“ ¡actriz!
' no soy cantante, buen intento. '

Kinda really wanna go to this Legends of Tomorrow con in November in Birmingham but it's a different kind of thing, where the entry is much more expensive but it's for the whole weekend and includes panels, autographs, contests, etc. Which could be great! - if I had anyone to go with. I don't guess I'd have much fun at dinners and parties and stuff by myself. Wish I knew anyone around who I could go with. Mr Bear hates crowds and queuing and cons aren't his thing, and I don't think any of my friends who watched Legends are really available or close by.
Most of the time my social isolation doesn't super bother me, and online stuff is enough to keep me ok, but sometimes it really sucks.
#personal#random#cons#social isolation#they've got an impressive chunk of the cast coming#including Tala Ashe who played Zari who I really loved#plus she's so pretty 😳

As requested, I started my list of fave female/female-presenting Legends. I made it halfway and then I got stuck because it’s literally impossible so maybe I’ll do the second half later.
1. Zari Tomaz
Pros: She is literally everything. EVERYTHING.
Cons: I hate that in the end they basically just made her an extension of Nate. As much as I loved having her come back in seasons 6 and 7, it would have been better to let her go out on her own terms in the season 5 finale after kissing Charlie.
2. Charlie
Pros: Hands down my favorite character to write. The complexity, the layers of trauma, the love she has for all of the other Legends... what a beautiful character.
Cons: Shapeshifted into John Constantine to have an orgy. It is literally criminal to hide Maisie's face like that.
3. Astra Logue
Pros: Also amazing to write. She's the embodiment of one of my favorite tropes, the "I don't know how to human" one, but she's so snarky about it. Unafraid to tell everyone else exactly how dumb they're being, which they need constantly. Incredible amount of character growth in 2.5 seasons.
Cons: Should never have gotten into a relationship with Behrad. They're not compatible. They're not going to make it long term. But Astra is never going to be able to dump Behrad because he is the whole team's little brother and everybody loves him, so she will automatically be the bad guy and lose everything (at least in her slightly skewed assessment of things). One of the very few positives about the show being canceled is that we didn't have to see her get smaller and smaller in service of a male character.
4. Zari Tarazi
Pros: The fact that they got rid of my favorite character and replaced her with someone I love almost as much is insane. Completely insane. I love how much hidden depth she has. She's also one of the funniest characters on the show and, empirically speaking, very hot.
Cons: The absolute worst taste in men of any person ever. I absolutely loathed having to watch her get lied to for an entire season and for what?
5. Gideon
Pros: She's always been a great part of the show, but season 7 was just magnificent. I love her so much. Where would the show be without her? Nowhere, that's where.
Cons: I'm never going to completely forgive her for time looping Zari 1.0. She's been through some shit and you want to just traumatize her more for fun? Nope. Not okay.
6. Amaya Jiwe
Pros: I started watching the show with season 2, so she had to be my original fave. She was also my first time experiencing Maisie Richardson-Sellers and one does not just recover from that. She had hands-down the best powers on the show and was just radiant. And a bitch. And a fucking pirate. And Princess Leia. I rest my case.
Cons: Basically the cons for everyone on this list are annoying heterosexual relationships. Her story was so much bigger than Nate and they should have let that happen.

okay listen i was talking to ki about constantine in legends and we ended up on "zari and behrad and astra but in constantine" and let me tell you. this idea is delicious
astra kind of already has a set plot we can come back to her if we'd like bc i, tumblr user zaritarazi, would, surprisingly, love to talk about the idea of zari & behrad tarazi and how they would fit and act in this universe instead of the legends one
now you're going to have to walk with me a bit because i am, for all intents and purposes, kind of hot glueing parts of dc magic canon together- in fairness, this is also what dc comics does and i am objectively more valid- so we have black adam who never actually shows up in this imagined second? third? season of nbc's constantine, he's allowed to be bi in this one, but basically zari and behrad are minor characters that flit in and out to be like hey. just a reminder there's way bigger things out there and some of them, at some point, will be either your fault or your problem. also did you kill doctor fate you stupid fuck
so like in my head zari is a mix of comics canon, archeology adjacent, very heavily zari tarazi, outside presentation of a very bubbly socialite (THIS IS A TRICK) actual personality of like, extraordinarily clever, too sharp-witted, cares about humanity, but also feels very detached from it by this point. and she's aware of that and she's not thrilled about it. she and john have a deeply antagonistic relationship, and she's right, they flirt constantly and only through negging.
essentially both consider the other a con-person and a professional liar and King or Queen Not to Be Trusted, any time john's flirting gets too friendly zari threatens to tell teth-adam and any time she does that john asks her why he's never actually around (this is a complicated plot point i haven't decided on. i'm writing an imaginary third? season of a show that didn't get a second. bear with me)
actually everyone shut up i'm a genius bc felix faust is a big antagonizer of black adam and john constantine, had a super gross plot when he brought adrianna back to life that we will not be using, but he is a common enemy even though john kills him once or twice a season. bringing the tarazis in as signifiers of the far-off black adam circling in the distance bc john can't kill faust well enough is like... kind of brilliant of me, actually,
also zari is very very good at getting rare items, either because she's rich or very charming or both. i don't think she's a celebrity in this one, i think the tarazis are just rich, not sure how or why, roll with it, but she's a very good finder of things, and also she can still talk to dragons. this is mentioned once and never explained
okay this post went on way longer for zari than i expected- i'm sure you knew this would be the case but you know me better than i know myself- behrad but in nbc's constantine, he's allowed to be bi in this one, post to follow at some point soon
#lot headcanon#zari tarazi#john constantine#hellstar#legends of tomorrow#but actually not entirely! it both is and isn't. she's there more as a member of the dark marvel family! she is very much taken!#but sometimes... cheating is good#constantine headcanon#dark marvel family#black adam#behrad tarazi#dark marvels but it's nbc's constantine au. working title#long post#constantine verse au

Pronombres: ella/suya.
Edad: 29 años.
Trigger warnings: cualquier tipo de abuso, discriminación, u odio/intolerancia.
Faceclaim reservado: dove cameron.
DETALLES DEL PERFIL.
Nombre completo: zari nash.
País de residencia: los ángeles, estados unidos.
Edad y fecha de nacimiento: 15 de febrero de 1996. 28 años.
Pronombres: ella/suya.

We Are Who We Are
The Comfort of Cotton Sarees vs. the Luxury of Silk Sarees: Choosing the Right Fabric
The saree has been a cherished attire in India for many years, symbolising tradition, sophistication, and cultural importance. When selecting a saree, the main thing to think about is the fabric. Cotton and silk are two fabrics that are highly favoured, with both with their own sets of pros and cons. This blog will explore the characteristics of cotton sarees and silk sarees, helping you pick the ideal fabric for your requirements.
The Allure of Cotton Sarees
Cotton sarees are highly appreciated for their ability to allow air flow and provide comfort. They are perfect for daily use, particularly in the sweltering heat of summer. The excellent air circulation provided by the natural fibres of cotton keeps you cool and fresh all day long.
Benefits of Wearing Cotton Sarees:
Comfort: Cotton is a gentle, lightweight material that softly falls on the skin. It is especially appropriate for individuals with sensitive skin, as it is hypoallergenic and mild.
Variety: Cotton sarees usually come in a range of designs, colours, and patterns. There is a cotton saree to match every preference and event, from the light and airy Bengal cotton to the colourful Kanjeevaram cotton sarees.
Cost: Cotton sarees are typically cheaper than silk sarees. This makes them an affordable option, particularly for those new to wearing sarees or those wanting a diverse collection in their wardrobe.
Famous varieties of cotton sarees:
Mulmul cotton sarees: Famous for their fine weave and see-through texture, these sarees are perfect for summer outfits.
Bengal Cotton Sarees: These sarees made of Bengal cotton are ideal for daily wear due to their crispness and lightweight feel. Available in a range of colours and designs, the Tant saree is a timeless option.
Kanjeevaram Cotton Sarees: are crafted in the temple town of Kanjeevaram, showcasing vibrant colours, detailed patterns, and zari borders.
The Enchantment of Pure Handloom Silk Sarees
Silk sarees are synonymous with luxury, elegance, and sophistication. They drape beautifully, creating a stunning silhouette. The unique sheen of silk adds a touch of glamour to any outfit.
Benefits of Silk Sarees:
Luxury and Sophistication: Pure handloom silk sarees are known for their luxurious feel and regal appearance. They are perfect for special occasions, such as weddings, formal events, and evening wear.
Durability: When properly cared for, silk sarees can last for generations. They are a valuable heirloom that can be passed down through the family.
Variety: Silk sarees usually come in a range of weaves, colours, and patterns. From the classic Kanjeevaram silk sarees to the intricate Paithani silk sarees, there is a silk saree to suit every woman's taste.

¿Tres? —Preguntó, sólo para asegurarse.

Post the ranking of the male legends. Let the world burn. Let chaos reign. It's on brand for the show (please read this in a funny tone)
The official, correct ranking of male Legends from best to worst along with foolproof evidence which you can trust because I am a lesbian and I am not swayed by men of dubious attractiveness.
1: Gwyn Davies
Pros: Invented time travel so he could save the poet he spent his entire adult life pining for. Has some of the absolute best throwaway lines of S7 (with flawless delivery). Has literally never done anything wrong ever.
Cons: Not around for long enough, which was in no way his fault.
2: Ray Palmer
Pros: Delightful. Hilarious. Has great chemistry with every other character. Loves showtunes and Star Wars.
Cons: Spending billions of dollars to create a suit so you can be a superhero in a city that frankly has too many superheroes already is not a good look. Also he's way too intense in relationships.
3: Nate Heywood
Pros: He somehow manages to be the perfect combination of himbo and really smart. It shouldn't be possible. Also, I too am an overeducated nerd who is really into Tala and Maisie, so I relate to him.
Cons: He really sucks whenever he's in a relationship.
4: Jefferson Jackson
Pros: He's such a good guy through and through. He has been put through some deeply unfair things but still manages to always be a positive force. Deserves all the hugs.
Cons: His accent is ridiculous and I can't take him seriously because of that.
5: Mick Rory
Pros: Has any character on the show evolved as much as him? Probably not. He's a sweetheart. He writes romance novels. His relationships with other characters are always amazing.
Cons: We all had to watch him birth alien eggs through his nose and that can never been unseen. Way too attached to his shitty ex boyfriend.
6: Wally West
Wally is right in the middle because he is true neutral. Does he make the show better? Not really. Does he make the show worse? Not really.
Pros: Good karaoke choices.
Cons: It's really dumb that Death Totem Sara appeared to him as his ex (who he really wasn't with that long and who was very much still alive) instead of his mom (who was his only family for his entire childhood and fairly recently died).
7: Gary Green
Pros: Sweet, funny, endlessly relatable. He adds so much character to every scene he's in.
Cons: Does not understand boundaries at all. He's also very inconsistently written because obviously they didn't plan for him to be an alien from the beginning.
8: Behrad Tarazi
Pros: I enjoy the way his relationship with Zari has developed. And he's a great singer.
Cons: Weed is not a personality. They didn't bother to give him an actual personality until season 7, at which point I was already over him. I also don't like his fixation with Astra which was entirely about finding her pretty on Highcastle Abbey and has nothing to do with who she actually is.
9: Carter Hall
Pros: Had the good sense to die quickly before he could really annoy me.
Cons: Manipulative towards Kendra. Actively detracted from the 100th episode.
10: Martin Stein
Pros: Victor Garber. A+ singing.
Cons: Drugged and kidnapped Jax in the pilot. Racist, sexist, deeply selfish. He started to improve slightly but it wasn't enough.
11: Rip Hunter
Pros: Saw the potential in Sara Lance.
Cons: Told Gideon he loved her and then TURNED HER INTO A TRAINING SIMULATOR FOR THREE YEARS. He also flew her into the sun and into an atomic bomb. Lied to all the original Legends. Lied to Ava.
12: Leonard Snart
Pros: Had the good sense to die quickly. Also, I do enjoy him on The Flash.
Cons: Cruel and abusive to Mick almost constantly. Talk about kicking someone while they're down. He's an asshole to everyone, but the way he speaks to Mick is unforgivable.
13: John Constantine
Pros: He's a useful foil for some of the more optimistic Legends. Decent bisexual representation. Never met a weird unidentified substance he didn't want to put in his mouth.
Cons: He forced Charlie to face thousands of years worth of trauma, got Behrad and Charlie's friends killed in the process, and put the entire world at risk. Why? To save Astra, who he immediately forgot about and left to struggle on her own (again). He sent Desmond to hell. He abandoned Nora when she was a kid. He altered Spooner's memories despite knowing that having her mind messed with is a major source of trauma for her. Put the entire world at risk again by teaming up with Bishop. Lied to and manipulated Zari and had the gall to call it love. Also, if both Ava and Mick don't like you, you are clearly highly suspicious.
