Day 5: I’m participating in the Rower’s Unite Challenge #rowersunite @roworx_rowing Throwback to a national commercial we did with Dos Equis while rowing against the ‘Most Interesting Man In The World 🌎’ inside Marine Stadium, Long Beach. This commercial turned out great with the massive help from AC DuPont. We were able to run cables under the boat to pull it fast enough making it look like the guy could row a quad faster than all four of us while having 3 girls in his boat admiring him. Rowing in our quad was a massive challenge. The oars were from East Germany 🇩🇪 and warped so we could barely row straight. The boat was literally falling apart and somehow we were able to make it all work. Good times! I was looking forward to shooting more commercials with the most interesting man but soon after this commercial they rebranded Dos Equis and shot the guy into space to never return. 🤣 I’m committed to posting my favorite rowing picture for 10 days in an effort to bring a smile to someone’s face during this difficult time. Rowing is a beautiful sport and we should share it. All Rower’s are welcome to join in, especially including indoor rowers (Erg Screen Pictures Too). You don’t have to be nominated for the challenge.
