#a doodley#i like these posca pencils and their colors and usually i dont need a ton of colors! but the value variation is not there for purples#like theres a light mid and dark green and light and mid blues but only the purple pictured (lilac) and then a pinker purple in the same#value range....ykwim#and pressing harder only does so much with oil based#i dont use purple much so ill deal with it and i dont draw enough to warrant buying more but! disappointing there#like what if i wanted to fully color thistle and needed a deeper purple...#i know (and enjoy) layering colors but dont think i cld do so with the ones provided

after two years i finally draw the favorite
