My favorite color wheel ever. I used to be afraid of the color wheel. I’m a visual learner so thinking about rules and concepts and well, theory, freaked me out a little bit. Then I learned that I could follow my heart when it came to color and still make this simple tool work for me. Color. That beautiful, magical and often mysterious part of our world that draws us in and calls to be re-created. @sandikeene & I are hard at work on our newest color mixing workshop - Colorlogue - featuring the color swatching stencils that I recently designed for @stencilgirl_products. We spent 4 days together working into the wee hours of the morning perfecting this class. We wanted it to be our style - light on theory and heavy on fun. We worked hard to create a course that we wanted to take ourselves, all the while saying, “This is a class I would join!” We went on field trips, did countless color studies, and brainstormed the MOST FUN way to experience color theory and color mixing in a real life, personal, interactive way. Imagine us giddy and jumping for joy saying, “Yes! Let’s do that! I want to do that! Ooh, this is going to be GOOD!” Coming in late April.
