A Town Called Collegeville is a horror comic about a series of murders that take place in a small town in Indiana in the summer of 1973.

And of course, the residents of the town who get caught up in it all.

So who are they?

Mary Philips is a 23-year-old mostly-closeted lesbian with an untrained psychic ability. She's the drummer for the local all-girl rock group Lackadaisy Junction; one of the three main musical acts that perform at the town's sole music venue, The Zebulon.

Kilroy Mason is the ominous town outcast, girl-son of the Catholic pastor, and practicing devil worshipper. She plays as a solo act at The Zebulon, and spends the majority of his time there. She is a frequent user of LSD for both spiritual and recreational reasons.

Referred to only by his four brothers - who are the third musical act at The Zebulon, called John & the Murderjockies - as "Chopper," very little is known about this individual. He appears to be incapable of changing his facial expression, and is usually seen wearing the same outfit.

Sketch I did today based on a vintage Collegeville Costumes Halloween costume. Man I miss the old days of Halloween trick or treating. A kid could venture out alone in a plastic mask, a pillow case, and a flashlight, and fill that pillow case without a worry of poisoned candy or weirdos. Not that I ever went out alone, I had two brothers and a sister. We would cover miles and fill entire trash bags with treats. And, yes, those plastic masks lasted about an hour before the rubber band that held them on your face would break. Ah, memories.
