One of the best Transformers concepts Rudo and I have ever come up with is a continuity where Ironhide is she/her, female inasmuch as Cybertronians have gender, but her design is just another iteration of the usual big blocky ambulance with no concessions to any theoretical robo-femininity, and she and Arcee are dating. The Requisite Humans are a group of scrappy misfit teens, one of whom only realizes that Ironhide's a woman halfway through the first "season," has a whole ring-of-keys gender and sexuality moment about it, and spends the rest of the "show" following her around like a duckling. Ironhide is super confused by this at first, because she hasn't figured out that the human's a girl either, and finally has a mild existential crisis when Arcee points out what's going on. Full sitting on a rock, staring at the stars, "Baby, am I even fit to be a role model?"

Grown Ups 2 is a cheap, empty, corporate attempt to resuscitate the glory of Growns Ups (2010). The use of CGI instead of the practical effects awaited dearly by the public are a sign that anyone who enjoyed this movie is clearly not a connoisseur of the essence of the sandlerverse. too many callbacks to the original and what made it great instead of focusing on a real movie, too many forced references to the sandlerverse. characters weren't simpathetic or deep, a cliche of what hollywood expects us to laugh at. comedies should be deep and have your laugh coming from the depths of the abdomen until you're struggling to breathe. instead i struggled to not YAWN. Pathetic sequel, marks the death of cinema.
