I forgot to post these yesterday but…

A little while ago, Nomada studio asked me if I wanted to do a poster for their newest game Neva. I had seen Gris a few years ago and thought it was an absolutely gorgeous game. When they showed me the art and the trailer for Neva I was charmed. Unfortunately, for some reason I couldn’t do one poster. I kept having idea and ideas and then more ideas. That’s just how excited I was by the work they showed me. So, rather than doing one polished image I did a bunch of sketches. They picked one, I think mostly to make me happy, but here are some of the others I really liked.

It’s rare that I get excited about a game coming out. But I can’t wait to play this one.

This game reminded me once again that video games are ART. The melancholy beauty expressed in this game is just fabulous. It's a short game but it is full of stunning visuals and breathtaking music so you want to go back and relive some of the game again and again. The gameplay is light-puzzle platform, but the really you're not there for a challenge, you're there because this game is just so damn beautiful and heart warming.
