El clóset es para la ropa

Este relato está dedicado a tres personitas muy especiales para mí, qué con valentía y miedo a la vez han asumido su sexualidad, a pesar de lo q puedan pensar otros, y q orgullosamente enarbolan la bandera de la comunidad LGBT🏳️‍🌈, consientes de lo q valen como personas, y que sus preferencias sexuales no definen quienes son en realidad. A ellas todo mis respetos y apoyo incondicional.

Siempre supe q era diferente. No sé explicar por qué pero era diferente.

Quizás porque en vez de una disléxica Barbie, prefería unos carritos o un balón de fútbol, o quizás porque nunca me gustó usar maquillaje y en en los cumpleaños o en Halloween prefería los disfraces de mis monstruos favoritos a los de estúpidas princesas con las que nunca me identifiqué, o porque para mis 15 años preferí gastar el dinero saliendo con mis amigos a unas estúpidas fotos irreales, q todos verían los primeros días y luego irían a parar a un cajón acumulando polvo.

Podrán algunos tildarme de marimacha, pero nunca me he sentido poco femenina. Si preferí siempre la compañía de los varones a las de las hembras, y es q ellos nunca me rechazaron por ser como era y siempre me han inspirado más confianza.

Tuve mi primer novio a los 12 años, duramos muy poco, y es q solo éramos 2 niños jugando a ser adultos. Vinieron otros después, incluyendo aquel con quién me fui a la cama la primera vez.

Pero una parte de mí se sentía vacía, algo me faltaba. Desde pequeña me llamaban la atención las mujeres, recuerdo muy bien aquella chica q se sentaba a mi lado en la primaria, sus rizos dorados, su mágica sonrisa, su carisma, sus penetrantes ojos grises...todo en ella me encantaba.

Claro está, con 9 años una no está consciente de que significa eso, una no tiene ni idea de que esta asquerosa Zoociedad es capaz de ponerte etiquetas y menospreciarte por la persona a quién amas.

Cuando empecé a crecer un poco más me percaté de cuanto odio se le puede profesar a una persona solo por ser diferente, mi padre, machista patriarcal, decía que si algún día alguno de sus hijos se desviaba, para él dejaba de existir.

La tele y en la escuela nos enseñaban que no se debía discriminar o menospreciar a una persona por su orientación sexual, pero la realidad es otra cosa muy distinta.

Cuando un varón no cumplía con todos los estándares machistas que la sociedad era tildado de marica, y hacían su vida imposible, o si una chica no era lo suficientemente femenina y delicada, entonces era una .... prefiero no decir la palabra.

La iglesia te decía que Dios creó a Adán y a Eva, varón y hembra para formar una familia, y esa es la única familia posible, el resto era pecado y arderían eternamente en el infierno. ¿Cómo un Dios de amor sería capaz de condenar a su creación a una tortura eterna por el simple hecho de cumplir su principal mandamiento: Amaós los unos a los otros?

Cuando entré en el pre, la conocí a ella. Era una chica tímida, muy reservada, siempre andaba sola. Pero tenía una sonrisa que enamoraba tan solo de verla.

Nos asignaron una vez un trabajo de Biología que debíamos hacer en dúo, y el profesor designó q ella fuera mi pareja.

Nos reunimos en su casa esa misma tarde, entre los lentos progresos que hacíamos en el trabajo, comenzábamos a conocernos. Como dos amigas de la infancia nos platicamos casi toda nuestra vida. Ese día no terminamos el trabajo, pero si nació una amistad para toda la vida.

Empezamos a andar juntas para todas partes, y cada vez nos conocíamos mejor. Algo más que una amistad comenzó a nacer en mi interior, sin saber cómo, me había enamorado de mi mejor amiga.

El miedo comenzó a brotar en mi interior, que pensarían mis amistades, mi familia, mis maestros, y más importante aún: ¿Qué pensaría ella?

Así que decidí callarme lo que sentía, pero aquello me estaba comiendo por dentro. Nuestra relación se comenzó a volver algo fría y distante, ya no nos veíamos tanto, dejamos de comentar nuestros estados de WhatsApp, y el dolor me comía por dentro, solo mis sábanas fueron testigos de cuanto llovieron mis ojos en las noches.

Un sábado en la mañana recibí un mensaje de ella:

-Tenemos q hablar, nos vemos en el parq a las 2🙏🏻

No sabía cómo sentirme al respecto y hasta pensé en buscar alguna excusa tonta para no ir. Pero al final decidí hacerlo.

Llegué al parque a la hora acordada. Ella ya estaba ahí, sentada en una banca con las piernas cruzadas con un simple vestido color Esperanza, pero estaba más bella que nunca.

Nos saludamos con un temeroso beso en las mejillas. Y el silencio se apoderó de las dos. No sabíamos que decirnos, hasta que ella, mirándome a los ojos, esos ojos que me desarmaban, me dijo:

-Tengo algo que decirte, quizás no quieras volver a verme nunca más después de esto, pero tengo que decírtelo, no puedo más con esto que siento quemándome en mi interior.

No dije nada en contestación, pero ella retomó la palabra enseguida.

-Soy lesbiana, y me he enamorado loca y perdidamente de ti.

Las piernas se me aflojaron, no podía ser posible aquello que estaba escuchando. Lo que yo sentía era correspondido y la mujer a la que amaba en silencio también sentía lo mismo que yo. Quería decirle tantas cosas pero de mis labios solo salió un -¿¡Queeeé!?

Ella bajó la cabeza y apartando la vista dijo entre susurros y ya con lágrimas en los ojos -Entenderé si ya no quieres volver a verme pe...

No la dejé terminar, tomé su rostro en mis manos y ante todo el mundo, mis labios rozaron los suyos, ella se apartó sorprendida, y antes de que pudiera volver a articular palabra alguna, le dije: -Si, yo también siento lo mismo por ti, el miedo me comía por dentro, no sabía lo q iba a ...

Esta vez fue ella quién no me dejó terminar, nuestros labios volvieron a juntarse y esta vez saltaron fuegos artificiales, las mariposas revolotearon en mi estómago. Jamás había sentido algo tan maravilloso, no me alcanzan las palabras para describir aquella mágica sensación. El primero de muchos, pero sin dudas el que nunca olvidaremos ninguna de las dos.

Cuánta razón tenía mi profesor de Biología, ella sería mi pareja.

Casi todos nuestros amigos nos aceptaron y apoyaron, algunos dejaron hasta de mirarnos cuando pasábamos por los pasillos tomadas de la mano, pero esos no valen la pena ni las líneas que les estoy dedicando.

Su familia nos aceptó sin miramientos, ellos siempre supieron que su hija era diferente. Aún no sé cómo se lo voy a decir a mis padres. Tengo muchísimo miedo, pero sé que tendré que enfrentarlos más temprano que tarde y espero por su bien, que puedan aceptar que su hija pequeña es orgullosamente una miembro de la comunidad LGBT. 🏳️‍🌈
