I realized clothing is never really described, so I decided to make something up for when I imagine scenes while reading... and re-reading... I believe Zuko wears darker clothes since he hides and feels safe in shadows and, on the other hand, Azula in the colonies tries to look as royal as possible to show that, even if she is a traitor and is oficially dead, she is still a princess by birthright.

college zukka roommates where its 3 am, sokka walks into their dorm and sees zuko playing every version of “please, please, please let me get what i want” with candles light all around his side of the room and notes that say “passing grade” on just about ever surface while zuko is sleeping

Okay so College AU, Sokka, an engineering major juggling his undergrad studies, takes on a side gig as a math tutor in the library. On the flip side, Zuko, a philosophy major, has confidently avoided math classes. One day, while wandering into the tutoring section of the library, Zuko is star struck. A pretty boy is here and he’s teaching math?!

Intrigued, Zuko starts attending the one-on-one math tutoring sessions. He begged Mai to share her calculus homework with him, providing him an excuse to spend more time with Sokka. Sokka is very obvious to all of this. He doesn’t mind helping Zuko, he actually looks forward to it a lot, but by GOD somebody needs to get Zuko out of a math class. This boy isn’t going to make it in stem.
