#fue un evento canonico :v re mamu la ryo #oh.. this was a random post putting some toughts and anecdotes on the tags but it ended up getting notes lol #i used to love talking to people from other countries using their actual languages i thought it was the coolest thing when i was a kid #on a mt2 server i remember a italian asking me to talk to him in spanish he was trying to learn he also was trying to write in spanish with #some italian words on his setences #also in metin35 i tried to write in tr and ro multiple times since everyone was turkish or romanian #pandawow folks trying to talk to me on 30 different languages just to invite me to their 3v3 party #oh garena phinoys....#the best case of this was my rotmg guild but that wasnt a priv server #the regionalization of servers took these moments away from many...#clips i collect #video

And my longest hiatus was 6 days?#Did you know I missed posting on 92 days of those 500 days - meaning I posted 82% of the time on a daily basis?#I'm normal about collecting data. I have so much data on this blog for normal reasons. I'm also so normal about art. The normalest.#Honorable mention for the character rankings: Lan Wangji! for “Most improved in rank”.#Sorry Lan Wangji fans but until the audio drama I honestly was...pretty indifferent towards him.#I think a huge part of that was due to the fact he's constantly paired up with WWX; who has *so* much charisma and steals the scene #But I've really come to like him a lot more since starting this project. He rose from mid-tier to being in the top ten!#Dishonorable mention: Nie Huaisang. Who fell out of number 1 spot and out of the top 5.#He just hasn't shown up a lot! And my rankings are fickle! They will probably change once I finish the third season!#My favourite comics are: A lot of them! And the ones I have yet to make!#I'm very sleepy at the moment while writing this but I do want to give a huge shout out to YOU.#Yeah! you reading this! Thank you! I also love the way they referred to Zerxus as an antiquities collector in the city of Dis like it's. A normal-ass city with regular people who go antiquing. Like is Dis on the Must Visit list for the most diehard antiquarians. Do people actually die in pursuit of Asmodeus's Left Boot (pre calamity, authentic dried viscera and calcified bone in the sole!). Are the souls of the screaming damned just flavor to the bucket list trip of the rich and retired communities. Is Zerxus well known and established among people who buy and sell antiques and who are not, I can't emphasize enough, living in the actual hells?

But I did want to gif this scene. So sacrifices had to be made 🤣#Absolute INSANE behavior Tim. INSANE! and yet justified given how much of a piece of sh-- Caleb turned out to be. He had creepy vibes #from the get go. It's interesting how Tim said that Lucy hesitated with Caleb.#The only hesitancy (and frustration) I detect is this conversation taking place while Tim is there and Lucy being very aware of that.#And Tim at the end handing her the paper. Lucy observing how he's acting and how quickly he shifted into protective mode. Tim standing #there with a part of him not feeling right about this whole thing & later projecting that as Lucy being the one who didn't.#He was overwhelmed by his guilt and in such anguish. Just falling apart at the thought of losing her because he gave her advice #as a friend and not as her training officer. Something awful happening to someone else. To Lucy... collecting more guilt #and piling it on top of all the other times that happened. That someone suffered because of 'his actions'#Neither Tim or Lucy saw this sadistic monster coming. And Tim may not have suspected him...#But there was something about Caleb and that interaction that had Tim stepping into that role of the fierce protector.#And Tim isn't only emitting protective energy here...🟢 * Puts a green circle there and doesn't elaborate * Yaass queen give us nothing 🤣#The green circle of jealousy and Tim is standing inside of it.#But he's also coming across as distrustful of Caleb's intentions which is not alarming as they're in the midst of the chaos #surrounding a serial killer. It's rather expected to be that way. It's how Tim said he should've known. He should've suspected him.#He's a cop. And yet he started interrogating like a cop would & as if he were a suspect. Asking for a last name. What he does for a living.#He behaved in that way for a reason. So something definitely felt off but the need to be Lucy's friend in that moment #that he encouraged her to go out with him came before his instinct to be a cop or even her T.O .#In other words... He prioritized Lucy and what he thought she needed. He shifted the focus from the case onto her by #suggesting she focus on something else. And when she was taken... that focus on her became heightened by the gravity of the situation.#+ The EYE CONTACT. Tim & Lucy having their own private moment. #ffxiv #ancients #endwalker spoilers #emet selch #lahabrea #azem #azem oc #apollo #dionysus #hemitheos dionysus because I like the thought that anyone with soul sight will look at him #and they get to be jumpscared by what i like to personally imagine as a winged embodiment of void or the abyss #I would say the moon but within the context of FFXIV the moon isnt actually a normal astral body #though like azem/apollo and the role of the sun #I write dionysus to be the astrological moon #a character who represents the subconscious and the self- who often sees and brings out the worst in those around him #how I basically describe as being around him will break you to your barest so you can remake yourself into something better than before #unfortunately for the convocation he is also an antithesis to their ways and their biggest critic- out of love- funnily enough #also dont mind the idea that magic (especially creation magic) is so deeply ingrained that the idea of manual work is surprising to people #dionysus has to constantly use his aether to suppress his power he's either doing things by hand or sleeping #ancient zenos does not get to escape the sleepy curse #weird vintner in the mountains found lounging off in the middle of his vineyard #emet expecting dion to be the problem out of the duo until he realizes that /apollo/ is the overprotective cryptic and chaotic weirdo #with the power to stop an active volcano #and dion is the chill and collected hardworking man who despite everything is more human than most #tbh this was mostly inspired by the scenes with thordan and varis and how they react to WoL and Zenos in those moments #for dion/zenos it is their being while on the flip side for WoL/Azem it is their choices and the expression of such choices

i think there's really something to be said about how there has never been a record i've encountered where people wanted justification or excuse to refuse to acknowledge the intention and seriousness of the project itself like danger days by both defenders and haters. i find it so incredibly bizarre and strange and partially fascinating.

#its all wrapped up in what danger days represents for people partially.#like idk ive been trying to verbalize it for yeaarsss but it always feels like people rhetorically discuss it as a side-effect #of whatever neurosis soothes their narrative. its a record of immense mania and tragedy for some people for instance #which i find very laughable but whatever. people want dd to be miserable for so many reasons #which is immediately rendered sort of null when you compare parade. both the touring and the album making process.#like realistically this is a band that every single record is shaded with immense difficulty and uncertainty #but instead of dealing with that fans love to sort of isolate danger days since its this moment of betrayal its the beginning of the end #its not what people wanted #when realisitically the single biggest creative pressure on the band would've been being severely in debt #to the label for scrapping con weap. LMAO. but that never factors. because its about narratives.#like danger days To Me is an incredibly ambitious record. clearly personal. artistically inspired. absolutely rushed job #because they were bleeding money.#but its cool that they took that stand!!! and they had to have felt collectively passionate enough to do that in the first place!#but people want to engage with it on the terms of their disappointment. or the record as a harbinger of doom.#idk i was reading rym reviews (a mistake) and its wild how the critical positive consensus is either #incredibly stupid teenagers thinking mcr want to firebomb a walmart or 'well its not as good but i like fun things!'#am i crazy for thinking it more serious than that? that its pulling sonically from a wide array of inspirations and actually working #in conversation with them???#anyway. synths 4ever.#my posts
