Oh god I hope this isn't weird or bothersome. I saw your posts about POC and I figured you were the best (and most trustworthy) person to ask?? i've been having a bit of an identity problem, I guess? Impostor syndrome or something? Anyway, I'm Native American on my dad's side, and white on my mother's. Due to my father leaving at a young age, I know basically nothing about his culture except what school taught. Really, I'm asking if I can still say I'm a POC, bc idk about him and bc of my mom?

So while your concern and identify crisis is valid I’m not sure if I can help!

While I am also biracial, I’ve always identified as such as well as as a POC. So while what your feeling is valid, I’m not sure any advice I have would be beneficial! 

My friend however @commonrosefinch has had an experience more similar experience to you and I think any advice she has would be much more helpful than me! So please try to get advice there!

Identity and race can be complicated when your biracial so I’m rooting for you!
