heres fig! my little baby girl born extra extra small and with a stumpy crooked tail. her hobbies include being held, yelling for fun and convincing herself every animal shes ever met is her best friend
Creamkit dreams of becoming a big strong Warrior one day! She's not afraid to insert herself in situations she wants to be included in, though that sometimes ends up with a timeout in the nursery. As she grows older, she'll come to be known as Creamtail, one of the clan's kindest and most loyal members.
#i can't tell how old your little girlie is#she looks very young but you mentioned her being born extra small#so apologies if starting it off with her as a kit is awkward#either way shes SOOOO CUTE#her little silly tail is everything to me#creamtail#naming ceremony#answered asks#warrior cat names#warrior cats#warriors#wc#cats#the internet tells me this is a#colorpoint shorthair cat

Brightheart!
She's a snow lynx point now! Also very glossy, I imagine that she takes good care of her fur
In this au, she's the one who's Princess's kit. Princess still gives her away to Fireheart, and Brindleface fosters her w/ her kits. Sometimes Princess barges into camp just to check on Brightkit.
Uh, yeah, Bright's only a few shades paler than Fireheart, so Bluestar's left very confused over who the prophecy cat is for a while. Thanks Spottedleaf. That prophecy sure is helpful.
Instead of being bullied for being white, Bright is bullied for being a ginger. ThC only has tortoiseshells before TPB, sorry.
Since she's kittypet born, I thought it'd be fun if I drew out her pedigree chart. Yes, she has marbling.
Brightpaw and Cloudpaw are both kittypet-born in a Clan full of racists, but have very different coping mechanisms for it. Bright's solution is to jump at every opportunity to prove herself, no matter how stupid or dangerous. Surely this won't have negative consequences in the near future...
#au#warrior cats#brightheart#colorpoints#oriental shorthairs my beloved#tpb#thunderclan#honestly her canon appearance looks more related to fire than to her canon relatives

i want to live to see the day where cat owners understand that cat breeds are not at all the same as as dog breeds
#most random pet peeve of mine still#your street/shelter cat is 99.9% chance not a mix of any established cat breed#if they share a common trait with a cat breed it is instead indicative that cats like that are what inspired that breed#eg your colorpoint shorthair isnt a siamese but whoever made siamese cats probably really liked colorpoint shorthairs#almost all modern street/shelter dogs in the united states are mixes of established breeds#(i say in the us because this is very untrue in a lot of other countries)#but id say less than 5% of our street/shelter cats are anything more than domestic short/medium/longhairs#(even ur tabby longhair 'maine coon' :P)#simon says

The Jeebs both trundle like Smooch did, a low-to-the-ground, rapid trot that becomes a scuttle when mischief is afoot.
Jasper's "please stop, please put me down!" noise is a kind of.... It goes like if !_*' was a noise. Tiny squeak, tense hitch, little "kh!" sound. Distinctive noise, Ihave only ever heard one other cat make it: Smooch. He did it to make a point about something he wanted. But it's the same distinctive sound.
It's not that I don't miss Raleigh and Sid, of course I do. But Smooch was mine, attached to me like a hairy limpet, always there. And so I feel that loss physically so much of the time.
Normally the other cats of the household squeeze together after a loss and fill that hole, pulling the edges together so it can heal a little faster. So the mind doesn't trip over as many gaps.
We lost all our boys, all of them, our dear boys. There's nothing to close the wound but Fancy and the tenuous threads of affection between the Jeebers and us. It's not enough.
I had a very bad couple of hours this afternoon thinking about those final goodbyes. Smooch went so easy and didn't suffer beforehand. He passed out at home after a huge snack, during a nap with both of us on the bed. He never regained consciousness. That helps. But I miss him. I miss him in ways I didn't expect, and so I wasn't prepared.
I have two pale little shades in my house, who look so much like him, if I'm not really looking. I'm not sorry at all to have them. But it's like his ghost roams with them sometimes.
The others we were going to look at were black and white. Not black tabbies like Raleigh or colorpoints like Smooch, nor quite solid black like Sid -- the blacker of the two was fluffy which Sid wasn't, the shorthair was high white. I wouldn't have chosen to color match, if I'd really been choosing. But the babies came to us and I wasn't going to say no to their little faces; how could anyone?
It's just...a form of haunting. I would honestly prefer a genuine ghost.
All that said, I'm so happy the babies are here and I rejoice in how beautiful they are. Truly gorgeous cats. A hundred times a day I think how are such beautiful cats ours?
You'd never know they aren't purebred something.
It's just. Lonely.
Nasty little thing.

Are the aristocats coats possible? Could an all white cat (f) have a solid black (m), an orange (m) and a solid white(f) kittens?
(thanks and sorry english isn't my first or second language)
You could do a lot with them, that's for sure! Here are what the Aristocats family looks like, for those that don't know/can't remember.
Ignore O'Malley. This isn't about him.
It's possible, very possible actually, ESPECIALLY with the fact that we don't know the sire. That is a lot of creative freedom I can work with. I'll go into depth on each kitten's genetics below the cut :)
I want to have fun with this. If you know a bit about cat genetics, you'll quickly see how convoluted I make these answers because genetics are fun. Silly kitties with their silly genes and I will have FUN damnit!
Duchess's white is epistatic over everything. That means, we can really go crazy with what is under there. Eumelanin colors, red, tabby, solid, inhibitor, it can be whatever.
Therefor, I'm calling her a (technical) cryptic tortie. Below are the expressions I've decided to give her.
O/o, -/- W/w, l/l
I'll keep her black locus blank, as that will be affected by the sire. I'll be doing them last, so it'll be done last too.
Now, if you look at Berlioz, you'll notice something. He has a lighter gray stomach! That means I have to give him inhibitor at some point. You can also see this on Toulouse! However, since he is red, I'm passing it off as tabby. No inhibitor for him.
Marie is easy, so I'll just do her right now. The only note I have is that the sire HAS to be L/l in order for Marie to stay longhaired.
l/l, W/w
Onto the other kittens!
To stay as close to canon, Berlioz must have:
Black self (B/-)
Inhibitor (I/-) <- capital i
No white (w/w)
To stay as close to canon, Toulouse must have:
Red tabby (O/Y)
No white (w/w)
This means that we know EXACTLY what the sire has to have. It has to not have white, and have inhibitor. It's quite simple! However, I like to have fun.
Simple Genetics:
Duchess: l/l, O/o, B/B, W/w, i/i longhaired white (black self tortie) Unnamed Sire: L/l, o/Y, B/B, w/w, I/i shorthaired Marie: l/l, O/o, B/B, W/w, I/i longhaired white (black smoke tortoiseshell) Berlioz: L/l, o/Y, B/B, w/w, I/i shirthaired black smoke Toulouse: L/l, O/Y, B/B, w/w, i/i shorthaired red false-tabby
Now, you may be saying, "Robin, what possibly could be next? You've done all their genetics!" This is true! I just did it, however, I like to have a LOT of fun here. Fictional cats (cough. Warriors. cough) are my puppets, and I make them dance to my own rhythm.
Lets have fun with epistatic traits. Lets make these cats as far away from canon (but still technically recognizable) as possible. The world is MY oyster.
Duchess is now a longhaired cinnamon (b1/b1) self (a/a) cryptic tortie. Color-pointed (cs/c) with full white. The sire is now a shorthaired (L/l) black-silver (B/b1, I/i) tabby (A/a) with high tabby-breakage (spotted tabby).
So... onto:
Mod Robin's Funplex Cat-Genetics Note: I'm having fun. This is not accurate to real life probabilities.
Duchess: l/l, o/o, b1/b1, a/a, cs/c, W/w, i/i longhaired white (cinnamon colorpoint, carrying albinism) Unnamed Sire: L/l, o/Y, B/b1, A/a, C/c, w/w, I/i shorthaired black-silver spotted tabby (carrying albinism) Marie: l/l, o/o, B/b1, A/a, c/c, W/w, I/i longhaired albino white (black-silver spotted tabby) Berlioz: L/l, o/Y, B/b1, a/a, cs/c, w/w, I/i shorthaired smoke sealpoint (carrying albinism) Toulouse: L/l, o/Y, b1/b1, A/a, C/cs, w/w, i/i shorthaired cinnamon spotted tabby (carrying pointing)
yay! kitties :) !!!! <3333
i wrote this at 3pm and a dream okay. please tell me about any mistakes, and dont get mad at me for probability. I WILL have fun in my kitty echochamber and I WILL like it :)

this is our sweet sweet boy goose (ft. his baby brother pippin)! we were told he was a shorthair when we adopted him (a lie) but we’ve been told that he’s a flamepoint? when he was a baby he had really obvious orange stripes on his tail that faded away as he got older but the rest of his orange got really dark!
—
Flamepoint is just another term for red colorpoint cats! Which he is- a red colorpoint with low white spotting.
#submission#thanks for the submission!#cat id#i'm not sure if red colorpoints count as lynx points bcs theyre. all lynx. by default#terminology...

randomest pet peeve is people treating cat colorations how you would a dog breed
#99% of cats are some variation of dsh/dmh/dlh and my autism brain wants nothing more than for people to be aware of that#whenever i see people call a pointed domestic shorthair a siamese its like Well. no#thas like saying a white pomeranian is a samoyed cuz theyre both white#fun fact colorpoint coloring is very common in cats ! including randombred strays and the like#its very much something that doesnt matter but i want people to know it#most cats are just weird little guys. in the grand scheme of cats very few of them conform to a breed even if they have some traits of one#simon says
