https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=104Hb4aiq_M Jinx Freeze by Lord Hurk Published by Avery Hill Publishing 7th October (UK) / 12th October (USA) Perfect bound, 92 pages £12.99 / $16.95
Crime has descended on the normally tranquil Riviera – a solid gold sculpture on loan from the Gurgleheim Museum has been stolen and the local police force are well out of their depth. They need help and they need it fast. But local Henshin hero King Gianthead Fighter Policeman O.X. is lost in a waking reverie of lucid dreams and his potential replacements – like Modern Tahzen and Danny Kildare the Space Priest – aren't faring much better. And why are people going into the Great Exhibition of 11851, the pop-up selfie experience in the middle of town, but not coming out again?
Fortunately, Marge Maggiore has picked up the trail and has a plan to catch the villains and save the day – if only she can clear her name for a crime she didn't commit!
Told through the twisted creative lens of Hurk in his long-awaited full-length technicolor debut, Jinx Freeze is a heist story unlike any you've read before!

Bearqueft Comix #1 http://comix.bearqueft.com is a 32-page, B&W with cardstock covers, digest size comic written and illustrated by Charlie Haggard.
In this delightful digest sized mini-comic Charlie brings Planet Man down to earth as the otherworldly hero explains how he came to be among us and the troubles he’s encountered trying to help others. We also meet a couple of critics as they debate the artistic merits of “Jerry” in his various cartoon appearances. Then a shy robot gets invited to a party, and Slumcat encounters some trouble while looking for a little scratch! All these neat pieces plus much more make up the keen Bearqueft Comix #1!
Charlie is a great visual storyteller, allowing his art to speak for itself in some pieces. Others get a more traditional treatment with complete dialogue, but still benefit from Charlie’s skill as an artist. The entire comic has a surreal, underground sense to it that’s just as much fun to read as it is to look at!
You can get Charlie Haggard’s Bearqueft Comix #1 and find more of his stuff at http://comix.bearqueft.com

Karno’s Klassics Presents: How and Why to be a Supervillain https://www.patreon.com/Karno is a 20-page, digest size, B&W activist comic written and illustrated by Kjartan Arnorsson.
Karno lays out the rationality to becoming a supervillain. He explains the real threats are Goldman Sachs, British Petroleum, and the super elite that control everything. Karno’s solution is to become a supervillain because that way you control your destiny, and if you were a hero the elite you oppose would just label you a villain anyway! He goes on to explain how to go about becoming a supervillain by discussing everything from your supervillain attire to your supervillain weapon. He even gives tips and ideas on what to do with the money you accrue through your villainous career and what to do if you get caught and find yourself behind bars!
As always Kjartan’s art and storytelling are exceptional as is his passion to rail against the system and all of its long reaching tentacles! Pull on your corporate fighting gloves and learn How and Why to be a Supervillain at https://www.patreon.com/Karno

Apricot O’Toon #2 is a 16-page, B&W, digest size, humor comic written and illustrated by Brian Buniak.
Apricot O’Toon is back again strutting her stuff! In this issue Brian puts his leading lady in several uncomfortable situations she’d rather not be in, and almost all of them end up with Apricot being in some state of undress! But luckily in the end she finds romance on a deserted island. What could possibly go wrong?!
Once again Brian’s talents as an artist and storyteller are on full display in this eye-popping issue! His polished art is so captivating I must have spent an hour studying the 16 pages that make up this comic. Such skill as Brian possesses is a rare find among indie comics and a tremendous reward to the fortunate fans that find it!
Treat yourself to a thoroughly enjoyable experience in the pages of Apricot O’Toon #2 for $2.00 plus 2 First Class stamps! Just send ‘em to:

Why Your Life Sucks https://www.patreon.com/Karno is a 12-page, digest size, B&W political comic with scripting by Marc Tucker and art by Kjartan Arnorsson.
In this comic zine a young man ask Unca Capital why his life sucks so bad and Unca Capital lays down the uncomfortable truth about the pleasure/pain dichotomy that drives the wage slaves. In his revelation Unca Capital explains why Joe Public being miserable is a good thing for business. He goes on to detail how religion has played an important part in keeping the people from achieving true happiness throughout history and why it will continue to do so!
Marc Tucker provides the inspiration for this comic according to Kjartan, who read Marc’s passage in an e-mail zine. Kjartan depicts the tale in neat, clean drawings that perfectly capture the sinister glee of the comfortably corrupt and the worrisome desperation of the common folk caught in their clutches!
