depression, suicide and hopelessness vs (six months of gratitude) - Day 183

Today is the 183rd of Gratitude Bridge

It's exactly six months since I started this project.

It started with the intention of doing daily gratitude with the harbour bridge at sunrise.

It started because on the 4th of August last year, I had a suicide attempt, and I had two more leading up to Christmas.

And I had this last-ditch plan, that said why don't I try the idea of gratitude daily for 365 days, and I would video and document my journey.

So here I am six months in, for the first 75 days I was able to maintain sunrises every day, that fell by the wayside, but the project never did.

It's changed a little bit over time, but daily, I come down to the harbour bridge to do videography and talk about gratitude.

A year ago today ------------------------------------------ I'm sitting in church and this scripture just fell on my heart. Lately I've been feeling consumed in the fire but like Shadraq, Meshach, and Abendego God has been in the fire with me covering me. It's very easy to look at your circumstances and see the fire but neglect Gods presence protecting you. His Word PROMISES Never To Leave You Or Forsake You! God promised we would go through trials and tribulations even thrown in the fiery furnace of life, but he also promised to go With Us! And to NOT let us be consumed ❤️ #comingoutofdepression

Just sitting here thinking about how God should of hated me and just let me die with the things I've done and said I've done so much, but even in all of my flaws he still loved me and kept me and is still doing it! Jesus died for every mistake we would make, so that no matter how bad we may fall there is freedom, deliverance, redemption, forgiveness, and most importantly GRACE!!! I know what it's like crying yourself to sleep every night, and you feel worthless, unlovable, unworthy, and all your thoughts keep telling you your better off dead BUT ITS A LIE!!!! If I be a woman of God I can tell you first hand, KEEP FIGHTING KEEP PUSHING DONT GIVE UP PLEASEE!!!!! I know it's hard, life sucks so bad right, and you can't see how any good can come of out of what your going through but I Am A Living Witness IT IS POSSIBLE AND GOD IS ABLE!!!!! Please Read All Of This❤️: I just did a scope and it was soooo heavy in my spirit "There is power in the name of Jesus, there is power in the blood of Jesus!" And I was just in worship in the shower I felt to my knees weeping because this bathroom right here, this bathroom where I now spend hours in prayer and worship, where I war in the spirit a few years I spent hours crying on this floor in so much pain, I laid on the floor filling my mouth with pills asking God not to let me wake up if he really loved me he would let me die! THE BLOOD OF JESUS WAS ON SO HE WOULDNT DO THAT, THE BLOOD OF JESUS AND ITS REDEMPTION POWER TURNED THIS PLACE OF PAIN AND HIDING INTO A WAR ROOM OF WORSHIP PRAISE AND OF POWER!!!! If you've been crying out to God know he isn't far but he said WHOLEHEARTEDLY meaning with all your heart! I'm literally worshiping to a song Right Now called "lay down your burdens" and I look up and see this!
