Housekeeping

Some new backend changes have broken a bunch of formatting on my old decklists and article posts. I had it fixed previously but it looks like that fix no longer works, so I’m going over them again to try and get it back to my intention. Good thing it’s not too complicated, because I’m extremely out of practice with CSS. Hopefully things will be a little nicer for people checking the backlog once I can get everything taken care of again.

This weekend is Canadian Thanksgiving, and that means it’s time to feast! I’m visiting my folks for a few days, but I’ve got a new article that talks about Ixalan’s card-by-card value for Commander coming up soon. Hope to have it ready to go once I’m back to society. Have a good weekend all, and a great holiday long weekend for my fellow Canadians.

Sorry for the delay, folks. The Ixalan Commander Card Analysis article is taking longer than I anticipated to finish. I want to get it up within the next few days so that it’s still relevant for anyone who’s interested. I’ve got about twenty cards left to go, so hopefully it’s smooth sailing from here. Stay tuned.

Ixalan Prerelease Weekend!

I hope everyone is having a great Prerelease this weekend. If you’ve yet to play, I wish you the best of luck! I was personally very lucky at the Midnight Event hosted by OMG Games and managed to pull a foil Growing Rites of Itlimoc which powered my Naya Dinosaurs build to victory.

I’d love to hear from you about how your local events went. Any great stories to tell? Weird interactions that you weren’t expecting? Did you discover any new tools to add to your Commander decks? Feel free to reply and let me know how the weekend treated you.

Decklist Posts Updated

Over the past couple of days, I’ve updated the decklists I’ve posted to the blog up to their most recent versions. Some of these had not been updated since the last time I had to take an extended break from the blog, so if you’re a fan of those posts you’ll be happy to know that they’re now current.

Exciting news for fans of the blog! Command Tower is now available at a new -- and more geographically-appropriate -- URL. Big thanks to Rick of OMG Games for making this happen. Previous URLs will still work for a time but this will be the new primary branding for the page and will be used in all future projects and materials that feature the blog by name.
