So I was on board over a month ago when people were first like re:Kanye "hey, mental illness positivity not extending past sadgirl stuff to like mania is kinda BS", like even to the extent you stay in control it's at full power with no brakes and limited steering and you end up in weird places sometimes, long-timers remember the time I was interpreting apocryphal Mormon prophecy
but honestly, having high-profile outbursts every week and a half while your Twitter is the same kinda 24/7 wild it's always been isn't really what manic episodes look like
From personal experience I can say that being bipolar you rack up experience that leaves you with a comparative advantage operating in fight-or-flight mode, which can be elaborated into social strategies of amping things up past the level others are comfortable following, I could see that going on, maybe there's mental comorbitities

Me: Sometimes you have a mentally ill other times you have mental illnesses *talking about comorbitity and not experiencing all my diagnosis symptoms at once/sometimes all at once*
My partner system: you know what you'll always have *trying to be supportive and sweet*
Me: the trauma? *laughter than oh shit I'm sad actually crying*
My partner system: oh no I meant us *hugs*
