"Possiamo realizzare i nostri sogni.

Sailing Ice Jacket in summer version, the colour changes from lilac to violet. Stone Island S/S 1989
"The most vivid memory I have of my father is of him worked on the Ice Jacket. It was back in 1988 and in that period the idea of a fabric changing colours was comparable to something from science fiction. And for me, a mere child, it was pure magic. But he seemed to be as excited about it as I was: he took it to the beach and wore it in the sea to check how it reacted with water, temperature... He obviously thought it was great fun, and so did it." - Alessia Vignali, interview with Lorenzo Osti, "Beyond Sportswear", Sport/Street Collezioni, 2012

In risposta Courrèges rispondeva

Shayne Oliver e Colmar
Cosa accomuna SHAYNE OLIVER e uno storico marchio come Colmar?
Cosa avete in comune?

Milan’s fashion flies high with Emporio airport show and Robbie Williams
MILAN (Reuters) – Emporio Armani touched the sky with its spring summer 2019 collection by showcasing the fresh and airy looks on the runway of Milan’s Linate Airport and ending the night with a performance by British pop artist Robbie Williams.
Models carry surfboards as they present creations at Emporio Armani. REUTERS/Stefano Rellandini
Thousands of guests on Thursday had to check-in, pass security and be escorted by airport staff to reach a shiny black runway built on the airport’s tarmac, in the hottest ticket of Milan’s fashion week.
As the night fell on the show, planes landed in the background, some even parking close to the temporary fashion venue.
Williams wore a sparkling black tuxedo coat matched with a pleated skirt and black sneakers – “can you imagine Armani’s face when I emailed him what I wanted to wear?” the singer told the ecstatic crowd.
The artist entertained the cheering and dancing audience with his greatest hits, including his latest single “I Love My Life”, as well as George Michael’s “Freedom.” He dedicated Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” to 84-year-old Giorgio Armani, closing the song saying, “You did it your way” and inviting him on stage.

And the extensive Emporio collection that preceded the singer’s show, with hundreds of outfits for both men and women, indeed traveled through the iconic traits of the world-famous designer: easy fits as well as sophisticated looks, the use of different fabrics, both smooth nuances and bold colors, soft feminine cuts and rich details.
Accompanied by the notes of Louis Armstrong’s “What A Wonderful World,” a video with an airplane taking off and a bird’s eye view of Milan’s most famous landmarks set the scene for the show. A giant screen surmounting the square catwalk, lined with fluorescent blue lights, projected Emporio Armani adverts.
Male models, dressed like surfers and carrying their boards, opened the runway show for what was a 20-minute long spectacle of colors, fabrics, shapes and combinations for the new collection of Emporio, one of Giorgio Armani’s clothing lines.
Emporio, which last year absorbed the brands Armani Collezioni and part of Armani Jeans, last September had shun the Milan fashion week, showing its collection in London in the brand’s renovated Bond Street store.
Sports-inspired layered looks, with lightweight windbreakers and anoraks were alternated with casual looks with ankle-high trousers worn under comfortable cotton jumpers. Models carried light backpacks and wore glasses and hats with flat shoes or sneakers on their feet.
Soft hues were broken with black trousers matched with white men’s jackets and sailor-like models wearing blue trousers and wide light blue jumpers with “E” and “A” lettering on them opened the way to brighter colors.
Slideshow (23 Images)
Designs included denim overalls, pastel pink matched with lime green. Classic pinstriped blue suits for him were paired with brightly colored striped short dresses for her.
Deep plunge black dresses with blue fringes and flower embellishments were followed by sparkly green outfits.
In a merry-go-round of colors and shapes on the catwalk designs seamlessly turned from easy-going outfits to sequined evening wear dresses, in a breathtaking show that appeared like a trip through Armani’s design books over the years.
And like all the best trips, it ended with an airport shuttle bringing you back home.
“Have a wonderful night and keep flying with us”, read an Emporio Armani panel with an eagle logo at the exit of the airport.
Milan Fashion Week runs until Monday with runway shows from luxury group Tod’s, celebrity acclaimed Versace, Cavalli and Dolce & Gabbana still to show their collections in the next days.

The Best Discount Shopping Centers in Pennsylvania
“Looking For The Top Premium Outlet Centers in PA?”
Who doesn’t love a good bargain? Even if you don’t “love shopping” like the Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte, we’re sure you appreciate every opportunity to save some of your hard-earned cash. But with outlet stores in Pennsylvania, you can get more than just a bargain or two—they provide some of the best deals consistently.
It’s Morre Than Shopping- It’s An Experience
And for these outlet centers, shopping is more than just plastering the word “sale!” and hoping for the best. Shopping is all about the experience. It’s all about having a fun time with your family: eating together, shopping together, and enjoying each other’s company.
Younger Generations: Shifting Attitudes toward Retail Shopping?
You might think millennials and generation z won’t be interested in discount outlet stores—but that’s where you’re wrong. If you look closer, you’ll see that shopping trends are shifting because of these younger generations.
It is estimated that generation z will be responsible for $145 billion in direct spending by 2020. They’re not so glued to their screens after all: they’re not favoring online shopping, but rather taking an interest in retail. Rather, they use online shopping to check prices before going to the actual stores.
And these are the generations that are most interested in treating shopping as an experience. This is perhaps why gen z-ers are drawn more towards outlet malls than regular malls. They are motivated by a variety of sales and discounts, which they conveniently found online.
So what does this mean? It means that business is booming for outlet centers all over Pennsylvania—meaning now is the best time to pay them a visit and see what’s on offer. And it also means that you can take your whole family with you!
And Millennials and Gen Z’ers aren’t the only ones that are rediscovering the amazing experiences that coming to a physical place with family and friends to shop. Moms, dads, grandmas and grandpas are all finding that, while shopping online is a major convenience, you can have a much more enjoyable time spending time with your loved ones and getting your shopping done.
It’s really all about dictating the pace of the shopping. If you go in with a time-crunched schedule, it will make the experience that much less enjoyable. However if you have a few hours to enjoy walking around, and grab a bit to eat, then the shopping experience is much more enjoyable.
Finding The Best Shopping Centers Near Me
Now the tricky part is looking for the best outlet center near you: nobody has the time to go around comparing them with one another. Why waste time and money when we can just give the answers to you? Here we’re listing down some of the best discount outlet centers in Pennsylvania—many of which are near Lancaster.
Top 5 Best Discount Outlet Centers in Pennsylvania 1. The Shops @Rockvale
https://www.google.com/maps?cid=16083117838668229109
At the risk of being self promotional
Tumblr media
-We’re starting this off with a particularly high note: The Shops @Rockvale is the premier place to find high-quality clothing, home décor, as well as great restaurants. With more than 80 outlet brands, this outlet center provides bigger bargains on many popular brands.
At The Shops @Rockvale, they offer discounts of 35 to 75 percent every day. Convenient if you’re not willing to wait for department stores and malls to have a sale. It’s conveniently placed on route 30 in Lancaster, PA, so you won’t pay sales tax on clothing and shoes.
If you’re on your way to popular attractions like Strasburg Railroad, Kitchen Kettle Village, the Rainbow Dinner Theatre, you can pay them a visit. It is just across the street from American Music Theater and down the street from Sight & Sound Theater.
If you’re looking for clothes, The Shops @Rockvale offers a selection including women’s clothing, men’s clothing, and children’s apparel. There are brands like Carter’s, Puma, Disney Store, Steel City Sports, Janie and Jack, Alfred Dunner, New York & Company, and many more.
And after shopping your family might want to stop for a while to re-energize: The Shops @Rockvale has restaurants that can offer a wide selection of food ranging from quick snacks to heavy meals: Burger King, Olive Garden, Subway, Ruby Tuesday, and more!
One reviewer praises The Shops @Rockvale saying, “I really love these outlets. The prices are great. Such a huge selection of stores. Plenty of free parking. There is a courtesy shuttle that takes you around the outlet.I really like shopping here. Will I be back? YUP!”
The Shops @Rockvale isn’t just your ordinary outlet center. It is the place to be.
2. Tanger Outlets Lancaster
Here’s another option if you’re in Lancaster and you enjoy fashionable savings: Tanger Outlets Lancaster. Sure, it has fewer stores, with just over 65, but it also boasts brand name stores like Polo Ralph Lauren, DKNY, Nike, Coach, Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, Reebok, Guess, and Banana Republic.
It is located at 311 Stanley K Tanger Blvd, Lancaster. To make the most out of your visit, you’ll want to pick up a coupon book or join TangerClub for additional savings.
“Although we only went to three stores our shopping experience was very good,” says one reviewer. “The staff in Clarks Shoes and Columbia were especially helpful. There is a discount book available at Customer Service with many store discounts, it had a cost of $5 but usually they are free with a coupon.”
It is described as “very clean and roomy,” with “lots of parking.”
But bear in mind, not all the reviews are as stellar: “we stopped here on our way through Lancaster. I have to say it was quite a disappointment. Many of the shops were no longer in operation and it seemed to be a bit of a ghost town.”
What this outlet store seems to lack is, well, more stores. But by filling up those empty spaces, Tanger Outlets Lancaster can definitely be among the top outlet stores in Lancaster, service-wise.
3. Ollie’s Bargain Outlet
Looking for a bargain? Another outlet center you might want to check out if you’re in Lancaster is Olle’s Bargain Outlet. Even the word “bargain” is on its name! It’s located at 2090 Lincoln Hwy E if you’re interested.
This one is fascinating because it doesn’t have a large “fanbase” in particular. They don’t have too many loyal customers. It has a weird reputation. But people find themselves going there very often anyway!
One reviewer says it best: “I’ve never been a fan of Ollie’s on the regular. Too many bad memories of my dad stocking up on strange and expired food from here may have traumatized me, but slowly I find myself coming here more often. This location is my favorite. I think they’re cleaner, less crowded, and have more room in their isles. I also tend to find more of what I’m looking for at this location vs. the others. What I have learned in my past few visits at both locations as this isn’t a bad store, and certainly one to add to my thrift rotation when I’m shopping.”
You might find the food, clothing, and beauty departments a little bit lacking. The service has been described as “almost non-existent.”
But if you want great deals on your rugs, your vinyl, your outdoor plastic grass, your hardwood flooring, and other similar items, you’ll find plenty of those here. Books and toys are abundant, and you’ll surely find something you’ll want to give to your kids. Is it too early to stock up on Christmas presents? No, it is not. It’s never too early to stock up on future gifts/supplies.
Customer service may be a bit lacking—but who can say no to that year-round sale?
4. The Crossings Premium Outlets
These last two entries are a bit more on the “honorable mentions” side of the story. These are still some of the best outlet centers in Pennsylvania, but they’re not in Lancaster per se. The Crossings Premium Outlets, for example, boasts quite an impressive collection of many fine brands. You and your family will surely enjoy your time here.
One reviewer says: “I really enjoy a day at Crossings Premium Outlets. My favorites are Coach, New York & Company, Michael Kors, Nike, Crocs just to name a few. The complex is rather large and has premium name brand shops for everyone’s taste. My recommendation is to go during the week day, where parking is available everywhere and it’s much less crowded. I also think the sales are better on the weekdays too. The weekend tends to be extremely crowded and parking sometimes is a struggle.”
“No restaurants located in center. There is a food court(which is okay). Auntie Ann’s & Dunkin’ Donuts is where I may grab something quick to hold me over.”
There are a few complaints, however: “went to check out this so-called premium outlets, parking was very limited, entire mall was more like a small strip mall and it was very old and dated! Major wear and tear on the outside of the buildings! Needs a major overhaul.”
People may have varying opinions on it, but at least it’s still worth checking out. Come and see it for yourself. The Crossings Premium Outlets is located at 1000 Premium Outlets Dr, Tannersville, PA.
5. Ross Park Mall
Another honorable mention is Ross Park Mall, located at 1000 Ross Park Mall Dr, Ross Township, PA. It’s an outlet center that features a multitude of high-end stores from which you can choose from. It has some very popular consumer-favorite brands like Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Apple, Armani Collezioni, Kate Spade, Macy’s, Crate & Barrel, and The Cheesecake Factory. It’s safe to say it has a bit of everything for everyone.
Reviewers praise it for not being “super busy” and for having decent stores. “The lines for Santa and the Easter Bunny have always been reasonable, as well. This mall is never too crowded and easy to get in and out of.”
This multi-level indoor mall has over 160 shops. “There are lots of nice specialty shops. It was a good place to stroll around one evening after dinner.”
“We enjoyed our experience at this mall. It was a clean, safe environment and had a good variety of stores so there was something to keep everyone happy. Lots of great little restaurants in the food court as well!”
Outlet stores are all the rage nowadays. And it helps that the younger generations are developing a taste for great bargains as well. Take your whole family and visit one of these fine outlet centers today!

Young designer takes brand to world stage Update: February, 19/2018 - 09:31 | Still bejeweled: Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 Phạm Hương performs on the catwalk in a silk dress embroidered with thousands of crystals from the Phương My – Pre-A-Couture Spring/Summer 2018 collection, shown at Arab Fashion Week in Dubai. Photo courtesy of PHUONG MY Viet Nam News Trần Phương My is fast establishing a reputation as an emerging international designer with luxury designs that are elegant, modern and feminine.   by Phương Mai Designer Phương My’s great inspiration for her brand PHUONG MY stems from the traditional characteristics of the Asian woman: feminine and delicate but bold as well. Known for their luxury materials, printed patterns and specific shapes, her designs are especially suited for women in Asia. “All of the fabrics I design are made overseas based on my pattern designs,” said the 30-year-old. The majority of fabrics are produced in Hong Kong, while the materials for eveningwear and runway dresses are imported from Milan and Paris. The combination of luxury materials, excellent craftsmanship and modern and chic silhouettes has made PHUONG MY popular in Europe, Asia, and, especially, the Middle East. In mid-November, My’s latest collection, the Pre-A-Couture Spring/Summer 2018,  inspired from falling flower petals, was introduced at the fifth Arab Fashion Week at the City Walk place in Dubai. Around 30 silk dresses in pink and white embroidered with crystals were worn by Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 Phạm Hương and international models on the catwalk. “This collection marks the five-year anniversary of PHUONG MY. It is an introduction to my new line: ready to wear couture,” said My, who is a graduate of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. “Each dress was made very carefully,” she added. For the collection, My used fabrics made by famous textile factory overseas and thousands of sparkling crystals customised for PHUONG MY by Swarovski. Tùng Lê, public relations manager of the PHUONG MY brand, said: “The collection was welcomed by guests, celebrities and royal members attending the Arab fashion week.” “We also received praise via phone and email as well as good comments on Facebook,” he added. “The vision of PHUONG MY is to share the beauty of the modern Asian woman with the entire fashion world.” Rising star My began her design career after winning top prizes at two prestigious contests, Are You Runway Ready in New York City and the Discarded to Divine Project in San Francisco in 2010. She was later invited to take part in fashion events like Macy’s Fashion Night Out in San Francisco in the same year, Elle Vietnam 1-Year Anniversary Fashion Show and New York Fashion Week Event sponsored by Astonish magazine in 2011, and Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam 1-Year Anniversary Fashion Event in 2012. She has also worked as a stylist for key fashion magazines in Việt Nam such as Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue, and in different fields such as branding to prepare for her own business. In 2013, My returned to her hometown to launch her PHUONG MY brand. Her first collection, Spring/Summer 2013, featured dresses, shorts, shirts and jackets made of organza silk imported from Milan and Paris. These designs were displayed at her first flagship store on Lê Thánh Tôn Street in District 1 and received a warm welcome from customers. The success of the collection brought My an invitation to be the guest designer for the Bvlgari Store opening in Hà Nội in March 2013. At home and abroad, the designer has participated in many fashion events, including Việt Nam International Fashion Week, Mercedes Benz Asia Fashion Week in Malaysia, and Perth Fashion Festival in Australia. To expand the visibility of her brand, she has collaborated with dozens of boutiques stores in Europe and Middle East such as My Beautiful Dressing in Paris and NASS Boutique in Kuwait. Her career and designs are featured in American and European magazines like Club Magazine Venezuela, British Vogue and Vogue Italia. Each year, My works diligently to introduce seasonal collections. All of her collections have been shown in Paris and at local and international fashion events. In 2016, My made waves with her Spring/Summer 2017 collection titled "Pristine", which wrapped up the Việt Nam International Fashion Week Fall Winter 2016 in Hà Nội. The collection was inspired by Japanese culture. Its theme colours were white, red, grey, blue and turquoise which highlight the delicate beauty of women. The dresses in the collection were chosen by dozens of international celebrities to wear on the red carpet, including American actress Susan Kelechi Watson at the 49th Annual NAACP Image Awards in Los Angeles on January 15 and the American singer/songwriter Julia Michaels at the American Music Awards 2017 in November. The same designs were also chosen for a magazine photo shoot with American supermodel Angela Lindvall for the premiere issue of Gio magazine, published online at https://giojournal.com/ on January 31. My’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection was also published in the 165th issue of Collezioni Haute Couture & Sposa, an Italian magazine featuring haute couture collections by international brands like Chanel, Ellie Saab, and Giambattista Valli. Apart from seasonal collections, My has introduced limited collections on special occasions such as the Red Collection for Lunar New Year and the Rain Collection for the rainy season in tropical regions, which have been popular with clients. “This was influenced by my clients. They’re my ladies,” My said. “The most important thing in launching a brand is to learn who my ladies are, what they like and what they need in their lives.” My now has 30 stores in nearly 20 countries, including France, Italy, China, South Korea, Dubai, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. The Middle East is her major market, making up 70 per cent of sales. Her future plans are to expand her brand and open more stores “My success doesn’t come from doing something new, but learning about my weaknesses every day. My motto is to find ways to overcome them,” My said. “Continuing to practice and practice will bring you success.” She said that she was proud of her “amazing staff” who, for the last five years, have helped her build PHUONG MY into a successful and high-quality brand.
