never having experienced it myself I can only guess at the infatuation of the honeymoon stage extending such that you find merely brushing your teeth together charming but you simply cannot be pulling those shenanigans in a four bed one bath apartment. go giggle somewhere else i have to pee
#there is one couple in my house who i am mad at about this but will forgive them bc honeymoon stage#but the other couple who has been together 3.5 years where the non-resident OWNS HER CONDO???? oh we are in full rage mode#fully 90% of my awake time after about 10:30pm is standing in the kitchen waiting for the bathroom to be free#I guess because I am a) polite b) a morning shower girl and c) a former summer overnight camp attendee#I would never dream of taking more than 10 minutes to do ANYTHING in a shared bathroom#and yet. some people are out here giggle brushing or whatever the fuck for sixteen minutes and counting#rare pic of me in the wild

when we were little we had a game where hitting the other person with the beam of a flashlight made them 'fall asleep', and our fake sleep sound of choice was "ka-sleep! ka-sleep!"
I remember playing at nana's, in the room with the tv and the old yellow armchair we didn't keep.
#I suppose it was technically the front room as it was closest to the actual front door#but the garage and little yard were on the opposite end of her condo#so I always thought of it as the back of the house#since we always came through the garage#and that entrance was garage -> yard -> living/dining room with the kitchen off to the side#then her bedroom the bathroom and the tv room in the back#with the little fancy shaped soaps that no one ever used
