Am I the only person reading the Ruby Redfort series and still having no idea how to pronounce some of the characters names?

Consuela 'Connie' has never really cared for being a good girl. She usually makes her money as a model but lately gigs dried up, so when Cammie leaves Coyote Ugly and Lil seeks one more girl to fill her team, she considers making the leap. Connie meets Rachel after she runs into her trying to get away from a particularly handsy guy the muttered 'Fucking hell' catching Rachel's attention enough she steps between Connie and the man, handing him his ass and walking Connie away, her voice low... Can 'Peaches' really be the new girl, or is Connie destined to fall for the unobtainable? If Rachel is, indeed, unobtainable then why is Connie so drawn to her? Why is Rachel softer with her? Can this really be destiny?
