Natasha has liked you for a very long time now, it was obvious to everyone but you. You were oblivious to her looks, the way she would physically get close to you, the slight touches, the cute pet names, Nat would literally follow you around like a lost puppy but you assumed that was just your dynamic, you didn’t think anything of it, especially feelings. She used to leave huge hints, you didn’t pick up on those either. No, you weren’t slow you just couldn’t imagine Natasha liking you, the way you liked her when you first met. She was distant at first almost cold and you thought she was the most gorgeous woman you laid your eyes on and in your head, it seemed like she made it very clear that you two were just friends, but that was far from the truth. Nat liked you too, she just didn’t know how to express her feelings and you two had just met it definitely would’ve been too soon to tell you that she liked you. Natasha’s feelings never left if anything they got stronger, she found it hard to be around you sometimes due to you getting a boyfriend, it was harder having to listen to you go on and on about him. She wanted to tell you her feelings but the night that she wanted to you brought your boyfriend to Tony’s party. You wore a long tight sapphire silk dress with a slit on the side that stopped right below your hip with an open back exposing the beautifully detailed tattoo that took up your entire back, that same tattoo that Natasha wished she could trace with her fingers while you two were cuddled up, she shook those thoughts away and went back to trying to help you find a dress for Tony’s next party. You came out in a short emerald green dress, she thought the color looked amazing against your skin tone but you didn’t like how short it was, you went back into the dressing room then returned minutes later with a longer, red sparkly dress once again this dress had a slit but it was on your front right thigh pretty high up but not exposing anything. Natasha couldn’t help but stare in awe at your beauty, if she wasn’t in love before she definitely is now. “Nat?” She snapped out of the trance she was in “That looks great, that’s my favorite. What do you think?” You looked at yourself in the mirror turning to the side a bit trying to see every angle possible. “You don’t think the slit is too high?” You looked at Natasha through the mirror as she shook her head “You look amazing.” You blushed a little then went back into the dressing room to change into your regular clothes, you came back out "Your turn." Nat shook her head "I have a dress at the compound" She smiled weakly at you but you were too excited about your dress to notice. Finally, it was time for the party, you finished up your makeup while your boyfriend impatiently waited for you in the common area with Bucky, Sam, Steve, Tony, and Nat the others were already at the party "She better come down here looking better than me since she's taking so long." Nat rolled her eyes while the boys stayed quiet, well except for Tony who as we all know can never keep his comments to himself "Trust me, she will." Your boyfriend looked over at Tony and rolled his eyes turning his attention back to the stairs where you were now coming down "Alright, I'm ready." You smiled at your friends but your smile fell when your eyes landed on your boyfriend who still had that impatient look on his face. You ignored it and smiled once more "Alright, let's go!" Sam exclaimed clapping his hands together. You all followed Sam out the door and you all made your journey to the party. Some were already dancing others were mingling and drinking. You pulled your boyfriend to the dance floor and started dancing to the upbeat music, you were having fun but your boyfriend couldn't be less interested to be there, he just wanted to be seen but the millions of rich businessmen that were there. "I'm gonna go get us a drink, be right back." He kissed your cheek and disappeared into the crowd. Nat was in the corner watching your every movement, she desperately wanted to walk over there, take you into her arms, and hold you close to make sure nothing ever gets to harm you. "You got a little bit of drool right there." Her head snapped in the direction where the voice came from, it was Sam, Nat rolled her eyes "She deserves better." Sam nodded and leaned against the wall "That's for her to find out." Nat shook her head "I could be a better boyfriend than him." She walked away to a side room to cool off for a bit. It's been 20 minutes since your boyfriend went to get the drinks, you looked around but couldn't find him, you felt the tears well up in your eyes and decided to walk to a different room to gather yourself when you walked in you saw Natasha "Oh, sorry I didn't know you were in here." Nat kissed your forehead whispering against your skin "I can't believe we're finally alone, I can't believe I almost went home." You frowned and looked at Nat "You almost went home?" She nodded and pulled you to the little couch that was in the room "What are the chances? Everyone's dancing and he's not with you." You were taken aback by the sudden forwardness of Nat, even though she's always been like this, you were just too stubborn to notice. "What am I gonna do? Not grab your wrist?" Nat was now dangerously close to your face with her hand on your wrist, you got butterflies in your stomach all those feelings came crashing back. "Nat.." She leaned over and whispered in your ear "I could be a better boyfriend than him, I could do the shit that he never did." She brushed her lips against your earlobe which sent shivers down your spine, you swallowed hard looking at her from the corner of your eye "Up all night I won't quit" She placed a small kiss below your ear, whispering one more time "Think I'm gonna steal you from him, plus all my clothes would fit." You let out a small moan, tilting your head a bit. "Nat... What are you doing?" She looked up at you and cupped your cheeks "I could be a better boyfriend than him, if I could give you some advice, I would leave with me tonight." Your eyes flickered from her lips to her eyes and nodded slightly, she pressed her lips to yours. Hungry. Desperate. She wanted to do this for as long as she's known you, you wanted it too but you were too oblivious to what Nat was trying to do or say. The two of you pulled back breathlessly, she leaned her forehead against yours. “I love you, Y/N.” Your eyes were wide and you stared at her for a bit, then smiled “I love you too” She took her chance and kissed you again this time passionately, you didn’t care that you two were at a party surrounded by millionaires and your closest friends, not to mention your boyfriend was still out there but once again you didn’t care. You wanted to be with Nat, every minute of every day, you yearned to be with her. All the times you and your boyfriend would ‘make love’ as he would say, you were thinking of Natasha, that’s probably why you actually had orgasms. Her hands wandered aimlessly all over your body but stopped why by the slit in your dress, you bit her bottom lip gently to let her know it was okay, and her small, soft hand found its way under your dress and placed it on your hip, rubbing small circles with her thumb, that’s when she noticed. Natasha knew what she was doing you never expected that but you weren't complaining at all, you ran your fingers through her hair gripping it slightly which caused her to moan as well. You all shared a laugh "At least we waited until you were done to let him storm in." Tony chirped, giving you a wink. You smiled and nodded at him "We appreciate it." Nat came up to your side wrapping her arm around your waist you kissed her temple, pulling her closer to you. "It's about time y'all did something, we were growing impatient, by the way, Steve you owe me 20 bucks." You watched as they all exchanged money, you rolled your eyes and pulled Nat into a kiss, giggling at all the cheers from them. You all went back to the party dancing and having fun for the rest of the night.

Birds of Doriath (non Songbirds)

I have songbirds of Doriath here and my masterlist of environmental world building here!

Doriath is a region made up of a variety of forests. There is Region, a forest of holly and other mostly deciduous trees, Neldoreth, an ancient beechwood, Nivrim, a forest of primarily oak north of the twilit meres and finally Arthórien, a forest we have almost no information on, divided from the rest of the kingdom by the river Aros which runs along the Eastern border of greater Doriath.

Greater Doriath (Region and Neldoreth): black billed cuckoo, tawny owl, barn owl and subspecies, goshawk, sparrow hawk, wood grouse, common quail, common swift, moorhen (also found in Nivrim), little curlew, red kites, black woodpecker, green woodpecker, hoopoe (in clearings, glades and outskirts),

Nivrim and the twilit Meres: Barrow’s golden eye, ural owl and ural owl subspecies, northern hawk owl, wood duck, water rail, spotted crake, black stork, common golden eye, horned grebe, marsh harrier, tree kingfishers, merlin

Arthórien (markedly different climate): hill partridge, emerald dove, great eared nightjar, kiwi species, black wood pigeon, rain quail, grey headed woodpecker, Japanese scops owl, grass owl, white backed woodpecker, green pigeon, greater painted snipe (I’ll probably make a more thorough post for this entirely)

World building notes:

I’ve talked about this before but common and rain quails are domesticated for their eggs and meat, primarily by the marchwardens! There are little enclosures built in strategic locations between the temporary huts the marchwardens use between scouting and other missions. There are elves, usually younger ones who might be training as a scout or warden, who care full time for the birds. The quails live good long lives and are often named by their keepers. While in Doriath, Túrin saved four quails from being eaten out of spite

Nightjars and owls are considered sacred to the Silvan of Doriath who reside in Arthórien and appear frequently in song and folklore.

Water birds are most commonly found in Nivrim where ponds and marshlands make up part of the ecosystem. Their images appear upon the walls of Menengroth in the passages beneath the river.

Though birds of prey are not reviled by any means, depictions of the deaths of elves in battle or through other violent means are commonly represented as birds of prey killing songbirds

Mythology, Stories and Folklore of Elegancia:

I don’t know where Elegancians believe baby pieces come from, but it’s not from a stork like in the Unikingdom and Frowntown.

Yeah, one of the Unikitty show’s directors said that in this world, a stork brings pieces that look like the parents, and then they build the kid. If it’s a species that comes from an egg, they build them and then put them in an egg.

Elegancians refer to ghosts as the spirit of a person that came out from their gemstone-like shell.

Elegancians refer to magic as sorcery.

Elegancian Naming Customs:

Some Elegancians are named after their species/what they are while others aren’t.

Some people have more realistic proper names.

Gemstone-based names are pretty common. Elegancia’s queen is named Carnelia.

Nicknames are used. Sgt. Wolf’s full name is Sergeant Abigail Wolf, but she calls herself Abby.

Middle names are used, too. Sgt. Wolf’s is Sonya.

Some people in Elegancia don’t have surnames while others do.

If people who don’t have a surname marry someone who does, they can take their spouse(s)’s surname(s). For instance, Carrie took Benton’s surname, which is Fox. (By the way, they’re Dr. Fox’s parents in this AU. She has a Botanian dad and an Elegancian mom.)

Places and things are also given gemstone-based names. There’s the Diamond Palace, Tourmaline Town, Malachite Metropolis, and Sapphire Shores. A prominent symbol in Elegancia is the Ruby Heart.

Geography of Elegancia:

Elegancia is located on an island. It’s a travelable distance from the mainland.

You can get there by crossing a very long bridge, or by sailing there on a boat.

There’s a very large deposit of gemstones and fossils under the island.

A sandy shoreline surrounds Elegancia, serving as its border.

The island is very grassy. Each blade of grass is neatly trimmed.

In the northeast of the island, some of the land is dug out to let in the surrounding seawater as the Diamond Palace’s moat.

Elegancian Architecture:

Buildings in Elegancia tend to be stately and elaborately constructed.

Homes, workplaces, and other establishments are all as large as villas, chateaus, or mansions.

The buildings are all very close together, especially in the metropolis area.

Roads are paved all across the island, and they cover most of it.

There are spaces for formal gardens.

Almost everything is adorned with gemstones, from the bridge connecting the island to the seaport on the other side.

The Diamond Palace is a gigantic, complex castle that is especially shiny and stupendous.

In fact, there are plenty of seaports and docks.

Everything is bright, brilliant, dazzling, and colorful.

Tall, soaring constructions all around.

Huge crystal chandeliers in some places, I think.

The Malachite Metropolis is like the Emerald City from the Wizard of Oz, except it’s more teal.

People don’t tend to have ceiling fans in their homes, but more and more people have been installing them recently.

Flora and Fauna of Elegancia:

Grass (which, as I said, is very neatly trimmed)

Trees and bushes?

Animals associated with fanciness or high society

Many prehistoric animals lived where Elegancia is now. Like I said, there are a lot of fossils.

Given characters in the show like Dino Dude, maybe some prehistoric animals still live there.

Symbolism in Elegancia:

Ruby hearts are a symbol of generosity, kindness, and love. They are worn on clothes and used in Elegancian traditions.

I think different gems have different meanings, too.

Elegancian Society:

Elegancia is a kingdom ruled by Queen Carnelia. The people hold her in pretty high regard.

Her two children are Princess Anastasia and Prince Alfrendo.

There’s absolute primogeniture going on here. Anastasia and Alfrendo are twins. Anastasia is the older twin, and she’s the crown princess.

Elegancia is allied with Swan Lake, but they don’t interact much. They’re mostly focused on other stuff, and they only bring up the other in business-related subjects.

Elegancia is defended by Captain Ember and their order of knights. That’s right- knights. This kingdom has an order of chivalry.

Knights undergo some form of training, and they are knighted by Queen Carnelia.

I didn’t really establish anything about Elegancia’s legal system.

Elegancia uses the Gregorian-ish calendar that the Unikingdom uses. I call it the Unicorny calendar.

Elegancia’s idea of wealth comes from both how much money you have, how fancy/stylish you are, and how many luxurious things you own. However, they believe that you can’t treat others as below you.

Their currency is metallics, which are crystal-like coins made of lab-grown stone and thin strips made of lab-grown metal. They used to be made of real stone and metal, but the people switched to lab-growing them so as to not waste their resources.

Pirates are around the island? Captain Ember used to be one before they became the leader of the knights.

There are lots of theaters all around Elegancia.

There are also lots of art museums.

Elegancia has fabulous resorts, such as Sunstone Suites. Sgt. Wolf’s mom, Felicity, works there as a maid.

There are maids and receptionists. In her childhood, Sgt. Wolf was briefly infatuated with Gaspard, the grandson of the receptionist at Sunstone Suites.

People can lab-grow gems and stones.

There are plenty of sailors.

Thermodynamicists? Dr. Fox’s mom in this AU, Carrie, knows a thing or two about thermal regulation in clothes

The Unikingdom (in this AU) has a theater district called Hugway. Elegancia has one of its own called Spessartine Square, which is colloquially referred to as just Spessartine.

Acting, stage design, theater history, playwriting; all of this stuff is taught in schools.

The knight brigade has their own military bands. They’ve got a killer drumline.

There are marching bands in Elegancia’s universities.

DJ-ing and techno music are common. Sgt. Wolf is a DJ in her spare time.

Traditions, Holidays and Customs in Elegancians:

Like the Unikingdom and Frowntown in the show, Elegancia celebrates Christmas?

They’ve got tall, artificial, beautifully decorated Christmas trees.

No New Years celebrations. The Christmas season is the last holiday of the year.

Halloween is there, but it has a masquerade theme to it, and it’s celebrated with masquerade balls.

The Annual ReGala is a royal ball that celebrates the founding of the kingdom. I had the idea that all the fancy people arriving at the ball is broadcasted live on TV.

Ruby Hearts Day is a day of love and community for Elegancians. It happens in the late summertime. People wear clothes with ruby hearts on them, and have a picnic or beach day with their friends and families.

Elegancia has lots of lavish parties. They’re very grand and sophisticated. They’ve also got lots of tea parties, and balls.

At formal events, it’s common to try and dress like the nobility and the royals.

Elegancians try to make sure that their birthday celebrations happen on their exact birthdays. Birthdays are celebrated with formal parties akin to wedding receptions, or the after parties that come after award shows. A royal ball is held to celebrate a royal’s birthday.

In Elegancia, they put a lot of emphasis on being the best partner you can be. When proposing to someone, people can spend hours finding the perfect gift, like finding your partner(s)’s favorite gems.

For Elegancian weddings, it’s customary to let as many people as you can know you’re getting married. The entire wedding party walks into the venue after the marrying people. The vows usually happen first. Then, one of the partners gives a red ruby heart to the other(s), showing that they have won their affections. They exchange very sparkly rings, and then they’re officially married. There’s a lavish after party, with the newlyweds making quite a dramatic entrance. It’s a really big deal when someone marries into the royal family.

Funerals are as big of an affair as birthday celebrations and weddings. They have lots of guests. The deceased person’s pieces are scrubbed up very nicely in a bathhouse. The coffin is placed at an angle like an easel before the pieces are melted or buried. An officiant recites a eulogy and a recount of the dead person’s life, and the guest honor them by giving them a toast. A dark red ruby heart is put on the person’s gravestone or tomb. It’s a really big deal when a monarch dies.

Mannerisms and Etiquette:

Good manners are heavily expected.

Acting serious and honest is as well.

It’s considered proper to wear clothes in Elegancia.

Education in Elegancia:

Children in Elegancia first go to kindergarten.

After that, they attend primary school, and then secondary school.

Higher education is a thing. Elegancia has universities.

Elegancia is noted for its private schools, and for its personal teachers that teach students at home.

Fighting Styles and Weaponry in Elegancia:

Elegancians use the fighting styles of knights.

They’ve got swords, shields, and shining armor.

They also use weapons like rapiers and spears.

I think fencing and jousting are practiced.

Their armor is made of steel and metal. It’s very polished, and it can have patterns carved on it.

Captain Ember’s armor has gold kneepads and cuffs on it. It’s made of a fireproof material so that it won’t burn off of them. Their armor also has chainmail that’s colored red for their sleeves and train.

Titles the knights can have are Captain, Sergeant, Sir, and Lady.

Sgt. Wolf’s father, Sir Arthur, is a knight, and so is she.

The knights can have their knighthood revoked if they don’t use their title for good, or work with others.

Any Language?:

In the world Unikitty is set in, Everyone Speaks Whatever Language You’re Watching The Show In™️. (I watch it in English.)

Elegancian Food:

I never really established any Elegancian food.

They probably have foods that you would expect to see at a tea party.

Such as, well, tea.

I think there are huge buffets.

Fancy, decorated utensils, maybe.

Medium-rare steak. (Sgt. Wolf loves it.)

Fashion and Dress Code in Elegancia:

Like I said, it’s considered proper to wear clothes there.

Queen Carnelia’s dress has multiple necklaces, a choker, a square collar, a jeweled collarette/ruff, puffy sleeves, and a peacock feather skirt that's, like, the same color as her tail

She has a jeweled fan

And her crown looks like one of those round coronets? Like the English Crown Jewels? Uhhhh... yeah, me, what was that thing you said about how the lands aren't based on any real places or cultures?

Swimsuits can be two-piece swimsuits that look sort of like bikinis.

Pajamas include gauzy nightgowns. They can be buttoned all the way down from top to bottom, be worn with pants, and have puffy shoulders.

Winter clothes might include puffy jackets, fluffy boots, pants, and tail coverings, but this may just be heavy winter/blizzard attire that Sgt. Wolf gets when she moves to Ice Cream Land.

Queer Culture and Expression in Elegancia:

I didn't really establish this either.

I did establish that Captain Ember's pronouns are they/them.

Elegancian History:

Because of the rich deposit of gemstones beneath the island, everything there always seems to sparkle. People noticed this when they first started living there.

They treated themselves to the luxury and lavishness the gems brought them.

Later on, there were kingdoms across the island based upon gems with warmer colors, gems with cooler colors, brilliant green gems, multicolored gems, black and white gems, and diamonds.

These kingdoms were eventually unified by a gemstone being from the diamond kingdom who was recognized as king. They've been unified since then, and they had big, fancy celebrations every year to celebrate the union.

The kingdom was called the Kingdom of Glim.

It was later ruled by a royal house of colorful doves with sparkly feathers who led the land to focus on its broader elegance. So, it was renamed to Elegancia.

Sports and Games in Elegancia:

Fencing

Equestrian sports, such as horse racing (I think Sgt. Wolf has done both of these)

Jousting?

Sailing, I think

Transportation in Elegancia:

Walking around/getting around on foot

A Faunus village in Mantle is massacred by Atlesian soldiers, and the lone survivor, a pigeon Faunus girl named Cinder Fall, is sold into slavery to keep her quiet. Ten years later, a witch named Salem gives Cinder magical powers that she uses to escape from her captors; in return, Cinder must now help Salem escape from her own prison. As Cinder attends Beacon Academy and tries to find the Relic of Choice, she makes many new friends and fights many new foes, and the adventures she has cause her to wonder if following Salem really is the best choice after all. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At this moment I have no plans to make an Arc 2, 3, or 4 of CYAN. I may follow this video up at some point, but who knows?

I chose cyan as this work's theme color because this AU is centered on Cinder. The canon Cinder is morally opposite Ruby, who is based on the color red, so I thought it appropriate for a Cinder-themed rewrite to be based on the opposite of red, which in RGB land is cyan.

Some additional notes:

Cinder is deaged to 17-18 to blend in with the Beacon students, while Neo is still in her early twenties because she can pass as an upperclassman.

Cinder is a pigeon Faunus in this AU in a reference to Aschenputtel(a German counterpart of Cinderella)'s doves (the doves help her with her chores, alert the prince to the stepsisters' bleeding feet, and peck out the stepsister's eyes). The species of the background Faunus workers in Cinder's birthplace are a nod to the animals seen in the French Cinderella that American audiences are more familiar with.

In terms of endgame relationships, the ones I've planned are Cinder/Yang, Jaune/Pyrrha, Ruby/Penny, Sun/Blake, and Ren/Nora. I haven't decided on Weiss' love life yet.

In terms of sexual orientations, Cinder, Ruby, Penny, and Emerald are lesbians, Yang and Blake are bisexual, Weiss is pansexual, Ciel & the members of the canon JNPR are all straight, Mercury is gay, Neo is polysexual with attraction to three different gender identities, and Amber is an aromantic asexual with absolutely no interest in dating or physical intimacy. CYAN's version of Ozpin is also sex-and-romance-repulsed aroace.

Roman and Neo are not in love, they are self-declared brother & sister.

The inconsistent explanations of the world's origins are deliberate because it's Ozpin and Salem doing the telling most of the time. That's something I feel they have in common.

I do not own any of the images used, they all belong to the RWBY wiki page. An AI voice was used because I have trouble reading from scripts, I want to protect my identity, and my IRL voice is terrible.

the books of beginning characters + animal & mythological creature symbolism

kate: - hummingbird; hummingbirds are constantly active, much like kate, who is always busy caring for her siblings. they also represent time because they move so fast. - elephant; elephants are very intelligent and empathetic, much like kate, and they're also associated with memory - kate is the atlas keeper and the only wibberly with concrete memories of her parents. also, elephants are very familial and matriarchal and she's the leader of her family. - hedgehog; a typically peaceful animal that nevertheless has strong defense mechanisms and ways to be closes off, very similar to kate who is kind but guarded after her childhood.

michael: - rabbit; obviously this is the nickname wilamena gives him, and its very suiting. rabbits are famously nervous and michael is a very anxious person, however they're also quick and michael is a quick thinking individual. - phoenix; this mythological bird symbolises rebirth and manifests power in the form of fire, which is befitting for the keeper of the chronicle. - beaver; beavers are builders that work together to get things done, which makes sense because michael greatly admires dwarves (who are also builders) and brings people together to save the world.

emma: - raven; ravens, despite being generally good natured and intelligent, are seen as ominous and connected with death. emma, despite being a young girl with a lively personality, is the keeper of the reckoning. - penguin; emma canonically loves penguins and you can see why - they're very familial animals and emma would do anything to protect her family. - monkey; emma enjoys messing with others, especially her brother, and monkeys are very fun and social creatures. however, they are also known to be aggressive when provoked, much like emma herself.

gabriel: - lion; lions are seen as symbols of courage and have tight-knit prides, and, furthermore, emma canonically is reminded of lions by gabriel. - bear; while gabriel got his scar in the process of killing a bear, he has actually has a lot in common with them, like being physically strong but usually protective and calm unless provoked. - moose; similar to a deer, like the one gabriel hunted with such respect in the emerald atlas, but more powerful. mooses also symbolize strength of character and integrity, traits that gabriel is very strong in.

dr. pym: - tortoise; pym wears tortoise shell glasses, for one, and tortoises also represent wisdom and longevity. - whale; this animal represents spirituality, and dr pym, as the wibberlys guide to the magical world, is the primary character that most represents the same spirituality. - owl; another symbol of wisdom and pride, both of which pym has in spades.

wilamena: - dragon; this is obvious, she's a shapeshifter and this is her other form, one that she reclaims, turning it from a prison to a way to defend her friends and the world. - peacock; wilamena enjoys style and material comforts and she's very proud of herself and her good qualities. - dove; this bird is a symbol of peace, love, and hope. wilamena is a very hopeful and romantic person.

rafe: - wolf; rafe is compared to a wolf in the black reckoning, and its easy to see why. in classic fairytales wolves are seen as sinister, but in real life they're very familial and thrive best within that structure. rafe is a person who is at his best when surrounded by his loved ones and he spirals when they aren't around. - raccoon; raccoons are clever and associated with bandits, which connects to rafe's background as a pickpocket. - snake; rafe is a person who goes through a lot of change and has a dark reputation but is more complex than he seems, like a snake.

6th December 2023: Lakeside and home

Pictures taken in this set are of: 1. House Sparrow in the garden which it was nice to see. 2, 4, 5, 8 and 10. Views on my lunch time walk at Lakeside, it was great to see the stark bare branches with a backdrop of creamy winter sunlight. 3. Some of the dozens of winter heliotrope flowers I was pleased to find in the verge area near the road entrance to Lakeside, flowers I find pretty which seem to be out earlier this season. 6. One of a few beautiful Greenfinches I was over the moon to see along the northern path, a cheery emerald bird which I'd not seen here for a while. 7. A Collared Dove it was great to see on the bird bath when home from my walk. 9. The Common Gull on a buoy on beach lake with a Black-headed Gull behind.

Another green finch was a highlight with some Siskins seen and I also enjoyed seeing a Magpie fly over with some feathers lit well by the sun. Jackdaw at Lakeside and home and Jay enjoyed at Lakeside again were other good crows seen. Blue Tit, Great Tit, Robin, fine views of Redwing, Song Thrush and Blackbird again, Collared Dove at Lakeside, Great Crested Grebe, Coot and Moorhen at Lakeside with Greylag Geese flying over, Goldfinches and Starling at home were other highlights. White deadnettle, wild carrot and a fair few berries in rose hips, wild service tree berries I believe, hawthorn berries and guelder rose berries were other plant highlights today with rose hips enjoyed at home too.
