Like Rolls-Royce, no horsepower figure was quoted, but surely it was at least 320. More important was its massive amount of torque. Taken together with the turbine-like characteristics of the V12 engine, it mattered little which gear one was in or at what speed." – Stanley Nowak on the 356 GT4 2+2, Ferrari on the Road. By the mid-1960s, 50 percent of all Ferraris produced were being built with four seats, and the 365 GT4 2+2, introduced towards the end of 1972, was the biggest and best equipped of this family of four-seaters that had begun with the 250 GTE back in 1960. Flagship of the Maranello range, it reaffirmed Ferrari's determination to compete with the world's finest luxury saloons. Based on the preceding 365 GT 2+2, albeit lower, longer and wider, the newcomer was fitted with a four-cam version of the Gioacchino Colombo-designed 4.4-litre V12 engine while retaining its predecessor's mechanical underpinnings. Thus the '4' came with all-independent suspension featuring Koni's self-levelling system at the rear, while further refinements included mounting the engine and drive train in rubber bushes to insulate the car's occupants from noise and vibration, and offering air conditioning and ZF power-assisted steering as standard equipment. A total of only 524 of the luxurious Grandes Routières had been completed by the time production ceased in 1976. According to information supplied by Ferrari historian Marcel Massini, this beautifully presented 365 GT 2+2 was completed at Ferrari's Maranello factory in May 1975 and supplied via the official Ferrari dealer Crepaldi of Milan to its first owner. The original colour combination was Azzuro Hyperion (a light blue metallic) with Nero Cogolo leather interior, the same as now. The first owner was a Mrs Bruna Dondoni of Pavia in Northern Italy, who kept the car until 1982. The Ferrari was subsequently registered in Turin and more recently was owned by a resident of Pisa (from 2004 onwards). In 2014 the car passed into the hands of a well-known Italian nobleman in Tuscany (also the director of a bank) who owned it until 2019. The next owner commissioned a repaint in the original colour and at the same time the car received a through service at the Rome-based Ferrari dealer Samocar, for which invoices are available totalling almost €17,000. More recently the carburettors were cleaned, the air and oil filters changed, and the distributor caps and ignition leads renewed. Offered with Italian registration documents and the aforementioned invoices, this beautiful 365 GT 2+2 represents a wonderful opportunity to purchase a classic Ferrari combining the legendary carburettor-fed 12-cylinder engine and manual gearbox together with accommodation for four passengers in arguably one of the best colour combinations for the model. https://flic.kr/p/2jFGnbX

Activity - Snowboard
Together with a group of my friends, we travelled to a small town called Cogolo, in the Val di Sole region, Italy, on a skiing trip. This would be my third time on a snowboard, so I still consider myself to be a beginner. During the weeklong trip, I have signifcantly worked on my turns and keeping my balance on the board. Now I feel way more comfortable with the board control, by the end of the week, I was able to ride down the mountain without falling, which initially seemed impossible.

Karakoncolos bir hastalık cinidir, Cogolos da denir, açıkta bırakılan yiyeceklere tükürüp işeyerek hastalık yayar. Uykusu derin olanı adını fısıldayarak sokağa çağıran Cogolos insanların soğuktan donmasına sebep olabilir. Korunmak için pancar pişirip eşiğe gömmek, lohusalara, uykusu ağır olanlara pancar yedirmek iyidir. Yunancadaki kökeninden dolayı Kalikancari diye de anılan bu karanlık cinini evlerden uzak tutmak için geceleri ateş/ocak söndürülmez ve içine tütmek üzere şifalı sedef otu (Rue; apigano) bırakılır. Kış yarısı cini Karakoncolos’un bugünlerde sokaklarda elinde bir tarakla dolaşıp insanların önünü kestiği, onlara nereden gelip nereye gittiklerini, adlarını ve evlerini sorduğu söylenir. Cevap verirken #kara kelimesini kullanmayı unutmamak Karakoncolos’un gazabından korunabilmek için elzemdir. Karakoncolos günlerinde tarakları da orta yerde bırakmamak gerekir. Nasce nei pressi del Corno dei Tre Signori (mt. 3360), nel Gruppo dell'Ortles-Cevedale, a circa tremila metri di quota e dopo pochi chilometri va a formare il lago artificiale di Pian Palù; specchio d'acqua dai toni di azzurro e turchese irripetibili. Ridotto dai prelievi idroelettrici, prosegue fino a Cogolo, in Val di Pejo, dove riceve l'apporto del Noce Bianco. Circa tre chilometri dopo Cogolo il Noce precipita a valle formando un'unica ininterrotta rapida, accessibile solo a canoisti esperti, per poi tranquillizzarsi prima di unirsi presso Ossana al torrente Vermigliana, altro interessante corso d'acqua che nasce dalla Cima Presena (mt. 3069) sopra al Passo del Tonale e percorribile solo per un breve tratto a causa dei salti artificiali. A Pellizzano riceve le acque del Rio Fos de Fazzon e in linea con la frazione di Castello riceve le acque del Rio Corda e poco più avanti quelle della Vàl Usàia. Tra Mezzana e Commezzadura riceve le acque di vari torrenti minori. A Dimaro riceve le acque del Meledrio. Tra Malé e Terzolas riceve le acque del torrente Rabbies. Da Monclassico alla gola di Santa Giustina il Noce risplende in tutto il suo splendore attraversando paesaggi ameni e poco antropizzati. Presso Croviana è presente "L'Ontaneta" area protetta a livello europeo per la sua biodiversità. Alla fine della Val di Sole, all'altezza dell'abitato di Cis, riceve le acque del Barnés e qui forma il lago artificiale di Santa Giustina. Il fiume Noce da un punto di vista tecnico ha passaggi che partono da un III grado per arrivare a passaggi di IV e IV+ grado nella parte più selvaggia. Nella forra di Santa Giustina è presente un passaggio di V grado. In base al livello d'acqua presente il fiume cambia le sue caratteristiche. Il fiume Noce in Val di Sole è stato riconosciuto dal National Geographic come il Migliore Fiume per il Rafting in Europa. In una classifica in cui si individuava il fiume più bello al mondo per il rafting, il fiume Noce si è classificato al 9° posto, prima del mitico Zambesi. "In fondo la vita è proprio come il rafting. Una lunga discesa della quale possiamo controllare solo qualche dettaglio. Solo una piccola parte di cose dipende dalle nostre decisioni ed azioni, ma sarà proprio questa piccola parte a dare senso compiuto al tutto. L’importante è agire al momento giusto, con la giusta intensità ed il giusto coordinamento. Basta un secondo di ritardo, un calo di vigore, una pestata di pagaia con il compagno di voga per rovinare tutto. Si la vita è proprio come il rafting. E quando non sapete cosa fare, ha suggerito la guida, non fate nulla. Ci penserà la forza della corrente a trascinarvi a valle. In fondo era la stessa cosa che Seneca diceva duemila anni orsono ai suoi discepoli: “non possiamo mutare il corso del vento, ma dobbiamo imparare a governare le vele e pur sospinti dalla corrente indirizzare la rotta della nostra vita verso gli approdi prescelti”.
