Artair holds the letter in his hands and squints at it, trying to read the micro-sized fine print. This seems--- weird. But he could see the costumes being fun, if not for the weirdly ominous extra bit near the bottom. That seemed....very much like this was more than just a costume? How could a costume give you duress? Something more was up here. And it's not like he celebrated Halloween anymore. For the most part anyways.

Still, morbid curiosity has him. He glances over the list just to see what had been picked for him. His eyes linger on the last one, and a frown curves along his face, but then he shakes his head. It was just a costume. They couldn't know, could they? Still it twists in his chest.

A second glance over the list has him pause. "Medusa? Like-- a gorgon?" He mutters, mostly to himself in thought.

The letter warms under his hand, and he can feel the vibration of magic start soaking into the air, with this thing in his hands as the origin. "--- wait a second---."

So last year I went to Lodi comic con it was super fun and I met a lot of cool people there, I was also cosplaying as Scott Pillgrim. Here are some awesome picture's from that con. Oh also I got third place in the cosplay contest so that was pretty awesome.
