Cheap and Easy Meal Ideas

- simple yogurt bowls. I like vanilla, but I accidentally bought plain recently, so I add honey to sweeten it and add granola. if we have some I also add blueberries or other fruit

- bagel with cream cheese. I like blueberry protein bagels (I struggle to eat enough) with strawberry cream cheese, but my partner likes peanut butter on his bagels.

- cubed chese with cherry tomatoes, I skewer them on toothpicks. I use sharp cedar and Colby jack just because that is our favorite and cheap for blocks of cheese

- bag salad, toast, and ceasar dressing. i bulk make salad since i use it each day for lunch so I add an extra bit of dressing to the toast depending on how much is already in the salad and I either make a sandwich with extra vegetables if we have any, or i eat it on one slice

- pasta with butter. just boiling so pasta and throwing it into a bowl with a fork full of butter. this is harder for me since it uses a stove, but dinner foods are good too ^^

- tuna and rice. having a rice cooker is great since it can schedule rice to be ready when I get off from work. I add a bit of regular mayo and rice vinegar and canned tuna. for a spicier take, you can add sriracha. also kewpie mayo makes a good alternative if you have it

my current morning routine 🧸🧼🥞

I am making this so I can look back on it later and also to show that any progress you make is still important. I am using my weekend morning routine, which is similar to my weekday one, but there's a couple of different steps and it's at vv different times <3

7:00

I use a pokemon sleep app. This has a great alarm, and I don't have to think about what i need to do, so it helps me not fall back asleep. so when i wake up, I collect the berries my pokemon give me and make them breakfast and try to collect the ones that came overnight

and however long i have left I let myself watch tiktok or scroll on tumblr until 7:30. on sleepy mornings, this is vital because it motivates me to get up when it is time

7:30

so when I get up, I turn on the stove. the night before, I set out a mug, tea bag, and honey, so all I need to do is turn on the kettle. I start on my yoga as it warms up. they normally finish at the same time.

7:45

after I finish with that I start my skincare. there's certain products I use that require time to dry, so while those are on, I make toast and decide on if it's a human-clothes day or a lounge-clothes day depending on the chores I need to do.

when I have free moments, I also work on finishing the night chores that may not have been finished or were completed too early.

8:00

during this time, I move on to drinking water. I really hate the cold, so I don't start drinking ice water until mid day, and so normally I drink water from the filter rather than from the fridge.

I practice my Chinese and write the lesson down in my language journal and plan my day and figure out how I want to tackle the day's chores and errands.
