So on the weekend I went to an art fair thing. I wasn’t looking for anything in particular when something caught my eye.

I stopped.

I stared.

“Huh. That looks a lot like Dave.”

It is not uncommon for cat art to look like Dave. In fact, most cat art looks like Dave. This painting was Different though.

“Can I see Dave?” The artist asks.

Not one to pass up an opportunity to share a Dave photo, I show her this:

“Oh wow.” she says.

“Yep.”

A commission for @timidtresleches of AU versions of Dave and Dirk! I spent some time just cleaning up the grown up dirk sprite, making the line thicker and more consistent, just to fit into my sprite style. You know what though, it turned out pretty good so I'm alright with it.
