I think y’all don’t realize how insulting it is as a descendant of pogrom refugees and Shoah victims to constantly hear Hitler analogies to such and such fictional blorbo. I don’t think you get to constantly compare shit to Hitler when you don’t even call out the antisemitism happening all around you! You don’t care when your friends repeat nazi talking points. You don’t care about Jewish suffering. You don’t care when I ask you to care. You don’t see it and you tell me I’m crazy for noticing! I have to live with this trauma of the literal holocaust every day. You know nothing of nazis and the things they did to us. And antisemitism doesn’t end there but you care more about fandom drama instead.

My friends and I were just having a friendly debate over what counts as a book ( where light novels and manga would lie compared to full novels and stuff) and I realized I'm so tired of such dry, boring conversation starters I.E:

i'm just gonna say it. on the app that could reasonably be called Misinformation: The Website, where you have no good reason to believe almost anything that anyone says, where people are known to play genuine fucked up long cons where they go so far as to fake a disability, or stage scenes of verbal/emotional abuse with their partners, or make some other incredibly serious claim only to eventually come out and admit that they lied or faked it to be *interesting* or whatever... i think it's wise to take the anecdote of a single random person with a grain of salt

i don't quite know how to articulate this, something that annoys me about the internet is that often it feels like the names of serious disorders and conditions seem to become more and more familiar and widely used until it's like they're these easy buzzwords that everyone just whips out to describe what they're feeling. and i don't know. i don't want to invalidate what anyone is feeling or going through, but sometimes it does feel like it kind of minimises the experiences of people who genuinely suffer those disorders on a serious level, and their ability to talk about them

LMAO ok a little backstory. i got hollow knight for my brother for christmas but somehow failed to notice it didnt have a little redemption code on the back of the card (or it got lost Somewhere in between me buying it and wrapping it up). anyways

i feel like im beating a dead horse so dont have to reblog just wanna get this off my chest i just realized that the watcher streaming service was the same price as a netflix account here . netflix has such a variety of content ranging from different languages and genres . the watcher streaming service was like if netflix only kept their originals (strange things,oitnb) and removed everything else. that comparison really puts things into perspective
