it is with great pleasure that i inform you all that the House PC game is apparently available for download on the Internet Archive. I tend to avoid politics on this blog because it is generally not a place for my opinions, but I implore all of you to take actions to protect the Internet Archive, whether through voting or donating or whatever you have the ability to do. Otherwise abandonware like the House PC game could become lost to time forever.

really hope the kids today have access to random stashes of books in their teacher’s classrooms that contain healthy radicalizing content.

every time there's a protest outside the white house I immediately remember this one passage from a book series I don’t remember that described peaceful protesters being gunned down on the white house lawn and men with hoses coming to wash off the rose bushes

I was 10 or 11 when I read that and now I’m nearly 30 years old, and I will never forget that shit even though I’ve forgotten nearly everything else about the book

#it was a dystopian children’s series about America instituting a one or two child per household rule #so the main characters lived in secret in the attic #and while watching his neighbors he realizes one of them is also hiding a secret child #things escalate from there #if the book had sinophobic or anti communist undertones i don’t remember #i just remember that one passage that changed my perception of protesting when I was a tiny child

Can't believe I'm actually getting attached to like the Worst Guy my brain has ever cooked up.

#he's a communist lapdog and all around just a Terrible Person #he would have founded r/atheism if he could have #(he finds out claire ((pupil/operative under his command)) has 'fallen prey' to religion in the states-#-and proceeds to have her bible and other religious icons confiscated-#-and tells her to reassess her priorities because if she doesn't he'll have the members of the church harmed as well)#i hate him but also he's there to be a complex and unhealthy figure in her life and he does a good job #she's his favorite 'child'/pupil. but she's also nothing but a weapon to him #he's attached to her the way he's attached to the gun he's had since his service in WW2 #it has a job and it's served it's purpose. a purpose that benefits him #unfortunately unlike a gun human beings have emotions and their loyalty shifts #so as soon as his second favorite pupil (mikhail) ends up dead and her loyalty wavers she's no longer useful to him #his attitude came to be while looking up persecution of christians and religion in general in the soviet union #as well as that one scene in the americans where philip goes ballistic and rips apart paige's bible because she donated to the church #and people in the comments were saying his outburst and yelling were justified because 'he was scared because she fell prey to a fairytale'#'and con artists'#and i was just like 'so if a christian parent had a similar outburst to their child being atheist/otherwise not christian it would be abuse #'but this. this is fine. in fact this is justified. i see how it is'#he wasn't mad she 'fell prey to a fairytale' as you call it he was mad because her loyalty to her parents and their cause was threatened #so yeah. kyrill was formed to explore that to an extent #but mainly to be terrible. but the only parental/mentor figure she's got #ocposting on main #probably delete later

Not smart Heavy (man has a phd, smh)

Those "it was a girl all along" type Pyro fics (they fill me with such raw feral rage its insane)

Asshole dad Spy (can be fun in small doses but gets taken way too far 80% of the time)

Racist/Homophobic Soldier (HE WOULDN'T. Unless told to predjudice the enemy BUT THATS IT)

To the same extent, needlessly assholish Soldier (only exists to add another billion Scout Angst fics to the pile)

When Engie is "the normal one" (he's a maniac with a god complex, get it right)

Demo being ignored, or just having his alcoholism be the only thing about him

My most controversial opinion on politics is that all far-left ideologies fall under the umbrella of communism

#i dont feel like making a proper post #but like #we all have the same goal no?#i feel like dividing ourselves into little sections just makes us all feel more isolated and different from each other #which yknow. is also not the greatest political tactic when the whole point is people getting along and helping each other #and seeing each other as equal #also you can ask like 100 people to define communism (including communists) and theyll give a different answer #almost as if there was no official strict guideline for it aside from a few main points #that are also the main points of socailism anarchism etc etc #kososkas yapping

I saw the most beautiful discourse post about BLATANT FATPHOBIA AND ABLISM (original spelling)in "wall e". You know, the cartoon from 2008. It had all the characteristcs of a damn good discourse post... i was even tempted to add my own thoughts about it, but I resisted - I have never read fanfiction nor am in any fandom, and I will never get into discourse about childrens film, I have too much dignity for that lol

They were calling wall e a "post scarcity fully automated communist utopia" 😭 tumblr users never disappoint
