Funny thing: this is my art from 2024! I drew it in Ibis Paint.

I thought It'd be funny if Maps was at her school uniform and a raincoat while being excited to be in the Batcave... Meanwhile, Colton is not having a good time in the background with Dami.

Looking back, my artstyle was a bit different. I tweak it all the time as I keep improving. Honestly, even in my very first post here, I can already spot so many mistakes – but it’s way too soon for a redraw, so…

While I do like Maps robin costume I wish they went with a different approach.

The idea that she slowly started making it as other heroes started giving her parts of it was cool, Gotham academy kind was doing it by making Damian give her a mask and Riko Sheridan suggesting that she could contact a friend of hers to help with the costume.

My headcanon goes that the belt was from Red Robin since they met during an investigation (he has way to many of them anyway), the cape is one that Steph gave her (she replaces Barb in the Batgirl vol 4 annual #3), the black parts are from Cass, the mask still from Damian and the tunic & gloves from the we are robin kids while the gadgets where a gift from Colton for her first outing.

So I finished the main story of Gotham Academy. If I want to continue with these characters, what do I read next?

Motivations:

Bart Allen (Impulse), Kon-El (Superboy), Greta Hayes (Secret), & Cassandra Cain (Batgirl)

Three kids who missed out on a childhood. Three lab escapees. Evil family member havers. They all have different relationships to killing also. Cass at one end and Greta at the other. Plenty of reasons to be close and reasons to be in conflict as well. Exploring the nature of predetermined paths based on your circumstances. Thawne, Luthor, Cain and being sacrificed.

Olive Silverlock and the Gotham Academy kids

Gotham Academy is a very fun inside perspective into the civilian lives of the students of Gotham. They never revealed what was happening with Colton and his parents and just kept hinting they were semi famous criminals. Maps deserves to cause more chaos with her friends. Olive needs to get a proper apology from Batman.
