a crossover design idea as a gift to my party. i had a lot of fun keeping the designs to just the starters and deciding which PC matched the best. each have their own unique tera types that i tried to reflect in their designs

My personal ideas (albeit some would be ripping a bit off the starters for the fangame I created) are as follows (I don’t know what to do with the names):

Sprigatito evo: yeah it’s humanoid but not the kind of humanoid everyone’s expecting as it’s a more feminine (and please don’t ship it with Incineroar) Jellicle-cat-girl-esque (musical!Jellicles not movie) evo (it’d still look like an Iberian Lynx, just “if you made one into a furry”) based on a flamenco dancer (and fighting kinda like dancer classes do in RPGs) with a floral flamenco outfit (or at least to the extent it looks like an outfit, as Pokemon in clothes is a bit of a sticking point for a lot of people) somewhat based on Isabela’s dress from Encanto. Would either be Grass/Psychic or Grass/Fairy

Fuecoco evo: I’m not sure what type this would be if the Sprigatito evo was Grass/Fairy meaning this couldn’t be Fire/Fairy but it’d be based on a cuelebre; a mythological Spanish snake (see that, zodiac theory not deconfirmed, Charmander wasn’t a dragon until final evo either) with bat wings and spit that could create healing stones

Quaxly evo: I’m of two minds about this one but both ideas are Water/Steel (it’s just for the second one I don’t know what the weapon theming should be); either “Don Quaxote” (the one that’d kind of ripoff my fangame water starter as both would be knight-themed with lances as their weapon theming) or if it has to be an explorer-type (as much as Pokemon can have “jobs” like Cinderace and soccer), one that takes more of an Indiana-Jones/Road-To-El-Dorado sort of treasure-hunter route (to get around any issues with addressing potential colonialism) and can always find its way anywhere due to attunement with the planet’s magnetic field making it basically a metaphorical living compass

People who have ideas about what these new starter pokemon are going to evolve into but either don't have time to draw these ideas or aren't artists
