In the past, Conrad had been an introverted, reserved person, preferring solitude to the chaos of social interaction. But there was something about you that made him want to step outside his comfort zone.

Ever since he met you, he did things that he never knew that he could. He experienced new things, he experienced things from your culture, new hobbies. You made him come out of his shell, and that’s what he absolutely adores about you. You bring out the best in everyone.

It was a beautiful summer evening when Conrad popped the question. He suggested that you and he go to the boardwalk. The boardwalk was one of his favorite places in Cousins, so he decided to take you there.

You both spotted a quiet spot on a bench overlooking the ocean as the sun set, casting a warm golden glow across the horizon. The sounds of crashing waves provided a soothing background.

It was the moment he had been waiting for all evening. He has been wanting to tell you what he really feels. Taking a deep breath, Conrad turned towards you, his voice filled with vulnerability.

"Y/N, there's something I need to confess," Conrad began, his face flushed. "In the past, I've been very introverted, afraid to let people in. But you've made me realize life's too short to hide away”

Your eyes widened with curiosity, encouraging Conrad to continue.

"I've been admiring you from afar, Y/N, for far too long. You just have something about you that draws me in. You just.. you make me feel like a better person," Conrad confessed, his voice laced with sincerity.

Your cheeks flushed, and a smile tugged at the corners of your lips. You nestled closer to him, holding his hands tightly.

"Conrad, you've touched my heart in ways I never thought possible," you replied, your voice filled with warmth. "Thanks for showing me this side of you. I'm glad I got to see you like this.”

As the stars began to twinkle in the darkening sky, Conrad and you sat on the bench, sharing your dreams, fears, and hopes, feeling an extraordinary connection unfold between you two.

Hours later, with the boardwalk now empty and the night growing chilly, Conrad knowing that you had a curfew, he decided to walk you back home just to make sure that you are safe since he also promised your father that he would bring you home safely. He couldn't help but smile as you both strolled through the quiet streets, the significance of your evening not lost on either of you both.

At your doorstep, Conrad gently pulled you into his embrace, holding you close. You gazed into each other's eyes, your unspoken feelings filling the air.

"Thank you, Y/N, for giving me a chance, for letting me do it in your traditional way, for letting me court you. I’m.. really happy," Conrad whispered, his voice filled with gratitude.

Your fingers traced his cheek, a soft smile gracing your lips. "Ofcourse, Connie. I am thankful too, because you opened your heart to me.”

And as you both leaned in for your first tender kiss, you bith knew that your confession of love at the boardwalk was the beginning of a beautiful love story that would weather any storm and stand the test of time.

Sweaty bodies, the dizzying aroma of alcohol and a pounding remix of trending tiktok audios. It was nothing more or less than an infamous college party.

As a studious individual, I never usually partake in such fickle activities until my best friend Angelina begged me to go the night before as pay back from eating her last packet of instant noodles, what can I say, it was 2am and the hunger hit different!

Aside that as she was partying it up with some ran-do named Allen, Alex? - I didn't catch his name. I was standing in a corner to avoid the excessive grinding of drunken kids, unbeknownst to me a pair of sapphirical diamonds, piercing deeper than a lustful cesspool was the gleaming and most respectful eyes of you guessed it Conrad Fisher. The most sought out guy in college.

Lost in thought, I was quite rudely bumped into a deeply intertwined couple was making their way upstairs to conduct more "business." My legs entangled before me, I tripped and fell into the arms of the infamous fuckboy Jason.

"You don't have to hurt yourself to get my attention"

I quietly revolt in my mouth, who does this guy think he is?'

"Thank you, I was just leaving." I mumble.

"Leaving y/n darling, already? The party just started, why don't you be a good girl and lead the way upstairs." He whispers with fake innocence.

I could not believe he thought I would give my virginity to him, a guy who had the ego of the president but the looks of a furless moleskin rat!

Disgusted, I visibly grimace and attempt to break free of his grasp, before I could do so his hands began sliding its way up my thigh and his hand around my waist tightening ever so slightly. I am frightened, is this really happening?

"Jason!" called a distant figure who's silhouette was only visible to me.

Jason's breathing quickens with his distraughtful presence still looming over me, an air of vindicative energy fills the room.

"Leave her alone, she obviously doesn't want to fuck you or be seen 10 feet within you so leave her the fuck alone before I punch you shitless."

Gob-smacked by this behaviour, you rustle out of Jason's arm's to be met by the warm embrace of the one and only Conrad. Your heart pangs a little as he grips you assuredly.

"Look at me, are you ok? He exclaims.

You begin to speak before-

"I swear to God, just wait until I get my hands on him, hurting a sweet pretty thing like you."

"Conrad! I'm fine - thank you."

"Sorry for overreacting, do you want me to walk you to your apartment for safety y/n" He looks intimately in your eyes as he hopefully awaits a response.

"Yes sure, please. I don't want to have another encounter at a party again!"

"Tell me about it, all guys want these days is sex." You feel relieved that Conrad isn't a misogynistic brat though that's just the bare minmum. You engage in a meaningful conversation on the way home, talking about various topics before your arrive at your front door step.

"Thanks Conrad, it really means a lot to me that you care."

"No problem, I'm here if you need me y/n."

"Wait, how do you know my name, we've never formally met before."

"Lets just say a girl like you no matter the name is unforgettable." He offers a quick smile before muttering goodnight and leaving. As if in a delirious state you clutch your chest and make your way to your bed only to dream about the night you just had and the wildest possibilities of you and Conrad.

Thanks so much for reading! This is my first fic so go easy on me lol but honestly I had to feed you girlies as season 2 has come to a close and conrad fics are slowly disappearing. What are your thoughts on the carnival scene both in the book and the show? Was Conrad really interested in the girl from the ring toss or do you think his sole purpose was winning Belly Junior Mint?

There is this weird dynamic between them where they kind of assume that the other knows how they feel because they do have a great understanding between them but that's where the problems arise because they put too much weight on the silent understanding between them & forget to communicate their actual feelings. I think he thought she fully understood the significance of the original Junior Mint moment (and she clearly DID kind of get it bc she held onto Junior Mint all this time and the bear was really important to her, and everybody knows/recognizes how much she loves Junior Mint, although it's heavily implied at least to me that no one else actually knows how she got him or what he REALLY means).

My book girlies know this, but it comes to light in Conrad's letters that not only does he vividly remember the day he won her the bear, but he also spent $40 (at like 14 years old!!!) trying to win her the bear because he paid attention to her all summer and saw that she badly wanted it and had been eyeing it all summer (he actually says "remember how you used to go over to the ring toss and just stare at the polar bears?"). I think he got confused when Belly got all standoffish about it but also didn't know what to do about his feelings at that point in time (which is why he said that the girl said Junior Mint was the best prize they had. it was easier & less vulnerable than saying "I think I might have romantic feelings for you too and I just spent hours trying to win this for you because I know how much you wanted it and I wanted you to spend time with you") so he didn't try to explain it to Belly & ended up hanging out with ring toss girl that summer as a distraction in a way. But then the present scene...he wanted to remind her of that memory and he wanted her to know he remembered it and that it mattered to him & he wanted her to know he still thinks about her and loves her and wants her back. And Belly is in the mindset she was in in the 2nd book where she still loves him but doesn't want to & is tempted to go back to him but feels like she has to prove a point to herself and everyone else that she is over him and doesn't need him. I also think she spent so long being in love with him with everyone knowing & teasing her about it and it made her feel like it was the child like and immature thing to be with him, so she wants to show that she has "outgrown" him, and she's not a dumb 13 year old kid with a crush anymore.

I think Conrad probably did think the ring toss girl was cute, he was a 14 year old boy so you can't really fault him for being a little interested in her and hanging out with her, and also Belly got upset and he probably didn't understand that he had inadvertently hurt her feelings. He wanted to win her the bear he knew she had been wanting and make her happy, and it backfired (Which probably fed his anxiety and feelings of not being worthy and always fucking up and disappointing people but especially Belly). I think that moment would have been different if Belly had stayed there while he was trying to win her the bear- she made an assumption to start out and ran away without ever actually knowing what really happened (kind of like the prom moment). I think the fact that Conrad still remembered and thought about winning her Junior Mint even 8-9 years later kind of says it all. And the way he boops Junior Mint in the show in season 1...that man knows it was never about the ring toss girl.

Also it just occurred to me that maybe he had spent time noticing the ring toss girl because he had already spent a lot of time noticing Belly go to the ring toss and staring at the polar bears and also maybe he had already spent time trying to win Belly the bear during that summer. ok I'm gonna go cry because that makes it SO MUCH SWEETER.

I honestly just CAN NOT believe the nerve of Conrad girlies (like for real). Why ruin something for someone else? Why crap on everything? Conrad girlies literally CAN NOT (and I mean are incapable) of keeping their thoughts and comments to themselves. Like... us Jeremiah girlies CAN NOT enjoy ourselves at all because the Bonrad fandom have to stay mad because Bonrad didn't happen. Like, how is that OUR fault. You've read the books. You knew how it ended. So why act surprised at the fact that Jeremiah and Belly ended up together? And to keep saying that Conrad is the better brother AFTER the last two episodes. JUST BAFFLES ME FR. Jeremiah literally the whole time is low-key being skeptical of Belly and making sure she is sure about him before he falls for her again. SHE initiated the kiss in episode 7. NOT JEREMIAH. Jeremiah literally tried his best to fight it but could not contain himself any longer because HE LOVES BELLY! And let's not forget what a JERK Conrad was being to Belly and Jeremiah in episode 8. He was literally out of line (multiple times). And then Conrad girlies wanna bring up, "Just wait till s3" AND????.... Do you Bonrad girls not realize that there is a WRITER'S STRIKE!!! Who knows when season 3 will come out. Could be three years from now! AND you wanna know what I GET TIRED OF HEARING ABOUT??? The cheating excuse. FIRST OF ALL BABES: JERE DID NOT CHEAT!! HIM AND BELLY WERE BROKEN UP!!!! SHE SAID IT HERSELF!!! Does that excuse what he did? NO. What he did wasn't right. But what Conrad did to Belly wasn't right either. Ex: Breaking up with her at prom, saying he "never wanted her" and then taking it back AFTER finding out about Jere and Belly, ruining his brother's wedding by confessing his feelings for his brothers wife-to-be the night BEFORE her wedding (when he could have told her at the motel), forgetting her corsage, telling her to, "grow up" (his fav insult). I could go on and on. JERE "CHEATED". Wow. One thing. Amongst all the other things Conrad did to her. AND can we just talk about how Belly was preaching to Jere about honesty when in actuality she went to Cousins and saw Conrad and when Jere called her on the way home, she DIDN'T tell him where she was coming from. NOT TELLING IS THE SAME AS LYING!!! I just find it funny how EVERYONE hates on JEREMIAH FISHER when he is NO CAP the BEST TSITP CHARACTER!!!! NO arguments there! Well.... Take some advice from a grizzled old shipper, Bonrad girlies: it’s going to be ok. I’ve shipped a lot of couples and they’ve all been endgame. (Ok maybe there was one that wasn’t but it’s kind of ambiguous thanks to a death. This is why I don’t watch stupid zombie shows anymore). Anyway…

First, there’s the books. Yes, there have been rumblings of not following the book ending, but with the exception of a few tweaks, the major plot points have all followed the books. It’s a 3 book, 3 season story and we’re only 2/3 of the way through. (Also, there are some quotes floating around where the cast talks about how season 3 will follow the books). Jenny saying she could choose to not follow the books was a ploy to keep people invested, thinking they have to watch in case she does change it. She said the same thing during To All the Boys movie promos and Lara Jean and Peter were still endgame. John Ambrose McWho?

But even if the books weren’t a factor, the past two seasons have been very heavy handed with the signs that Belly and Conrad are endgame. Even in a season that’s supposed to be Jere’s or episodes that’s supposed to be his, the unresolved feelings between Belly and Conrad are front and center. They’re infinite and the show isn’t letting us forget it. (This is a common storytelling mechanism with love triangles. It’s never about the 3rd person in the triangle. Look at Jim and Pam and Karen or Roy, or Nick and Jess and Sam or Reagan. The main ship and how these other relationships affect it are always the focus). I saw a tiktok comment that said “Jere is the rebound,” and that makes total sense. He’s the in between while Belly and Conrad figure their shit out. Belly needs to mature and figure herself out, have a few adventures before she can be with the one and Conrad needs to deal with his mental health surrounding his mother’s death and everything with his father. They’ll grow and change apart to be stronger together one day.

And purely from a storytelling standpoint it just makes sense. It is becoming clearer each week that this season will end with Belly and Jere together. And then what happens in season 3? Them just happily planning a wedding isn’t good TV. Season 3 needs drama and it’ll be the downfall of the relationship and Belly realizing she’ll never get over Conrad.

We’ve got this. Now we just need the studios to give the actors and writers what they want so we can season 3 made and aired so we can all find our zen.

oh boy this is a loaded question 😂 i am purely a watcher of the show, i have not read the books — and honestly, jenny han has literally said that the show is how she would write the story today vs over ten years ago when the books came out, so take with that what you will (also here's jelly vs bonrad)

i want to start this off by just saying i don't HATE jeremiah (i know i say that i do a lot but that's mostly just me being funny and i won't apologize for that 💅🏼) and while i honestly don't like him right now, i don't think he's a bad person and lbr all of these characters could benefit from some self-improvement via therapy. i'm also going to refrain from labeling any characters/relationships as "toxic" or "abusive" because frankly i think people (usually tiktok girlies that are clearly chronically online) overuse and misuse the term so that it's lost all meaning, and i'm not a psychiatrist 🤷🏻‍♀️ this is simply my interpretation and analysis of a tv show that i enjoy watching

if you love jeremiah, all power to ya!! i'm not going to tell you that you need "professional help" or to "reevaluate yourself" (like some people love to tell random strangers on the internet). these are fictional characters — they are quite literally not real and if you like some, cool. if you don't like some, cool. if you disagree with my interpretations, cool!! i genuinely do not care as long as you mind your business and stay in your lane

i'm going to say right off the bat that the biggest reason i prefer conrad is simply that i gravitate towards that kind of character, i don't know why but it's just a common theme among my faves

going into season two, i was/am team conrad but i honestly loved jeremiah!! that quickly changed and honestly when i rewatched season one, i saw the same behaviors and didn't like him as much. also, none of my criticism of jeremiah is meant to say that conrad is perfect and has never done anything wrong (even though he IS perfect and has NEVER done anything wrong 😜)

most of the issues i have with jeremiah all come back to one thing: his feelings of inadequacy and jealousy when it comes to conrad

manipulative: when he sees belly and conrad about to kiss, he sabotages it with the fireworks, then tries to play it off as an accident and like he didn't see them when conrad mentions it. at this point, he knows that belly has always had a crush on conrad but now he knows to a degree that it's reciprocated. he then proceeds to go out of his way to sabotage them, like when he goes to nicole and gets her to invite conrad to that music festival (which, also not cool to play nicole like that), though i will admit that conrad self-sabotaging ruining things with belly had nothing to do with jeremiah

guilt-tripping: this sort of goes hand-in-hand with being manipulative. on MULTIPLE occasions, he purposefully makes belly feel uncomfortable and guilty for simply being happy with conrad. some examples:

thanksgiving — she drops conrad's hand after jere stares at them from across the table, they separate and she intentionally steps away from conrad when jere walks into the room, he tells conrad to "warn him" when belly is literally just going to be there

road trip to brown — he is passive aggressive in the car ("we don't talk about you"), he gives her the biggest eye roll/side-eye when trusky mentions conrad being depressed over the break up, he makes her feel terrible about "not being there for him" even though he was literally the one ignoring her when she said she had been reaching out multiple times. i understand that they are best friends and he was also struggling, there's no doubt about that, but she is ONE PERSON (who is also struggling, mind you) and OF COURSE she is going to be there for her BOYFRIEND

everything since then — multiple times throughout the rest of the season, he gives belly dirty looks any time she merely breathes in the direction of conrad, he interrupts them anytime they're talking (like in the party store) with a nasty look/tone, he goes to belly after her fight with laurel to be "supportive" and then shuts her down when she tries to talk about her feelings simply because she brings up conrad (which was very relevant to the conversation so like??), he gives belly a dirty look when conrad GIVES HER A SWEATSHIRT BECAUSE SHE WAS CHILLY. she is immediately uncomfortable and self-conscious of her actions every single time, even when SHE'S NOT EVEN DATING CONRAD ANYMORE and none of the interactions were explicitly "romantic"

playing the victim: again, goes hand-in-hand with my previous points. not only did he know that belly has always had a crush on conrad, but he literally watched them almost kiss. then the next night, he tells belly he likes her and they kiss. then when she later tells him that she kissed conrad, he acts like he had no idea that she liked conrad and was completely deceived (this is not me saying that belly didn't do him dirty — she did!! and i DO truly feel bad for him, but they weren't dating and he knew full well that she was rejected by conrad immediately before they proceeded to get together) and throws the fact that his "mom has cancer" in her face to make her feel like a bad person. i get that he was upset, rightfully so, but that was still messed up. conrad also did NOTHING WRONG here!! he had no idea that jeremiah liked belly or that they kissed when he kissed her, was not angry when belly told him about kissing jere, asked her who she wanted to be with, and then respected her decision to not date in order to spare jere's feelings. jeremiah acting all pissy towards conrad was not deserved. i understand him being annoyed when conrad asked him for his blessing, but if he truly cared about them, he would want them to be happy together instead of spending the next few months pouting and ignoring them

jealousy: all of this comes back to the fact that he is extremely jealous of conrad. having an older sister, i get it — i sympathize with always being compared, feeling like they're better at everything, and trying to live up to that. he feels like conrad is better at everything and is everyone's first choice (which... he is 😬) but like... that's a YOU problem. conrad didn't do anything to him!!

the conrad of it all: he constantly talks shit about conrad and doesn't even try to understand where he's coming from, which i understand to an extent because he is justifiably hurt, but calling conrad the selfish one is literally LAUGHABLE. even though he may have been misguided, everything conrad did was to try to protect jeremiah from pain. he has had an immense amount of pressure put on him by his father (and others) to be the perfect one that is always looking out for and protecting the younger ones. he suffered in silence for months after finding out about susannah's cancer/adam cheating, both to give susannah the last perfect summer she wanted and to protect jere from everything. same thing with the house — he thought that he could handle it by himself and that it would be protecting the rest of them to do it by himself. he had to deal with all of the guilt of not being able to be there for susannah as much as he wanted because of college, and he literally had a panic attack at the thought of leaving jeremiah to go to stanford. jeremiah constantly bringing up that belly and conrad broke up (when it's none of his damn business and he even admitted he didn't know what happened between them) ESPECIALLY in regard to conrad not being around when susannah was sick because HE WAS AT SCHOOL and "always with belly" is so fucked up. everyone was struggling and doing their best, including jeremiah, and that was just not cool. belly's actions ("not being there for jeremiah") are not conrad's fault.

because of his jealousy towards literally every single thing conrad says or does, he doesn't care that belly makes conrad happy (and vice versa), he gives absolutely zero consideration to conrad's feelings when deciding to go after belly (also neither does belly but that's a whole other post). conrad has now apologized to both belly and jeremiah on multiple occasions and started doing some serious self-reflection. jeremiah has not apologized ONCE for the shit he’s said and done.

yes, absolutely! and oh, i have sooo many questions about the whole brothers bond thing in this show. jeremiah and conrad just had this conversation, they agreed to talk and less than 24 hours later this happens. i don't have any logical explanation to whatever happened when they were waiting for conrad, i don't even want to try to explain this, it's just a mess. it's just so sad when you realise that no matter which couple is going to be endgame any remaining connection between two brothers is ruined. and it's really poor that jenny han is not focusing on that aspect of love triangle because she received a lot of criticism from book readers for that. i was really hoping that the show would dive into hesitations of both conrad and jeremiah because i do think that they care about each other deeply, but we have what we have, unfortunately. at this point realistically it would be better for everyone if they all go separate ways because they're so messy. and i'm not saying that just because that season is going to end with bellyjere, i'm saying this because i feel like as teenagers they don't realise consequences of their actions. and i hope that maybe in season three we would see how jere is struggling because conrad is basically isolated or how belly is blaming herself for ruining brothers bond. it's really important to show that because some people tend to romanticise being in love triangle with two brothers (hello tvd i'm looking at you), but if you look at the bigger picture you realise what a mess this is. yeah, sorry, i think you lost me cause this turned into a rant about fisher borthers

okay so it’s been two years since my reanimator special interest started so i’m gonna try to put into words what these movies mean to me. this is the most cringe i’m probably ever getting on this account so. point and laugh while you can

so reanimator didnt become a special interest the first time i watched it. i think it was my 3rd or 4th viewing when it just. clicked in my brain. idk. it was the last day of school for me in 2021 and i decided to watch them that night 2 celebrate because i had been wanting to give them a rewatch 4 a while and that was the start of my brainrot. not sure what about that watch caused my brain to latch onto them so much (my theory atm is it was the first time I watched them not during like an all nighter/at 4-5 am) but it has been my favorite thing in the world ever since. i’ve never had a movie mean more to me (the closest a movie has come to it is repo the genetic opera. which i was actually still fixated on when i gave reanimator a rewatch and reanimator is what ended that fixation lol) anyways. reanimator was and still is my best friend 4ever. i watched it every single day that summer. i still watch it at absolute minimum 1-2 times a month to this day but usually more. herbert west is my fav character ever. reanimator has gotten me through so much shit i don’t care that it sounds cringe it has gotten me through trials and tribulations. herbert and dan are my best friends. herbert west is very important to me because he is asexual and autistic just like myself but he is also an evil bitch and silly which is very important. my love 4 reanimator made me wanna watch frankenstein. which i did along with dracula in a movie theater double feature which led to me falling down the uni monsters rabbit hole. which led to me watching the 1925 phantom of the opera. which led to silent film fixation hell and getting into conrad veidt. that’s right party people, reanimator indirectly led to my conrad veidt special interest. reanimator is my biggest comfort film. it never fails 2 cheer me up when i’m sad or upset. i go back and fourth between if i like the first one or bride better because they’re both just so good. i think these movies were made with me in mind and 4 the autistic horror girlies specifically. they’re so silly bonkers camp (i love you way too red fake blood and funny green glow stick syringe) but they’re also just really good movies. i literally cannot even begin to put into words how much i fucking love reanimator it is my favorite thing ever. herbert west is my best friend. every time i see anything reanimator related it makes me joyful beyond words. these movies genuinely changed my life and i never have been more fixated on a movie and I don’t think I ever will. live laugh reanimator

I feel like the books have been very consistent with belly’s feelings in the show. She’s been back and forth like a yoyo, it was conrad all summer, then jere for like a week, then conrad for a year, now jere for a week again. It would make complete sense that her feelings continue in this way.

gonna try to explain all my feelings after watching ep 5 of the second season of tsitp stay w me...

so okay first of all i am a jeremiah girlie from day one but i have to say that man can NOT narrate in a compelling way to save his life... and all the close ups of him staring at people silently with the voice over in the background... giving demonic miley

but ANYWAYS onto the actual like... drama?

FIRST OF ALL am i the only one who remembers conrad telling belly that jeremiah seemed to "be okay" and that he "moved on" and "was dating people" ???????????? WHERE LMAO he clearly was pissed off and if you maybe would have cared enough to visit more than once and actually have a conversation with him instead of just asking if it was okay to date the girl he loved and then fleeing out of there you would have noticed?

like actually that's the part i hate the most about the show. these two teenagers were in the process of losing their mom and decided that it would be a good idea to just fuck it all up between each other and with their closest friends for shits and giggles?? and no adult had anything to say about it? they even supported it? and everyone around them was silently letting them ruin their relationship for a teenage romance??? kay????? jeremiah literally threw a fucking firework like super close to conrad and belly's heads PLEASE IS THERE ANY ADULT IN THE ROOM RN????

because like, i get crushing on the same girl. i get it you're teenagers hormones or whatever. but what person would actually like care so little about their siblings to SEE how heartbroken they are and still persue a relationship with their love interest? and not only that but also lie about how said sibling feels so the relationship can happen (since the love interest didn't want to hurt them so they were keeping their distance) and then be all lovey with said love interest in front of their sibling and act all shocked when the sibling tries and set boundaries???? you're in college bitch time to grow up!!!! you're dating a 16 yo that your brother is in love with you weirdogo listen to olivia rodrigo she says it all

but anyways that being said let me tell you that i was trying to actually like remember how much screentime conrad and belly had as an actual like pairing. not belly pining after him and him acting all moody and disgusting (= the entire first season) but actual content about the two of them forming a bond and strenghtening it. there's none of that. first few episodes we see belly with cam cameron and jeremiah and like maybe 2 minutes of interactions with conrad, and the last few ones he finally decides that she actually exists but still fucks up every single time.

and then in the second season we get their whole like weird romance during the year where he (18 yo college man) goes to her (16 yo) house and takes her away (without her mother's permission) to the beach where they proceed to have sex :) so fun! (at this point i'm BEGGING for some adult supervision) and he treats her like shit the rest of the time and acts like being with her is a burden and i KNOW his mom was dying but then just break up??? she's not your punching bag??? and then she acts SO OUT OF PLACE at the funeral they are so toxic it's infuriating!!!!!!!!!

meanwhile we see jeremiah being there for her again and again and giving her the teenage romance she (16 yo!!!!!!!!!!!) deserves and being happy and making her happy and all she does is hurt him like did you REALLY need to break up with him the same night he FOUND OUT HIS MOM HAD CANCER AND WAS DYING? and not only that but tell him you CHEATED ON HIM WITH HIS BROTHER????? (who was also unaware of their relationship)

but then after all of this jeremiah still tries to move on and steps up for his family because his older brother was too busy stuck in his own head and fucking a minor to actually care about his dying mother and his teenage brother and would only appear when he wanted to i guess hurt his brother even more by shoving his relationship with belly on his face????

and jeremiah still goes and looks for him when he decides that the best thing he can do after showing clear signs of depression is disappearing months after their mom died without giving his brother a clue or at least letting him know he's safe

so now jeremiah has to face not only his shitty brother but also the girl who broke his heart and she has the neeeeeeeeeeerve to try and start things with him ONCE AGAIN????? AND ACT SHOCKED WHEN HE TURNS HER DOWN?????????????????????
