so like “my starry sky” has hardly been talked abt. its a webtoon on lezhin and its revolved around misunderstandings. its crazy like woah. its only on chapter 19 and i feel that we need a discussion on it.

so, its basically abt the main character, yeonduk, getting treated like shit by his childhood friend, skylar. yeonduk is basically in between skylar and his mom. skylars mom (we’re gonna use “skylars mom” or sm to refer to her bc i lowkey cant remember her name) is a piece of shit i hope she kills herself. anway, shes the cause of this whole misunderstanding between them. she basically thinks skylars a piece of shit dude and that he ruined her life, so shes been using yeonduk to basically snitch on him to her. n yeonduk always tells her that nothings wrong w him, but she just thinks hes doing everything wrong. n to make yeonduk do things for her, she basically brings up on how shes been helping his family finacially, which is such a low blow like wtf. anyway, she tends throw a lot of skylars shit out n has yeonduk take them (n the things she throws out all of importance to the dude). she then tells skylar when he finds out an item is missing is that yeonduk wanted to have it n that he doesnt deserve them. so now skylar thinks yeonduk is stealing from him and only using him for the money and “rewards” for snitching on him when he never did that. theres other things going on, recently skylar was using yeonduk as a cover n shit n just manipulated yeonduk into thinking they were friends again, but yd found out abt it n has been realizing that maybe they were never friends to begin with. which is just furthering him into a depressing state.

during this time tho, yeonduk meets his first friend in highschool, n i love him. i dont remember his name but hes cloud boy (i dont think we’ve even been told) anyway cloud boy isnt in it much but i think hes gonna be more in now yesss. (fuck the whole childhood friend shit n go fuck cloud dude yeonduk)

so lets discuss chapter 19. i honestly dont rlly unnderstand. yeonduk is basically getting beaten up n shit by this ugly fuck bc he thinks yd is gay. n personally what i think is happening is while yeonduk is being beaten up by ugly fuck is that he imaging that skylar saves him or smth. pretty much trying to escape the reality of what happening to him. its honestly a little confusing bc of how the panels are.

like u dont rlly get it n i dont think were gonna know for sure until the next chapter.

anyway fuck skylar x yeonduk,, iss all abt cloud boi x yeonduk.

my theory is that cloud boy is going to help yeonduk get through bullying and just be a major support to him. and hopefully become a a love interest. idk hows its gonna work out btw anyone else tbh. oh yeah theres refences to cute ass poems too, it makes my heart burn.

my rating so far is 8/10. the story n the characters are rlly good, theres so much depth to them n their emotions. the art is beautiful too, i love it.
