so this old man did a little outdoor patio garden concert at my park today and it was a really nice day so he kept reiterating how fun and happy he had made his set to match the weather. at a certain point he said “i’m gonna do some joni now :)” and i’m like “all right, sure” mentally running through all the songs he might potentially pull out and, i kid you not, this man starts singing fucking A CASE OF YOU.

speaking of world is ugly some dude near me when they walked off stage after mama was like 'oh they haven't finished because they haven't played world is ugly yet' and then when they didn't play it for encore he was like 'this is bullshit!' and i don't know if it's because he really wanted the world is ugly or because he clearly looked up the previous night's setlist ahead of time (he was one of those people who was there for the hits. u know) but i almost laughed out loud like sorry buddy this band is a wildcard you get what you get and then you say thank you mcr i love you mcr
