’s tender and inquiring looks, YN felt something shift within herself, like a chapter closing. She sensed it would be a while before she saw the Greta boys again.
YN’s throat closed as she blinked a couple of tears away. She smiled as her bridesmaids teased her for being so emotional on her special day. How cute it was to see her this flustered at the thought of the life ahead of her.
She turned one last time to the venue’s exit and was taken aback as she saw Josh sprinting back, quickly crashing into her figure as he engulfed her in one last bone-crushing hug. Now, that’s better.
"You've got this," he whispered in her ear, “give ‘em hell.” She laughed tearfully at the sentence she’d heard so many times before.
He blew her a kiss before heading out just as the musicians inside the venue started playing.
She smiled as the doors opened. Showtime.

Wanda Maximoff x Fem! Reader, Natasha Romanoff x Fem! Reader ;)
(High school Au ) No Powers
Word count: 2218
A/N: Here is another installment I hope you guys like it. I’m slowly getting back into writing. I’ll see you next time hopefully with an update for Misunderstanding the Assignment!
“What do you see when you look at me?” It was a simple yet loaded question. There was so much to see… Wanda had always been more than what the eye could see. There was too much context lost trying to explain it all in words. The good, the bad. The white, the black, the gray. You couldn’t look at her… that's why she asked. You settled for a simple answer. “Everything.” Time has passed and put your promise to the test. You showed up, but neither of you were the same. Maybe too much time had passed, but life as cruel as it was found a way to bring you both back into each other's life. “You’ve always known me better than everyone, even myself.” She was stating a fact that you weren’t sure was true anymore. “Stop looking away…” You couldn’t look at her because if you did start looking at her you weren’t sure you could stop. But she was Wanda… It wasn’t long before your eyes met hers. The first time in 10 years you let yourself fall into Her green eyes.
Wanda had this time obliged your request and from there on time started flying by. Prom came and soon enough you were sitting next to Natasha, her head on your shoulder. “This has been a very fun night.” You nodded. You didn't expect prom to go the way that it did. You'd envisioned things a little differently. But you couldn't complain Natasha was next to you all night and dancing with her was amazing. Wanda was there but she made herself scarce, You were thankful. You saw very little of her that night. Natasha knew that something had happened between the two of you, you didn’t tell her anything. Weirdly enough it didn’t feel right telling her. Natasha was swaying and tripping on herself so you took her to sit at a table. “I think you had enough of that punch” you chuckled. You saw Tony then Pietro spike the punch. “How about I take you home…” She was contemplating your offer. “Did she change your mind?” It wasn’t a reproach, just a question asked in a drunken stupor. “No…” There was no need to lie if anything what had happened steeled your resolve. “Then yes, you may take me home.” As easy-going that answer was, you saw that relief flood her body. You hated that you made her feel like that but all you could do was reassure her. You didn’t speak after that, you just made your way back home in silence. Natasha was out and in bed before you could even say goodbye.
Yelena caught you on your way out. Well more so she was waiting for you cornering you if you will. “I may hate Natasha with every fiber of my being, but she is my sister.” She started not leaving any room for you to interrupt her. “Do you see what I’m getting at?” You nodded. “If you ever treat her wrong Y/n I will have no qualms in committing murder.” You were scared more so because she was being completely honest. “I like you Y/n, so I’m asking you not to mess up here.” You nodded. “I promise you to do good by Natasha.” She seemed pleased with your answer and started retreating. “And Yelena… I like you too.” She didn’t bother looking back. “Yeah of course you do what's not to like.” You chuckled and made your way back to your house. Tony was waiting for you sitting on your front door steps. “Can you believe that We made it?” You immediately recognized this not often seen side of Tony. You sit down next to him and lay your head on his shoulder. You sigh and interlock your arm around his.
“If I'm being completely honest, no I can’t.” He nods. “How’d we even get here?” You noticed the far away look in his eyes. He sighed and spoke his thoughts “It feels like a dream.” It was your turn to nod, there was no other way to explain what you were feeling. “I didn’t think we’d make it past fifth grade…” He was referring to your friendship. Tony was never a loner he always had friends, but fifth grade was a difficult year for him consequently for you too. “You were such a dick.” You conceded “You were forgetting about me…” He confessed quietly. You pulled away and saw the tears brimming his eyes. “That’s not even remotely true.” You assure him. “But, you were. I didn’t like how that felt so I made sure you didn’t.” You let him keep talking. “Wanda became so Important… And I want you to move on and be happy I do, but you leaving feels a lot like that.” You took a moment and turned to him. “I cannot physically forget you, you are my best friend. My brother from another mother.” He chuckled. “I promise that I will never forget you. And if you at any point feel that I am, please feel free to be a dick to me whenever you’d like.” He laughed this time. “We’ve come too far Tony, you and me for that to just go away.” You both sat there looking at the sky for a moment. “It will all workout.” You sighed and stood up. “Come on, I bought another lego set a couple of days ago. It should be in the garage.”
Everything was starting to move faster and faster leading up to graduation. It was getting out of hand but before you knew it you were in line waiting to walk across the stage. You were all sitting on the edge of your seat. You almost rolled your eyes when the principal announced the valedictorian speaker. Vision… His speech was formidable, and you found yourself genuinely clapping for him at the end of it. After that it moved rather quickly name after name being called, and loud cheering from the audience. It all felt unreal, it would officially all be over in the matter of minutes. You saw them all walk that stage. First was Pietro; he brought laughs and cheers from all over the auditorium, his backflip being the reason. Then consequently came Wanda, she looked happy, her eyes scanned the audience and her eyes met yours. Her eyes watered, but they stayed on you. You gave a small nod and a tight smile and that was that. A couple of minutes later Natasha was walking down the stage and you could not look away, you didn’t want to. Her eyes found yours immediately she smiled and waved at you. Then came Tony who had nonchalantly avoided shaking hands with anyone on the stage just taking his diploma and walking off stage.
As for you, you just took it all in. Took your diploma and smiled when your picture was taken. Then you saw Natasha and suddenly it wasn’t so overwhelming. It was something that you were truly looking forward to. It would be you and her for the time being starting this new chapter. If you were sure about anything it was that it would be worth it. The ceremony let out and you met with all of your family and your friends which at this point was only Tony and Natasha. Taking pictures to commemorate the day. You left with Natasha by your side. "You know that I never thought we'd get another chance to be friends." Natasha sighed. "I knew even back then that I'd most likely never see you in person again." You nodded listening to her talk. She had insisted on driving you somewhere special to show you a surprise. "Moving to Russia is not something a friendship usually survives. Especially not a childhood one." You nodded listening and hanging on to every last word. "I was scared..." She admitted softly. "That one day you'd stop caring for me, that you'd stop calling." You kept quiet knowing you didn't need to say anything. Listening would be enough. "And for the longest time it bothered me to no end."
"And then, it was me who stopped calling." You nodded remembering the first month that she skipped all your weekly calls. It still stung, you'd had a crush on her already. "You saw through it Nat, It would've only crashed and burned." You tried to soothe her. She shook her head. "Where would we be if i didn't do that... And, you... You still called on my Birthday. Even when I stopped calling on yours." You'd made it to a small orchid with beautiful trees. You parked on the side of the door.. She rushed and helped you out of her car, she held your hand and didn't let go. "Before I left mom brought me here. Thinking back she was probably very much aware..." She looked thoughtful but didn't elaborate. You accepted her silence, not really reading into it, your mind too enthralled with the fact that she was holding your hand. It was a beautiful day, you still had time to kill before all the graduation parties began. "I think it's here..." She mumbled. You were curious to find out what it was.
Her hand squeezed yours when she saw what she was looking for. "Look." she ran her free hand along a tree her finger tracing the grooves. It was engraved. 'Nat + Y/n 4 ever' A nice heart encircled the two names. Natasha chuckles her mother definitely knew. "This... Wow." You were speechless. "When?" You managed to ask. "The week I found out we were leaving. It seemed fitting to do then." She smiled looking back at you. Your smile grew. "I'm only hoping it seems fitting now?" She asked suddenly, feeling self conscious. "We were totally in love with each other back then weren't we?" You say chuckling. She nods, but she doesn't say anything else, still waiting for you to answer. "I think this is very much fitting for us." She smiles lightly, biting her lip. "You think so?" You match her smile. "Yup" She moves quickly. Her hands grab your face as she pulls you towards her. When her lips meet yours it feels like the world stopped spinning, like the universe had been waiting for this to happen and it sighed in relief when it finally did. You didn't want to pull away. "You're telling me our parents knew we were gay?" She laughed in your arms.
It was a beautiful day worthy of this moment. She was ethereal the way her eyes lit up just captured your attention, there was no other place you'd rather be. "I was crushing on you for the longest time." You confessed. "Really? You never said anything." She wasn't exactly shocked by your revelation, but she was curious. "Well, I wasn't exactly sure how to address the fact that I had romantical feeling for my long distance best friend that I talked to maybe once a month." She chuckled. "That makes sense... Before Wanda?" Wanda was still a sore subject for Natasha. All you wanted was to reassure her. "Before... and after." She nodded. "There wasn't a choice Nat. I'd pick you, I promise you from this moment on." She smiled. "Well if it wasn't obvious I too have romantical feelings for you too." You laugh. "I'd say you do!" You say running your hand through the inscription on the tree. "I want you... us, to have the love story we deserve. So I'll make my intentions clear." Natasha was confident now and you loved it. "I want you to be my girlfriend, I want to be in your life as long as you want me in it." You smiled. "I want that too." You said softly. "Good... But I want to do this the right way. I don't want to rush us." You nod. "I can do that with you. As long as I get some kisses here and there, You know every once in a while." She pretends to think about it. "I think we can make that work." You nodded, extending your hand for her to shake. "Well that settles it then."
The night was still young, and you were very giddy. Tony was the one hosting the party everyone wanted to be at so your street was already crowded. “I’ll never get over the fact that Tony has this much influence over others.” Natasha mentions as she pulls into her driveway. “He’s a good guy, people wouldn’t follow him if he wasn’t. They follow him for the right reason.” You say. “I guess that's true.” You laugh. “Pepper will mellow his ego out, you’ll see. There’s no need to fear for the future.” You tease her. “Plus he’s made it very clear he’s not going to let us disappear from his life so, we’ll also humble him here and there.” She laughs. “We have a busy couple of months ahead of us so let’s enjoy this night.” You mention all the planning that needs to be made before you can actually begin this new chapter. “You’re right. I’ll get changed and meet you at yours in 20?” You nod. You practically skipped all the way home. It wasn't much distance but you skipped nonetheless.

“He’s looking at you again,” Lissa pointed out, a giggle falling out of her pink lips.
This had been going on longer than you thought it would. Your close friend Lissa had been pointing out every time she had caught Stahl looking at you. At first you thought she was just messing with you. She had quickly caught on to your feelings for the olive haired knight when she noticed how you were warmer to him than anyone else. Whereas others wouldn’t bat an eye at you bumping shoulders with Stahl jokingly, Lissa had honed in on the smallest interactions she caught between you two.
Little did you know, she had also picked up on signs from Stahl. The way he leaned into your jokes, or how he always seemed to have something you needed when you needed it. She felt hopeless watching the two of you subtly showing your signs of care and affection for the other. The two of you were so blinded by your own feelings, you missed how the other felt.
Rolling your eyes, you replied, “Whatever helps you sleep at night.” Lissa pouted, getting sick of your ignorance.
This had continued until finally you were forced to face the facts. You were innocently teasing each other, enjoying the other's presence.
“You’re so mean to me,” You pouted, crossing your arms over your chest.
“Only to you,” Stahl teased with a bright grin adorning his face. You missed the way his eyes watched you warmly. Instead you reached up to his cheek and pinched it in slight frustration (perhaps a bit out of cute aggression as well).
“Ow!” Stahl yelped, holding his cheek protectively as it was his turn to pout at you. A wave of guilt had suddenly hit you, not wanting to have actually hurt him.
“I love you,” You blurted, hand forming a heart shape. It was something you did when you felt you may have gone a bit too far, hoping to make amends before the other person could get too mad. You had done it with your childhood friends, they had been who you learned it from. So you didn’t think much of it until you parted shortly after.
Lissa pounced on you, pulling you over and jumping up and down excitedly. With your back turned, you had missed the warm pink that dusted over Stahl’s face, walking towards his next duty with a beaming grin. He couldn’t help the excited flutter his heart gave recalling the memory. Even if you hadn’t said those three words in the way he wished, he was still content hearing you aim them towards him regardless.
“You told him you love him!” Lissa squealed once the two of you out of ear shot.
You felt yourself warm at the implication and quickly went to clear the obvious misunderstanding, “I meant it as a friend.”
Once again, Lissa pouted, cheeks puffed out in frustration, “Then why did he give you the most lovesick look after you said it?” You paused, trying to recall how he looked. Damn you for being too anxious to look at people fully.
“He did?” You asked meekly, a strange feeling encompassing you at the thought. You continued to contemplate your feelings, and they were stronger than you had anticipated.
“He has been for the longest time!” Lissa exclaimed, crossing her arms. “And I’ve been pointing it out this entire time! You’re just noticing?”
You couldn’t stop thinking about it for the rest of the day. The sudden realization of just how deep your feelings had scared you. You’d never felt so scared for loving someone before. You loved your friends deeply and unconditionally, but not to the extent you loved Stahl. It was scary how you could envision your future with him, even scarier was the thought of him not being there.
You kept stewing in these thoughts, sitting by the fire as the other’s started retreating to their tents. You had never seen yourself being dependent on someone else. The thought alone was terrifying. Relying on someone else, giving them your heart and trusting they won’t break it. But then your mind drifted to Stahl, and the thought of giving him your heart seemed less daunting. He was so sweet, easy to talk to and fun to be around. He had shown you nothing but kindness and your fearfulness seemed silly. If you were to depend on anyone, it would be Stahl. And just as you came to that conclusion, Stahl had joined you by the dwindling fire.
Suddenly your self assurance had vanished and the anxiety of giving someone your all had returned full force. You curled in on yourself, holding your knees to your chest as you watched the flames dance around. You could feel Stahl’s worried eyes watch you, and where this would usually calm you down, it had only heightened the anxiety coursing through your veins. He had scooted closer to you. This too would normally calm you down, but this time it made you feel like you were drowning.
“What’s wrong?” He muttered, voice soft.
Tears formed in the corner of your eyes as you buried your face into your knees, hoping it would hide you from your fears, “I’m scared.”
Stahl frowned, watching as your breathing picked up and you suddenly grabbed onto your hair. You kept repeating that you were scared and he felt his chest tighten. He hadn’t seen you like this in a long time, and he hoped he never had to. Your anxiety had been clear to him since he first met you, and it was his personal achievement that his presence had seemed to quell most of it. Although this time, he was the cause without even knowing.
He placed his hand on your back, bringing you into his chest and holding you. Resting his head on top of yours, Stahl gently rubbed your back. You grasped onto his tunic. Not only was he the source of your anxiety, but he still managed to comfort you.
Once your hysteria started to die down, Stahl asked, “Do you want to talk about it?
Your fist clenched onto his tunic once more, whimpering out pitifully, “I love you and it's scary.”
Stahl’s heart pumped faster, yet it twisted as well. Was loving him really so harsh? He knew it wasn’t that, but his own mind couldn’t help but warp it to be as such.
“I’ve never felt this way for anyone before and it's so scary,” You continued, unaware of Stahl’s internal conflict. “I love you so much but I’m scared to let you in.”
At this, Stahl nuzzled the top of your head, “You don’t have to do anything you're not ready to do.”
“But I want to,” You replied back almost pathetically, melting into the warmth of his affection. “I want to love you and care for you, and for you to love and care for me.”
“I do love and care for you,” Stahl replied instantly, only pulling away enough to meet your eyes. The usual feeling of warmth and affection filled him every time you were near filled him tenfold. He brushed back a stray strand of your hair as his hand rested on your cheek.
His touch sent your body aflame, unused to such a gentle caring touch. You stared at him with unending love and adoration for the man who sat in front of you, who held and touched you with such reverence. You felt your mind finally ease, and the thought of giving your all to him had finally brought you peace. He cared for you just as you did him, and you couldn’t be any happier than you felt at that realization.
Closing the small gap between the two of you, you placed a gentle kiss on his cheek. You both watched the other with tenderness, not wanting the night to end just yet.
Lissa picked up on change in both of you the next day. She watched with near awe at your unabashed adoration for the other, how you were even more relaxed by Stahl’s side, how he managed to dote on you even more than before.
‘Finally,’ Lissa thought to herself with a slight huff.

So, I love the Makai Tree arc from the Sailor Moon R anime.
I love the voices for Ail (Alan) and En (Ann) in the old DiC dub.
But dear God, do I absolutely HATE how the old DiC dub butchered their conclusion.
The arc was being fairly well translated, all things considered, until we hit the last three episodes. In Episode 11, the dub script does not appear to be caught up with the visual storytelling. The episode keeps on cutting to this shot of the Makai Tree as things go wrong:
This is meant to signify that the Makai Tree, which is a tree that takes in energy and then gives it back to its children (Ail and En in this case), has been getting the wrong energy from its children and as such is giving the wrong energy back. Energy that is forcibly taken from others out of selfishness will convert into negative energy that only heightens Ail and En's bad qualities. That is why Ail and En are suddenly contemplating murdering Mamoru and Usagi respectively out of jealousy even when they hadn't ever done so in the past, and why Cardians under their control are going crazy and lashing out indiscriminately. But in the dub:
Ann: That's weird. Every time someone's nice to me, I feel so much better; I keep seeing the Doom Tree, growing strong and healthy.
OK, first off, that's not the Doom Tree. In case you didn't notice, there is a tortoise and a hare at the bottom of the screen. This whole scene is meant to be Usagi offering to help Natsumi with her schoolwork because she thinks she's ahead in their wager and she may as well be kind to her losing rival, with Natsumi thinking this is like the Earth story of the Tortoise and the Hare where the hare loses a race because of its overconfidence in beating the tortoise.
So that's the first of three problems with this scene's translation. The second problem is that Serena says that she's willing to try and get along with Ann because Alan turned out to be such a cool guy so she wants to give his sister a chance, and....huh? Serena's interactions with Alan (as are Usagi's with Seijuro) have consisted him always weirding her out with his pretentious flirtations, him being a rival to her love interest, and one of her friends losing her crush on him when she learns about his messed up views on love. So there has been nothing about him to make her think he's "such a cool guy". In the original, Usagi is willing to get along with Natsumi for the same reason she's willing to get along with Seijuro: she's kind to a fault and wants to see the best in everyone even if she quarrels with them or finds them irritating. Her entire romance with Mamoru and her friendship with Rei hinges on this quality!
Third and most importantly, turning this scene into a touchy-feely bonding moment between Serena and Ann implies Ann is improving, that she's starting to learn the error of her ways, when as I stated before it's literally the opposite: she's supposed to be getting worse. She literally attempts to kill Usagi right after this conversation, and then again in the subsequent two-part finale. So this creates a huge whiplash effect and renders things incoherent. Is the dub suggesting Alan and Ann would improve if they only stopped intaking energy at all, even when they would literally die if they did that? A point they beat into our heads repeatedly?
And then there's the finale. Beyond more mention of "the Negaverse" since DiC wants to fool people into thinking these clearly unconnected villain groups are part of a single whole, we get perhaps the most insulting, totally-missing-the-point alteration of dialogue in the series.
Here's the accurately translated Viz version.
Ail: Why did you risk your life like that? Usagi: I'm willing to risk my life…to protect anyone I truly love. (Ail is shocked). En: My, how noble of you. (En pushes Usagi backward with another blast.) En: C'mon, time to beg for help, you weak little human. Usagi: I don't care what happens to me. Just please spare Mamoru's life. En: What a stupid request to make! But if you think your own life's not precious; oh well, then. (En keeps blasting only for Mamoru to shield Usagi each time.) Ail: ….Beautiful….so very beautiful….Is this what it means to love? En: Ail? Ail: En, I see now. Love can not be forced. En: Huh? Ail: Don't you get it? Love is something that is built together….by caring for each other. En: You don't know what you're saying! Makoto: He's right! When you truly love someone, the strength of that love gives you the courage to overcome anything. (En is about to lash out again when the Moonlight Knight appears.) Moonlight Knight: All the creatures of the universe are friends. Instead of fighting against them, open up your heart to them. (En is visibly on the verge of tears). En: That's easy to say! But you could never understand all the pain that we've been through! Our pain comes from us wandering the entire universe for so long with no-one ever caring about us! Ail: En… En: We had to take whatever we could! And if we hadn't done that, we never would've survived! Moonlight Knight: Nothing good comes out of stealing. It only brings shame, heartache and hate. En: YOU SHUT UP! (En blasts the Moonlight Knight into the Makai Tree, which absorbs him and goes haywire.)
The purpose here is not only to show Ail learning the true meaning of love through introspection and showcasing how En can't do the same because she's consumed by her negative emotions built up over a long time, which is why she ends up learning through the emotional impulse of protecting Ail than from harm instead, but also to show that Ail and En are not evil. It's a point En's voice actress even made: they are misguided but not malicious at heart. They are turned evil through the bad energy from the Makai Tree, but that makes them no more culpable than Mamoru/Endymion before them or Chibiusa/Black Lady after them. That's why Usagi, Makoto and the Moonlight Knight are trying to talk sense into them.
And now here's the DiC dub.
Alan: She's even braver than I thought. Serena: You don't know what bravery is! Or friendship! All you know is EVIL! (Alan is shocked.) Ann: That's right! So glad you finally noticed! (Ann pushes Serena backward with another blast.) Ann: Renounce your love for Darien and I might spare you. Serena: No! I'll never renounce my feelings! True love can't be taken away by anyone! Ann: You're a sentimental fool but I can make you change your mind in a flash, Romeo! (Ann keeps blasting only for Darien to shield Serena each time.) Alan: I've never see anyone…so sad! Maybe…maybe this is wrong. Ann: What is? Alan: This destroying love. It's such a beautiful thing. Can't you see how they love each other? Even if she is our enemy, it'd be wrong to destroy them. Ann: You're just weak, Alan! Lita: No, you're the one who's weak! You don't have any real friends! And the only emotions you know are hatred and vengeance and jealousy! Ann: Can it! (The Moonlight Knight appears.) Moonlight Knight (asshole tone): It's a bad scene, Sailor Scouts, but nothing we can't handle! These poor misfits can be beat! (Ann is visibly on the verge of tears). Ann: Misfits!? You have no idea who you're talking to, Turban Boy! Listen! It takes more than some stupid little rose to beat the power of the Negaverse! You'll see what this misfit can do! Moonlight Knight (asshole tone): Your jealousy has blinded you, Ann! You just can't bear that Darien's dumped you! Ann: He has noooooot! (Ann blasts the Moonlight Knight into the Doom Tree, which absorbs him and goes haywire.)
WOW. So not only are Alan and Ann made out to look worse than their original counterparts with Alan's shock now coming from called nothing but evil then being half-assed with saying "maybe" what they're doing is wrong and Ann behaving nothing but evil (complete with "Negaverse" dialogue) with her sad rant about the pain and loneliness she's suffered being removed (even Ail's "En..." is just cut altogether), but Serena, Lita and the Moonlight Knight all just insult them rather than try to reach out to them. "No bravery or friendship, nothing but evil", "weak with no real friends and only knowing hatred, vengeance and jealousy", "poor misfits angry at being 'dumped' that have to be 'beat' instead of healed"....it's horrendously out-of-character for all involved and against the message of the arc and arguably the whole anime metaseries. It's like DiC took Sailor Moon's "I'll punish you!" catchphrase to the most literal extreme and made her a hero who punishes evildoers indiscriminately instead of a hero who tries to reach out and help evildoers she knows have good in them and/or are in pain like Ail/Alan and En/Ann. And much like the scene in detention, it also creates a huge whiplash when Alan and Ann end up being redeemed. The heroes tell us they're evil and weak cowards who can't feel anything positive, then they proceed to prove them spectacularly wrong and there's just no commentary on it and seemingly no awareness on how bad it makes them look. Geez, I didn't care for the Moonlight Knight to start with; now I hate him!
So thanks a lot, DiC, you fumbled the ball in the very last inning.
Buuuuut maybe I can forgive you just for this:

What if..
( Bakugou Katsuki x Reader )
The last few moments of the sunset slips through the slightly parted curtain, a steadily fading glow of warmth in contrast to the room’s white light. The strip of light paints over Katsuki’s back and shoulder. The lower streaks of his hair gets caught in its fading rays as well.
Nozomi’s eyes linger.
cross posted on ao3
“Hey, Katsuki.”
Nozomi calls to him from his bed, laying on her side with her phone in hand. Her attention is focused on the boy
“What-”
“Katsuki.”
“Don’t fucking cut me off. What is it?” The blonde grumbles from his desk, just across the bed. He doesn’t turn around to face Nozomi, though.
“.. Nothing.”
Was all she said before going back to her phone.
Katsuki sighs but leaves her be, instead returning to scribbling down on his notebook to get some homework done.
Peaceful silence fills the room then.
Nozomi’s little visits to Katsuki’s room are pretty frequent. Most of the time, it’s just her sitting around the blonde’s room like it’s her own, laying down on his bed, chatting him up, and doing nothing else.
Not like he doesn’t do the same to her room, though, so she supposes he doesn’t mind her presence..
“... Katsuki?”
“What now?” He sighs in exasperation, finally turning around on his chair to look- glare at the girl. “And don’t say it’s nothing again, or I’m kicking you out.”
“No, no, it’s..” Nozomi trails off, fixing a contemplative look at the blonde.
“... It’s hard to explain.” She says with a frown as if she’s upset at how complicated the task is, expressing what she wants to say, what she wants him to know. “I wanna tell you something but it’s… there’s a lot going on with it. It’s hard to.”
“Just tell me straight to the point, then.” Katsuki states simply, finally moving his chair around to face Nozomi rather than crane his head to just wait for her response.
She’s always so mouthy, babbling about the ‘why’s and ‘how’s and ‘but’s of everything before even reaching the topic. Makes him think Deku’s rubbed off on her for hanging out so much, but even he knows Nozomi’s been a mess since way back in middle school.
Nozomi makes a face at his advice.
“Can’t.”
“Why not, it’ll make things easier and you won’t yap for the next five minutes about something I don’t even know about yet.”
“Yeah, but-”
“Fucking say it already.” Katsuki growls, cutting her off with narrowed eyes.
Nozomi huffs. She then turns off her phone and leaves it on the bed, but she doesn’t sit up.
“Fine. Just don’t think I’m weird, okay?” She says, defensively. “I wanted to get this out for a while and I don’t know how you’ll react. I don’t want to-”
“I don’t wanna hear another build-up, Nozomi.” Katsuki sighs.
“I like you.”
…
Katsuki raised a brow at her.
“You like me?”
Nozomi swallows, trying to swallow down the lump in her throat as she holds his gaze. Her head felt like it’s starting to spin from her sudden confession. Oh fuck, she just confessed to her best friend, oh my Gods above, this is a mess–
“Yeah.” She chokes out as she does her best to seem brave about her situation, despite being visibly nervous.
“Is that it?”
“What do you mean ‘is that it’?” The girl huffs, pouting from her spot on the bed.
“Dunno, I thought you’d tell me something like the world is gonna end with how you keep building this up.” The blonde says as he crosses his arms. “So, you have a crush on me, is that what you wanna say?”
The wording made Nozomi look away.
She huffs, “I guess so.. Can’t really find another reason why I feel this way with you.”
“How do you feel about me?” Katsuki couldn’t help but ask.
“Like.. Like I want to be with you all the time.”
“You’re clingy, that’s a given.” He points out.
“No..!” Nozomi exclaims in complaint, brows furrowing. She then rolls to lay on her stomach, elbows propping her up on the bed to face him.. “I mean, like.. I want to be with you for a long time. Like it makes me feel sad whenever I think about you leaving. And I feel happy and warm and.. Comfortable around you. And I want to hold you.”
Nozomi feels her face heat up as she continues to explain herself, with the flush of her cheeks growing at how neutral Katsuki’s face is the entire time she says those words.
“Y-You know..” She mutters, shoulder slumping slightly. “.. stuff like that.”
Katsuki only hums in reply.
His ruby eyes stay trained on her, nearly devoid of emotion aside from how he seemed to stare right through her, trying to get a read on her very soul.
Nozomi sighs and looks away once more. She rolls to her side and flops on his bed, turning over to smother her face in his pillow.
“Nevermind..” She mutters. “It’s stupid, ignore all that.”
“Hey.” She hears Katsuki exclaim from behind her. She could imagine his brows furrowed again, probably taking offense that she’s getting too comfortable on his bed and hogging up his stuff. “Look at me.”
She doesn’t.
Instead, she stays with her back turned to him.
A heavy, exasperated sigh and the light creak of a chair from one’s weight being lifted off it.
The blonde’s familiar silhouette shadows over her and casts onto the wall the bed is pressed up against.
The dip of the mattress behind her.
…
“I’m sorry..” Nozomi’s quiet voice breaks the silence.
“Don’t apologize.” Katsuki mutters.
Still, she doesn’t relent, “I’m being stupid. Feelings are so hard, I hate it..”
Katsuki grunts in reply as he remains seated at the edge of the bed.
…
“.. Are you upset..?” Nozomi dares a peek over her shoulder to look at him.
“No.”
She could see Katsuki looking down at the space on the bed beside him, catching her movement through his periphery. “So, you wanna be with me, is that what this is?”
Nozomi shrugs.
“If you’re fine with it.”
“God, just- come up here.” Katsuki says gruffly, finally craning his head back to glare at her. “Can’t have a proper conversation with you if you’re just gonna sulk in my bed.”
The girl does as told, not without a huff of complaint as she sits up and scoots over to sit at the edge of the bed beside him. “There.”
“Don’t sass me.” He mutters with narrowed eyes. “Now, answer me. You asking me to be your boyfriend or what?’
“I mean-” Nozomi starts, choked up and her eyes flicker off to the side and back to him “-Yeah..? I think I was hoping you would return my feelings or something..”
“And if I did?” He asks.
Nozomi blinks up at him in surprise.
Katsuki grins at her reaction.
“What if I want you to be my girlfriend?”

number 14 for Mina of Twice?
Mina x Reader
Prompt n°14 : water gun war
No use to run
It was a sunny day to wake up to. The large windows of Mina's house were giving you the full landscape of a beautiful sunrise.
Mina was still sound asleep, and even if your first thought was just to cuddle her and go back to sleep, you were feeling that little touch of mischief in you today.
So you got up quietly and made your way to the kitchen.
Don't ask why but you keep your precious water gun under the sink. Luckily, for some reasons Mina hadn't caught up on it yet, or else she would've gotten rid of it.
She might be tired of all the pranks you pulled up lately or at least she pretends to be. Even if deep inside she loves how it keeps her on her toes and always ends up with kisses and cuddles.
As you were sneaking back in the bedroom, you noticed Mina wasn't in bed anymore, you thought she might've went to the bathroom or something.
You were contemplating whether to pretend to be back asleep or wait for her behind the door and attack her when she'll get out.
That was before you got hit by a huge splash of water coming from behind you.
"Bonzaï !!"
Mina caught you off guard.
You tried to defend yourself but to no extent until the strim of water that felt endless did stopped. You turn to your girlfriend a smile full of mischief on your face and you gave the assault.
She was running as fast as she possibly could without slipping, you were up to three circles around the kitchen table when you got her stuck between you and the counter.
She had her hands up in the hair trying to protect her already messed up hair. You pulled the trigger only to see that your gun had no more water either.
You pouted like a child while she opened slightly one eye, confused over why she wasn't drenched yet.
When she saw your disappointed face she hugged you getting her pj's soaked in the process but she didn't mind.
"Let's just say I win this time."
You both burst out laughing.
"But am I really loosing if I got you wet and in my arms."
Mina's turned bright red to your dirty comment and you realised the second meaning of it.
"I mean, I am standing by that sentence."
She hit you in the arm and tried getting out of the hug.
"Don't leave me, I know I'm a sour loser but still you said you'd love me either way."
She shook her head and kissed you.
"Come one sour loser stop talking nonsense amd let's go back to bed."
Hey, here's the request hope you like it. Thank you for taking the prompt -Ael

Catherine wrung her hands. "I know he means well, but I haven't seen my brother in sixteen years," said Catherine as she paced back and forth. Roxie took Catherine by her shoulders. "I know, I'm spiraling... Sorry." Catherine took a few deep breaths with Roxie, and Roxie smiled.
"Don't you want to see your brother? I mean, I get you wouldn't want him to see you here, but at least you're not high," Roxie joked as she playfully punched Catherine in the shoulder. "I'd give anything to see my sister now... What's your brother like anyway?"
"Eddie's a goof... In a good way, or at least he was... It's been so long," Catherine whispered, "Do you think I should see him?"
"At the end of the day, it's up to you. I'd see him if I were you," Roxie replied as she did her makeup in the mirror. "But I'm just a sucker for a dramatic family reunion... And maybe you'll set me up on a date with him once this is all over."
Catherine shook her head. "He's way too old for you. Trust me. He was like fourteen when I was born," Catherine laughed. Roxie turned around and widened her eyes. "Yeah, I know. People used to think he was my dad."
Roxie let her hair down and turned around to look at Catherine. "Now that the crisis is over, you should probably call your girlfriend and tell her you'd like to see your brother," Roxie replied.
"Why does everyone think that we're dating?" Catherine asked.
"Starting with the obvious sexual tension? Hm, I dunno," Sarah teased as she entered the room.
"We do not have—." Catherine pushed a hand through her hair. "I'm working on one thing at a time. Besides, I should work on being the best mom I can be for a while." Catherine plopped down on her bed.
"Are you excited to get out of here for the weekend?" Roxie asked. Catherine shrugged.
Silence fell over the room while Catherine contemplated her answer. "It'll be nice to make Jason's breakfast and help him with his homework. I want to show him that I can do the little thing... I want to show him that he doesn't have to make things easy anymore," Catherine sighed, "But I feel like I'll ruin his weekend somehow."
Roxie lay on her stomach next to Catherine and kicked her feet in the air. "Positive thoughts, Catherine," Roxie tapped her nose. "But you should call Nat and tell her it's okay to bring your brother... Besides, I wanna see him."
"Roxie, you're a mess," Catherine laughed as she got up and went to the phones. She dialed Natalia's number and waited for an answer.
"Hi, Kitty. What's the matter?" Natalia asked. Catherine could hear Jason laughing in the background, setting her at ease.
"Is my brother still in town? 'Cause if he is, tell him I'd like to see him when you guys pick me up," Catherine replied.
"I'll tell him. What—?"
"What're they doing?" Catherine asked. Her voice was soft and distant.
"Eddie's bench-pressing Jason," Natalia described. Catherine covered her smile. She knew that Natalia wanted to laugh too. "I don't think Jason's gonna want him to go."
"Ed's got that effect on people," Catherine whispered, "Well, I've gotta go get ready." She lingered a moment until she heard her brother's voice.
She hung up the phone, returned to her room, and changed into the sweater Jason got for her. She packed her bag and lay on the bed, working on her journal. Roxie still lay on Catherine's bed, reading a book. "I'm gonna miss you when you leave, Mamas," Roxie whispered. Catherine turned to her and smiled sadly.
"Roxie, I'm not leaving for sure yet. I'm just going this weekend to see if I might be ready," Catherine whispered, "But if I do leave, I want you to know you're like the daughter I always wanted."
"Minus the underaged alcoholism?" Roxie joked. Catherine chuckled and rolled her eyes.
"Stay out of trouble this weekend, okay?" Catherine brushed her knuckle against Roxie's chin.
For the next few hours, Catherine sat with Roxie, journaling and talking. Catherine dozed off. She woke up to Jason tapping her nose. "Mom? Mom, are you ready to go?" Jason asked. Catherine sat up and embraced him. "You're not mad at me?"
"No, Sweet Pea. I'm not mad at you," Catherine whispered as she got up and grabbed her bag. She took Jason's hand and walked toward the door. Eddie stood just outside the door, and she barely had time to breathe before he picked her up off the ground.
"Kit," Eddie grinned as he swung her around and put her back down. "I'm so proud of you."
"I'm in rehab, Eddie," Catherine replied, trying not to smile.
Eddie reached into his pocket and pulled a coin out of his wallet. He took her hand and placed it in her palm. "Ten years last December," Eddie smiled. "I've got so much to tell you, Kit."
Catherine stood still, and Eddie took her bag and scooped Jason up under his other arm. Jason laughed, and Natalia stuck with Catherine, holding her hand. "How's Jason?" Catherine asked.
"He's been distant with me the past two days. I think it's because he called me mom on accident—."
"Jason called you mom?" Catherine asked. She wanted to be upset, but she found herself smiling. "Sorry, I'd be upset if it was anyone else, but he told me he'd like to have you as a stepmom or a second mom."
"You're not mad?" Natalia questioned.
"No, and I'll talk to him so that it doesn't have to be weird anymore," Catherine whispered, "And Eddie?"
"He's perfect," Natalia replied, "Jason adores him." They got in the front seat and Jason and Eddie in the back.
Eddie buckled Jason's seatbelt. "You know what, Jay? How's about we barbecue for your mom and Miss Nat this weekend?" Eddie suggested.
"Sure, but I don't know how—."
"I'll show you. You're about the right age to learn," Eddie smiled, "Kit, do you still like ribs?"
"Eddie, you don't have to go through all this trouble," Catherine whispered.
"I just found out my baby sister's still alive, and I've got a nephew. I'd be crazy not to celebrate," Eddie grinned, "Besides, I wanna teach Jason something while I'm here."
"Okay... Yeah, that'd be fine," Catherine smiled before she turned to look at Jason. "Jason, do you have any homework this weekend?" Jason nodded.
"I'm almost done... But I need help with my math homework," Jason replied. Catherine covered her smile.

Fanfic chapter, the one with Eagleclaw.
The commander was sorta mad. Oh, no one messes with one of his friends and gets away with it.
Ugh, the nerve!
Luckily, they knew where Eaglebones’ mom lived, as they had all gone to the funeral of his father like in their first year of being in the Aquabats.
They had insisted on going, despite Eaglebones basically pleading that they didn't, as he was sad and didn't want them to see that.
The logic was that their mother probably, and that was a huge probably, knew where Eagleclaw was.
They pulled into the gravel driveway and walked up to the house, “But what if she doesn't know?” Crash asked, “Well, then we lie about our intentions and just say Eaglebones is fine, then I don't know.” He knocked on the door and waited.
About two minutes passed and the door opened. Now, eaglebones’ mom was a nice lady she just didn't…look nice.
She looked mean, but when she spoke, you instantly knew she was a kind lady trapped under a mean face, “Oh hi, this is…unexpected, won't you come in?” She opened the door fully and allowed them to walk in, “Where's my son?” She asked, as only the four Aquabats walked in.
The commander already had a lie ready, “Oh we um…are just dropping in because we're looking for your other son, but Bones isn't with us today because we went to the professor's and he said he didn't feel good soo….” she nodded and said, “My oldest son is in the living room, he stopped in to visit me, can you believe it?”
She said this as they emerged in the living room to see Eagleclaw, on the couch, sipping tea.
Ricky's hand was clenched into a fist at his side. The commander was the best at de-escalating a situation, “Hello Eagleclaw.” The commander said, a false smile in place on his face.
Eagleclaw smiled at him, “Where's my brother?” He asked innocently, like a child lying about something they thought was funny, but would get in trouble for later. The commander's smile turned more to a clenched jaw, “You know, he felt sick, so he couldn't come.” They all sat down as a unit on the couch.
Eagleclaw was smirking at them before changing his expression to one of concern as his mother walked back in, “Now I think I have to talk to my son alone, so why don't you guys go outside and, I don't know, go out back.”
The Aquabats knew proper etiquette, so they did as they were told and went to the backyard.
They had a swing set from many years ago. It had two swings. So, forgetting the entire situation, they kinda started trying to see who could get to the swings first.
Crash literally picked Ricky up and swung him at the other two, not enough to hurt them, just enough to make them step back.
It was safe to say that they got to go on the swings. The commander pouted, “I wanted to go on the swing.” He whined.
He continued like that for a few minutes before Jimmy had enough, “Commander, we can take this time to discuss the situation, and plan.” The commander groaned, “I hate planning.”
“But he's right, we need a plan. I mean, we have to get the name of the poison out of Eagleclaw.” Said Ricky. Crash stopped swinging for a second and picked up a leaf, contemplating it in his hand for a second, “Jimmy, do you have your knitting needles?” That question caught Jimmy off guard, “Yes, why crash?”
“Cuz if he doesn't willingly tell us, we'll have to force it out of him.” Everyone turned to him, “Well, I'm not letting Eaglebones read to you ever again.” Jimmy said.
They kept bantering for a while until Eagleclaw came out back, a smirk still on his face. He seemed to be holding something in his claws, “Hey fitness, you were always my favorite,” he handed Ricky a vial of bright red liquid, “you make sure he gets fixed, I know he's your friend.”
Then he walked out the back gate and left.
Ricky stared at the vial in his hand, then looked at the others, “Jimmy scan it.” Jimmy used his robot eyes to scan, “That's it.” The commander could barely contain a surprised laugh, “Well, that solved that, let's go.”
Little did they know, Eagleclaw was laughing, his plan falling into order.
