honestly what you should really be taking away from the Komodo-dragons-actually-evolved-in-Australia thing is that the relatives of our good ol’ Komodo friends were much, much, MUCH bigger than their modern counterparts.

while the Komodo Dragons were still nameless lizards bodysurfing through the open Pacific towards the island that would give them their name, their relative Megalania was still fuckin’ it up in the Australian homeland!

Megalania, if you’re curious, was over 20 FEET long.

ironically though it was ultimately Megalania and most of its direct relatives that would end up in that big zoo in the sky, while the Komodo Dragon managed to carve a niche out for itself in its island home and avoid the fate of its relations.

i might actually cry/scream. i got about 2/3 of the way through writing out all of the recipes and hit save as draft, because it’s storming outside and i’m prone to losing power and didn’t want to lose my progress, and tumblr appears to have just? eaten my post??? it’s gone and i don’t know where it is????

i’ll try to get the recipes posted in the next few days, but right now i need to step away from the hellsite >.<

Jaskier gets injured/tortured and can't use his legs, geralt has to help him everywhere, then they get attacked by bandits and jaskier had to crawl away (is what I can remember) I don't think it was completed and I sWEAR I did make it up. (yes the males will kill cubs from other males, but the females... kind of play along with this, in a brutal survival-of-the-fittest kind of way.)
