codyrhodesfan: guys what the actual fuck was that. for those that aren't watching live cody just made a massive slip.
he was doing a promo following the events at the elimination chamber calling out john cena.
"after what john cena, travis scott and the rock did to me i can barely recognise myself, people have been asking me what happened, people have been so worried about me, my children- shit", he started laughing shaking his head, "well yeah my children don't recognise me".
he finished the promo but it was obvious that he was stressed about what he had said, he was pictured on a phonecall out the back of the arena.

Love Story
Requested by Anonymous
Pairing: '08!Cody Rhodes x fem!reader
Genre: Slight Angst, Fluff
Characters: Cody, Y/N, Lita
Description: Y/N and Cody have been inseparable since they were kids. Over the years, Y/N has developed feelings for Cody, which have blossomed into love. When Y/N gets backed into a corner about why she hasn't dated, she hasn't got a way out other than to tell Cody the truth.
Everyone around you has always wondered why you hadn't dated anybody. You always told them it was because you weren't interested in that. Truth is, you were interested in just one person in particular: Cody Rhodes. You had grown up together, lived next to each other and practically spent every day with one another. You couldn't quite pinpoint when you started developing feelings for him, but you knew you could never tell him. The fear of ruining your friendship was a heavy burden you carried.
You were overjoyed when Cody joined WWE. He was making his dreams come true. You were even more happy when he asked you to go with him. "Of course, I will! I can't wait to share this experience with you!" You wrapped your arms around his waist and gave him a hug. Since then, both of your lives have been a whirlwind. Cody was propelled into stardom in the wrestling world whilst you also joined the industry, working backstage. Of course, you mainly worked with Cody, making sure his costumes were ready for each show, but you did have time for other wrestlers. They also caught on with your non-existent dating life.
"So, Y/N, are you just scared of dating, or are you really a nun? I mean, seriously, any man out there would be crazy to not date you; you just choose not to. I would not pass up on anything if I looked like you." You chuckled at Lita's comments, straightening out her outfit for the current show as she was due out in half an hour. "No, it's nothing like that. I'm just not interested." Lita scoffed and walked over to you, looking at you dead in the eyes. "No, that's not it. There is someone. C'mon, spill!" Shaking your head, you turned away, but Lita caught your hand. "You're not getting away that easy." You fought so hard in your head whether to tell her or not; after all, she is the one friend you have always trusted. You held your hands up in defeat, smiling. "Alright, you broke me. But you cannot tell anyone." She smiled back at you and crossed an X over her heart. "I won't tell a soul." You took a deep breath and readied yourself. "It's...it's Cody. I have had feelings for Cody for as long as I can remember. We grew up and did everything together, so my feelings blossomed there. In fact, I think I might actually love him. That's why I haven't dated; I knew there would be no point because there'd be no future in it, not with how I feel about him." Lita smiled so wide and gave you a hug. "I'm so glad you told me; at least now I know you're not a nun or something like that." You chuckled as you made your way out of the room to ready up another wrestler. However, when you opened the door the rest of the way, you were met with a large body standing in your way.
You looked up, and your eyes widened when you saw it was Cody. A fiery blush immediately appeared on your cheeks. "P-please tell me you didn't hear that." Cody looked down at you and nodded his head. "I did, Y/N. But I don't want to have this conversation out in the hall. Let's go to my locker room." You nodded and followed Cody as he led the way. Pangs of sadness and anxiety washed over you. All of the work you put into him not finding out had just been undone; you could have just lost the best friend you ever had, and it hurt like hell.
He opened the door to his locker room and let you enter first before closing the door. "So.. about what I heard." You put a hand up to stop him. "I didn't plan on you finding out how I feel, but I'd best tell you everything. I've liked you since we were little kids, and no matter how hard I try, the tragic part is that I don't think I could ever stop, even if I wanted to. Because....because we both know you don't feel the same way." You looked down at your feet, solemn and sad. You had just poured your feelings out to someone you hoped never to find out. To your surprise, though, he started walking towards you with a soft smile. He placed his thumb and finger under your chin and lifted your head to look at him. "Who said that I don't feel the same? I don't believe we've ever had that conversation. What ever made you think that I wouldn't feel the same?" Your eyes brightened at his questions. Does he feel the same for you? The excitement began to bubble up inside you as your lips curled into a smile.
"I just assumed that you would always see me as your best friend. When you came here, I thought you would meet the woman of your dreams, and I never wanted to get in the way of that." His hand moved from your chin to your cheek, the warmness of his contact eliciting a sigh from you. "First things first, you would never get in the way of anything; you are the most important person in my life. Second, I met the woman of my dreams when we were kids. Our friendship blossomed into something more; the other didn't know of the feelings brewing between the two. I don't see you as my best friend but as someone more. You are the one for me, Y/N, and always have been." Cody looked into your eyes before slowly lowering and attaching his lips to yours. Passion flooded your body; everything you had ever dreamed of was finally coming true. Your hand wrapped around his neck as Cody pulled you further into him, hands wrapping around your body. Reluctantly, you both pulled away but with smiles on your faces.
"You have no idea how long I've been waiting to do that, Y/N." You arched an eyebrow at him. "Errm, I think I do." He chuckled and pecked another kiss on your lips before letting go and taking your hand in his. "Hold on, is that why you never dated anyone, because of how you feel about me?" "Guilty as charged." You smiled as Cody laughed at your silliness and opened the door for you to exit first, hand-in-hand.
You always expected that letting Cody know how you felt about him would ruin everything, but it turned out that it was the best thing you could have ever done.

I Love Loving You
Cody Rhodes x Black OC

Previous One-Shots: When a Man Loves a Woman and When a Woman Loves a Man
Summary: Cody and Charm Rhodes have built a life together that most people envy—a successful marriage, thriving careers, and a growing family.
Cody, Charm and their two children, Cherish, 4, and Carter, 3, were a picture of family warmth as they arrived at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta for the WWE Raw event. The camera crew had captured their arrival in a montage of talent making their way through the bustling arena, and the moment was a heartwarming addition to the show’s opening.
Charm, on the other hand, carried Carter with the same tenderness, his little legs draped around her waist while his curious eyes bounced between the surroundings, taking in the sight of all the people and excitement around him.
Once inside the arena and through the maze of backstage corridors, the family entered the talent area. The camera crew, having captured enough footage for the moment, walked away, leaving them to themselves. Charm gently lowered Carter to the ground, letting him stumble on his own two feet as he wobbled toward his sister. Cherish, already full of energy, giggled and ran toward him, her small hand reaching for his, and together they skipped off to explore the wonders of the backstage world.
Cody and Charm had long been familiar with the backstages of these shows, but it was a different experience today, as they juggled their roles as parents with Cody’s professional obligations tonight. They made their way over to a nearby area where WWE’s photographer had set up for a quick family photo session. The click of the camera was like a familiar sound, one that punctuated the life they had built together, memories in the making. As the kids posed in front of the camera, they both held a mixture of curiosity and excitement, the weight of the moment lost on them as they smiled for the lens.
After the photoshoot, Cody made his way to a separate area to sign some posters. Charm stood nearby, her eyes scanning the room, her fingers absently smoothing over the small baby bump that she had been gently protecting for the last few months. At fourteen weeks, she wasn’t yet showing much, but the pregnancy was already becoming real in every moment that passed.
While Cody signed his merchandise, Charm took a moment to catch her breath. With the kids kept busy by the excitement of the moment, she glanced around the backstage area, her gaze landing on someone familiar. The sight made her smile widely, her face lighting up with joy. It was Trinity, her best friend of over fifteen years. The two women had been through everything together—the highs, the lows, the challenges, and the celebrations—and in an instant, they were back in each other's arms, laughing and talking like they had not just seen each other a week ago.
Trinity squealed, her voice full of excitement as she rushed to embrace Charm. The moment felt both nostalgic and effortless, a testament to the strength of their bond. As they hugged, Trinity’s eyes fell to the small bump that Charm was already trying to hide.
“You’re glowing,” Trinity said, rubbing her hand over the curve of Charm’s belly. “How’s everything going?”
“Everything’s going great,” Charm replied, her voice light. “Just dealing with the chaos of life and making sure the kids don’t destroy everything in their path.”
Trinity chuckled, eyes sparkling with mischief. “I’m sure. These two are a handful, huh?” She knelt down to hug Cherish and Carter, both of whom practically tackled her in excitement.
“Are you wrestling tonight?” Cherish asked, her innocent voice laced with curiosity as she looked up at Trinity.
“Yes, I am,” Trinity responded, her smile broadening. “I’ll be out there, kicking butt just like always.”
“Are you gonna win?” Carter piped up.
Trinity laughed, her voice warm and confident. “Of course, I’m gonna win. I’m gonna make it look easy too.”
Meanwhile, Cody had finished with his signing session and came over to greet Trinity, his attention momentarily pulled away by the need to tend to his professional duties. “Hey, I gotta go film a segment,” he told Charm, kissing her lightly on the cheek before disappearing down the corridor.
With Cody off to work, the conversation between Charm and Trinity turned to something far more personal—baby showers. Trinity was always the one to take charge of these kinds of things, and she wasted no time in telling her best friend about her plans for this one.
“So, I’ve started planning your baby shower,” Trinity said, a mischievous glint in her eyes. “And the theme... ‘Third Time’s a Charm.’”
Charm raised an eyebrow in amusement. “You’re already planning it, and I don’t even know the gender yet?”
“Oh, it’s a girl,” Trinity declared confidently, her eyes sparkling with certainty. “You just don’t know it yet, but I do. And trust me, I already know your fourth will be a boy.”
“Wait, fourth? Are you already planning for a fourth child?” Charm asked in disbelief, her laughter filling the space between them.
Trinity’s grin widened. “Cody can’t stay off of you. I know by 2027, number four will be on the way.”
Charm giggled in agreement. “Yeah, that man loves him some me,” she said, her voice filled with affection as she shook her head.
“You two are hopeless,” Trinity said, laughing as she threw an arm around Charm. “But your baby shower will be lit as always.”
As they laughed and continued their conversation, Joshua, Trinity’s brother-in-law and another close friend of the family came into view, and the kids erupted in joy at the sight of him. Carter ran straight to him, his little arms wrapping around Joshua’s neck in a tight hug.
“Hi, Uncle!” Cherish called out as she waved from a distance, her eyes bright with excitement.
Joshua grinned and walked over to Cherish. “Where’s my hug, Cherry Bear?” he teased, bending down to scoop her into his arms.
Cherish giggled, snuggling into his chest. “Uncle Josh, you’re silly!”
“I still don’t get why he’s the only one who gets to call her ‘Cherry Bear,’” Trinity said, a playful pout crossing her face.
Charm shrugged, her own grin wide. “That’s his nickname for her. She doesn’t play about her Uncle Josh. He’s got special privileges.”
“But I was in the hospital when she was born,” Trinity pointed out. “Where’s my special privileges?”
Joshua laughed, ruffling Cherish’s hair. “Looks like Auntie Trin’s jealous of me, Cherry Bear.”
Cherish, looking concerned, quickly turned to Trinity and gave her a big hug. “Don’t be sad, Auntie Trin.”
Trinity laughed, wrapping her arms around the little girl. “I’m not sad, baby. I’m just messing with your Uncle Josh.”
As the playful banter continued, Joshua’s attention shifted back to Charm. “So, Charm, what are you naming this one?”
“Crack,” Charm replied, her voice full of playful sarcasm.
Joshua raised an eyebrow. “You’re not naming my niece after crack.”
“Oh, so you think it’s a girl too?” Charm asked, smirking.
“Well, yeah,” Joshua said, nodding confidently. “It’s a pattern: girl, boy, girl, boy. So obviously, this one’s a girl.”
Trinity chimed in with a knowing smile. “See? Everyone knows you two have a pattern.”
“Are we that predictable?” Charm asked.
“Yes,” Joshua and Trinity answered.
Charm playfully pouted. “Whatever. So, what’s the plan for Saturday?” Charm asked the two.
With the Royal Rumble just around the corner, conversation shifted to the big event. Trinity and Joshua talked excitedly about their gear for the Rumble, their anticipation building as the week drew closer. Afterwards, Joshua and Trinity left to get ready for their own programs tonight.
Meanwhile, Charm took the kids around the backstage area, snapping pictures of them meeting celebrities like Kai Cenat and chatting with staff members.
Eventually, they made their way to the seating area backstage to watch the show unfold. Charm couldn’t help but be captivated as she watched Cody in the ring, his promo commanding the attention of everyone in the arena. She admired him as he worked his magic, her heart swelling with pride. As Cody finished his segment and made his way back to the gorilla position, she stood up, her eyes searching for him.
When their eyes met, she smiled, and he began walking toward her. Meeting him halfway, they shared a brief but loving embrace.
“You were great out there,” Charm said, her voice soft and filled with affection.
“Thank you,” Cody said, a grin forming on his face as he pulled her closer. He kissed her forehead, holding her for a moment longer.
“Come on, let’s get the kids and head home,” he said, offering her his hand.
The drive home was quiet, peaceful, as they settled into their routine. It didn’t take long for them to arrive at their house, and as they entered, Cody scooped Charm up in his arms and carried her upstairs toward their bedroom.
With a smile on her face, Charm wrapped her arms around his neck, holding him close as they ascended the stairs. When they reached their bedroom, Cody carefully laid her down on their king-sized bed. He promised to get the kids ready for bed, and she smiled up at him, pulling him down for a quick kiss.
After he left to tend to the kids, Charm made her way to the bathroom for a quick shower. When she returned, she found Cody starting to take off his suit. She smiled and called out to him.
“Go take a shower, and when you’re done, I’ll give you a massage,” she said, her voice warm with love.
“Sounds perfect,” Cody replied, his eyes soft with affection as he gave her a quick nod before heading toward the bathroom.
And just like that, the day came to a close. Another chapter in the journey of their busy, yet beautiful life.

Those eyes.
★ pairing: cody rhodes x fem!reader
★ genre: fluff
★ word count: 535 (short sorry ik😭)
i apologise in advance for this train wreck, this is my first time writing any sort of fanfiction and open for suggestions moving forward <33
—————————————————————
You sat down at the café table by the large window looking out onto the streets. You saw couples walking together holding hands and laughing, staring into each others eyes lovingly. You sighed. “One day I wish someone looked at me like that.” You mumbled underneath your breath. You grew tired of feeling lonely from looking out the window so you put your focus onto the walls of the café fascinated by the different types of paintings hung up on the walls.
That’s when your eyes landed on him. He was staring at you. Intensely. You stared back trying to figure out what was going on behind those deep blue eyes that seemed to sparkle from the light coming in from the window above. You could feel yourself slowly drifting away getting lost in his eyes, they were so pretty. Were they hypnotising you somehow? He probably thought this was just a fun staring contest. You could see his mouth move into a playful smirk, which lead you to study his whole face.
“Wow he’s actually really hot.” You thought to yourself, your mind wandering off imaging other explicit things. Forgetting that you were still quite literally staring into his soul. You could feel your cheeks burning and you finally snapped out of it looking away from the handsome mysterious man, who still seemed to keep his eyes on you.
While you gazed out the window again you felt a finger tapping you on your shoulder. You turned towards the place you were tapped jumping a little seeing how close this guy was standing beside you.
“Oh,” he let out a little pity laugh. “Didn’t mean you scare you a little.” His voice was deep and a little raspy. He gave a quick genuine smile, and you noticed how perfect his teeth was.
“I just wanted to say how absolutely beautiful you are.”
You stared into his eyes quickly pulling away seeming overwhelmed as you blushed again, turning your focus down onto your hands playing with your rings. You could still feel his eyes on you.
You took a short breathe and mustered up the courage to look him back in his beautiful eyes.
“Thank you, that means a lot to me” You say with a smile playing at your lips. “You’re really handsome yourself might I say. My name is y/n, would you care to sit?”
“I’m Cody, lovely to meet you miss y/n. I’d love to sit, who would ever pass up on an offer to sit with such a stunning girl like you?” Cody winked and took a seat opposite you, admiring you, he knew there was something beautiful that was going to come out of this.
“Before we take this conversation any further,” you quickly spoke, his ocean eyes staring at your curiously. “Who would win batman or superman?” You said in a sarcastic like tone.
He let out a cute little chuckle. This man was perfect and yet you hardly even knew him, but hopefully that would change. He had a comforting aura about him, like he’d be perfect to cuddle up with on a freezing day.
Cody stared at you and smiled, “I mean the quite obvious answer is-“

Wrong Name 3|3 - Cody RHODES
Cody Rhodes X Reader
•
PART 1 (×) - Reader's backstage watching her boyfriend, (Colby Lopez) Seth Rollins' HIAC match against his
PART 2 (×) - Reader goes to check up on Cody Rhodes while her relationship with Colby Lopez hangs in the balance after a little mix-up
•
Y|N comes home to a surprise vist from an ex - TIME SKIP
•
I smiled, as I walked back up to my house, with Derrick close behind. "I had a good time, tonight."
It had been months since I had ended my relationship with Colby.
And since I had seen or heard anything from Cody.
Except for the occasional calls and texts I would get from Cody, and by occasional I mean frequent.
So frequent that I had to change my number to stop his calls.
I mean, I did try blocking him for a while but he'd eventually start to use his brother's phone to get in contact with me.
The point is, it was getting to be too much so lile I said I just changed my number all together, and I made sure to not give it to Dustin.
As for my socials, I been blocked Cody from those.
It wasn't easy, and it most definitely wasn't something I wanted to do but I had to do it.
I couldn't stand to hear his voice.
He had ruined everything for me.
My relationship with Colby was over because he just had to confess his love to me, which in return brought up these feelings I had tried so hard to suppress, back to the surface.
And since those feelings for him was back, there was zero chance of me staying with Colby.
One, I'm not that type of girl.
And two, I'm too weak for that game.
Then, when I tried to take a chance, and went to see Cody at the hospital before his surgery, his wife was there.
His fucking wife.
Who confesses their love to their ex girlfriend who they haven't seen in almost four years, when they're still married?
Cody Garrett Runnels, that's who.
Fucking jerk.
The only bright side of this whole mess, is Cody has no idea where I now live, I thought to myself.
"Did you hear me?" Derrick asked, a confused look on his face.
I shook my head, truthfully letting Derrick know that I in fact did not hear a word he had just said. "No."
Derrick chuckled. "I was just saying how I've been enjoying going out with you." He smiled, repeating himself.
"Oh." I nodded, not sure of how I wanted to respond.
I didn't even know how hearing Derrick say that made me feel.
When Cody said things like that to me, my heart would just melt.
But Derrick? I felt nothing.
Probably because you keep comparing him to your ex, idiot.
Derrick has taken me out on three dates and everytime I've done the same thing.
Get in my head about how Cody used to do this or how Cody used to do that.
How Derrick is nothing like Cody.
And you wonder why you can't fully move on.
"Y|N." Derrick said, a frustrated tone in his voice now, probably from me zoning out so much. "Is there something wrong?"
"No," I immediately, replied, reaching out and grabbing his hand. "I was just um..." I paused for a second, trying to get a lie together. "I was just trying to find the right way to ask if you wanted to come inside but everytime I would try to ask the words wouldn't come out." I lied, applauding myself on my quick thinking.
Again, Derrick chuckled, stroking my hand with his thumb. "I didn't know I made you that nervous."
Because you don't.
"Me either." I replied, with a forced giggle. "So, is that a yes or no?" I questioned, praying to myself that it would be no.
Like, don't get me wrong, I enjoy spending time with Derrick, but I'm not trying to do anything that will complicate my feelings even more than they already are.
"You seriously think I'm gonna turn down spending even more time with my girl?"
I was hoping.
Instead of answering my date, I simply grabbed my keys from my purse, then turned around and unlocked my front door.
Almost immediately after both Derrick and I had crossed the threshold a familiar scent had entered my nose.
Where did I remember that scent from?
But before I could think, I felt Derrick's arms snake around my waist, pulling me into him.
Okay, what the fuck?
With another forced giggle, placing my hand between me and him, to give myself a bit of space and before I could ask anything Derrick's lips crashed into mines.
Seriously, what the actual fuck?
My eyes widened as I surprised myself by kissing back.
I mean, the kiss was actually kind of pleasant.
It just lacked passion.
And was more sloppy unlike when Co-
I mentally slapped that thought away, slowly finding myself getting into the kiss even more.
I just could shake that smell.
Was it getting stronger?
What did it remind me of though?
Think Y|N, think.
"Ahem..." I heard someone clear their throat, causing me to immediately pull back from Derrick.
Cody's favorite cologne.
"Um..." Derrick began saying, confusion in his eyes. "What's going on?"
I breathed deeply, balling my hands into a fist as I turned around.
There he was.
Holding my dog.
With a smirk on his face.
"Cody..." I mumbled through clenched teeth.
"Missed me?" Cody asked, his smirk getting bigger.
I narrowed my eyes at him, but before I could shoot a question back at him, like why was he in my house, or how did he even find out where I lived, Derrick spoke up, coming to stand in front of me as if he was ready to protect me if a threat happened.
Was he really going to try to square up with a wrestler?
"What's Cody Rhodes doing in your house?" Derrick asked again, his eyes locked on my ex boyfriend. "Did you break in?" He spoke up again, this time questioning Cody.
I pushed my way in front of Derrick so that I was in between the two guys. "He's a friend that stops by when he's in town." I lied for the second time today.
Or was it the third time?
Damn, I've lied one too many times today, I've lost count.
"Oh." Derrick nodded, finally taking his eyes off Cody, giving me his full attention. "Well can you ask him to leave?" He asked me, a pleading look in his eyes. "We were kinda in the middle of something."
I sighed. "Cod-"
"But I came all this way to spend some time with my ba-" Cody swallowed, catching his almost slip up. "With Y|N." He corrected, before adding. "I took a four hour flight, then had to drive an hour and a half just to se-"
"Shut up." I groaned interrupting Cody before looking at Derrick. "I'm sorry but I don't get to see him often." I apologized, biting my lip.
Derrick nodded, frustration on him face and in his voice. "I get it." He said, turning his back to me, to make his way out the door.
"I'll make it up to you, Derrick." I called out to him, as I followed, stopping in the doorway. "I promise."
I slowly closed the door, resting my head against it, my eyes shut tight.
Cody.
Cody.
Cody.
"Do you get excitement from ruining everything I have going for me?" I asked Cody, while I was still turned towards the door.
Cody stayed silent, promoting me to turn and face him.
"Do you, Cody?" I asked, feeling tears beginning to sting at my eyes a they rolled down my cheek.
Cody sighed, ignoring what I ha asked him. "You know I can't stand to see you cry, Y|N."
"Then get the fuck out of my house." I said, going over to him, taking my dog away from. "Go." I added, pointing to the door.
"I can't." Cody replied, shaking his head. "Not again."
I narrowed my eyes at him, as I bent down to place my dog down on the floor, getting a bit jealous as she ran right back to Cody. "Luna still remembers you."
Cody smiled, as she cuddled close to his chest. "I am her dad."
"Just because you went with me to adopt her doesn't mean she's yours too." I said, crossing my arms, almost immediately realizing I was getting off topic. "But that's not what we need to be talking about right now," I sighed, my tone serious. "Why can't you leave?"
"Because, Y|N..." Cody began, taking a seat on my couch.
I didn't tell you, you can sit, but whatever.
"That's what we've always done in the past. You get mad at me, tell me to go and like the idiot I sometimes am, I do." He continued. "Then months or years go by with me missing you, wondering if I'd ever have a chance to right whatever wrong I did."
I crossed my arms across my chest, giving him a glare. "That's bullshit." I spat, after hearing what he had to say. "You have never spent years missing me," I added. "You probably never even spent months missing me considering how fast you move on."
"Moving on doesn't mean I don't miss you, Y|N." Cody sighed. "I just didn't realize until you kissed me that night after Hell In A Cell, that I missed you as more than a friend." He stopped talking for a second, looking at me. "I missed you being my girl."
I missed being your girl too
Cody continued to look at me, and in this moment it felt like he was staring directly into my soul.
I smiled, drying the last of my tears with the back of my hand. "It mad me realize I missed you too Cody, as more than a friend." I admitted, sitting on the couch, making sure to leave a good amout of space between me and him. "I wanted to tell you months ago when I came to see you before your surgery but then I saw your wife there and I figured I was wasting my time."
"That ended over a year ago."
"That's what I thought too." I replied to what Cody had just said about his marriage. "But the way you and her seemed at the hospital. It just..." I bit at the inside of my cheek, feeling myself getting chocked up again. "It made me feel like she was stealing the love of my life away from me again."
Cody smirked, scooting closer. "I'm still the love of your life..?"
"Yes." I answered, covering my face. "As much as I hate to admit it, yes, you lve always been the love of my life."
Instead of replying right away, Cody just pulled me I'm for a quick, yet sweet kiss.
His kisses were always the best but maybe I've just always been biased considering my feelings towards him.
"You've always been mines too, Y|N." He finally said, leaning in to kiss me again.
I still didn't know how Cody found me but one thing I do know is, I definitely won't be making it up to Derrick.

NOT MY BEST BUT I TRIED at least it's a happy ending tho 😅😪

You need Cody right after a match.
a/n— My first Cody blurb, I need him so bad, had to whip this up rq.
Your boyfriend Cody, spent the entire day rehearsing his match and promos. You stood at ringside, watching on as his muscles flexed each time he moved. He was so fucking hot, and you couldn’t help but admire him. You needed him, but was in his element, you couldn’t distract him.
By the time Raw had began airing, he was out cutting a promo, the fans just as wild as you. Except, something else was wild for him. Your teeth sunk into your bottom lip as you watched him pace in the ring, his neck tattoo you craved to lick on full display.
When the bell rang, he immediately got the upper hand, dishing out punishment on his opponent. Punishment you craved for your pussy. Maybe it was your ovulation—whatever it was, it had you feeling like you’d die without his dick inside you.
Cody won the match and the referee held his arm up in victory. Your core throbbed in anticipation as he made his way to the back, his steps deliberate. As soon as the door to the room opened, you pounced on him, your lips all over his face and lips.
“Baby, what’s gotten into you? I’m all sweaty,” Cody muttered into your kisses.
“I don’t care, I need you. Sweat and all, let it drip all over me, I don’t care, just fuck me. Please,” you pleaded.
His eyes darkened at your words, he could practically smell you dripping for him. “So fucking desperate for me, I’ll give you what you want.”
And that’s exactly what he did.
Cody had you bent over a chair, his gear ripped off by you and his hard cock buried inside you. Your panties were ripped and he slammed into you from behind, his cock stretching you out. You hoped the distant cheering from the fans masked your loud moans as he absolutely ravished you.
“This is what you wanted? Huh? To get fucked like a slut?”
You nodded frantically, your pussy clenching tightly around his cock as he angled into you even deeper. If it wasn’t for his grip on your curls, you would’ve toppled over.
He slapped your ass and you cried out. “Y-yes sir! This is what I wanted.”
You knew he was smirking behind you and in your last act of boldness, you pushed back against him, fucking yourself on his cock.
“That’s a good girl. You should see how your pussy’s just creaming on my dick.”
His words sent a ripple through you and your body convulsed, an intense orgasm hitting you like a truck.
“Good fucking girl,” he murmured, but he wasn’t finished with you.
He lifted and carried you to the couch in the corner of the room. A cry left your lips as he sank into your pussy once again, immediately finding your sweet spot. You drooled as he hovered over you—Cody was a greek god, one you would be happy to worship every single day. The sweat made his muscles glisten and he wrapped a large hand around your neck, making your pussy twitch in excitement.
Your body jolted as he slammed into your pussy and his grip around your neck tightened. “You feel so fucking good. So tight, so wet, fucking perfect for me.
You held his dark gaze, wrapped your arms around his neck and grinding against him, meeting his thrusts. His sweat dripping all over you made you moan and you reached up, licking the tattoo on his neck.
“My dirty fucking girl,” he said, darkly.
One of his hands pressed against your abdomen, making you moan so loud, you knew anyone passing by would hear. “Feel how deep I am inside you? Only my cock can get that far. I fucking own you.”
“You own me,” you echoed, your nails now digging into his back.
“Cum on my cock, cum with me.”
With a loud cry, you squirted on his cock, soaking both him and the couch as he continued to pound into your aching pussy.
“Fucking hell, what a good girl just squirting for me like that.”
His orgasm followed immediately after and he pushed deep inside you, his cum filling your ovulating womb to the brim.
He leaned down and whispered in your ear, his thrusts slower and deeper. “I’m gonna get you fucking pregnant.”

Fight Me Pt. 2
Cody Rhodes x reader
TW: Mentions of insecurity (on both ends), mentions of sex, blood and injury, a little dash of Jey in there, Punk being a protective baddie 💅
Tags: @reebs-luvs-rhodes-and-wrestling
═══════•°• ⚠ •°•═══════
The night in Y/N’s trailer went by in a whirlwind of ripped off clothing and breathy moans. Another thing she could add to the list of things she hated about Cody Rhodes. He’s fantastic in bed. She despised the fact that he seemed to navigate her body with ease. He knew exactly what to do to make her react. Every spot he knew would make her toes curl. She could sit there and complain about how insufferable he is all she wants, but when it really comes down to it, he knows what he’s doing.
What surprised her the most was afterwards, he stayed with her. He could’ve got dressed in silence and just walked out, but he stayed with her. He wrapped his arms around her as they lay next to each other. Both of them were lost in thought and completely confused by what had happened, but neither of them could find the courage to leave or separate until the event was over.
They didn’t speak, but the new uncertainty in the air did most of the conversing for them. The only thing that got Cody to leave was when his phone started to ring with a call from Paul asking where he was since it was time for his interview. Y/N knew it was only a matter of time before she got the same call, so the two of them parted ways without so much as an awkward goodbye.
Things have only gotten progressively more uncomfortable as time has gone on. Both of them have been included in joint interviews for the past couple of days for more promo work and to discuss their most recent fifth, but the tension that now resides between them is completely different than it was before.
They throw glares at one another, cut each other off, say snide things, but it’s not as biting as the world has become accustomed to. It’s turned into a real head scratcher for the higher ups and the people closest to the two superstars. Everyone is trying to figure out what suddenly snuffed out the boiling hatred between the two.
Y/N herself is asking the same question as she completes her fourth set of reverse bicep curls at the hotel gym they are staying at for the next event at SmackDown. It’s currently four in the morning as she stands there, sweating whatever hydration she had out of her body. She hasn’t been able to sleep fully since what happened with Cody. Her mind has been running at an untameable speed as she tries to wrap her head around the complicated feelings that have now infiltrated their relationship.
Things might have been able to go back to normal or at least some semblance of normal if they had talked about it afterward, but they hadn’t. In fact, they haven’t spoken to each other personally since. Of course, they’ve interacted in front of the press and in front of audiences, but not with each other. As soon as they’re away from prying eyes, Cody disappears and pretends she doesn’t exist. Which is hilarious considering that is all she has been wishing for since she met the man.
But now all she wants is for him to spare at least one glance in her direction.
Y/N’s never been the type to place her self worth in the palm of a man’s hand. Even when she was a teenager, she never needed validation from a person she liked. She was naturally confident, sure of herself. So it physically pains her when she catches her mind wandering to Cody when she’s doing pretty much anything. She wants to know what he’s thinking, if he’s dwelling on things as much as she is, or if the reason he’s ignoring her altogether is because maybe he didn’t enjoy it.
She lets out a loud grunt of frustration as she drops her barbell to the floor with a loud thud. She clenches her firsts tightly when she looks at herself in the mirror. Where she would normally see a confident, radiant woman, stands someone she’s having a hard time recognizing. The bags under her eyes are more prominent than ever, the usual spark that emanates from her smile is hidden behind the small frown that’s been more prominent in recent days.
Could she possibly have been that bad that he didn’t even want to fight with her anymore? That all the tension and feuding they worked hard to build amounted to nothing because of that one night? He couldn’t even look at her.
Y/N bites the inside of her cheek harshly, trying to prevent herself from getting emotional. I am worthy. I am enough. She mentally reminds herself, but it still doesn’t soothe the small ache in her chest. She had a few more exercises to do before completing her workout, but at this point she doesn’t see a point. She can’t focus.
She goes to gather her things, her movements sluggish as she fights off her self-demeaning thoughts. However, the breath in her lungs is suddenly stolen from her when she looks back up and through the mirror she sees the exact man that has emotionally destroyed her without saying a word.
His platinum blonde hair almost glistens under the harsh light of the gym. He looks shocked for a moment, but it’s quickly covered by the impassive expression he’s been sporting since they had sex. Y/N feels her mouth go dry and all of the things she had rehearsed in her head to say to him dissolved like they never existed. She feels small under his gaze, something she’s not used to either. Most of her career has been spent trying to put herself above the American Nightmare. But the way he’s looking at her right now makes her cross her arms and her posture slouch, almost as if she’s hiding herself from him.
Her throat feels tight, like a boa constrictor is settling nicely on her windpipe. Her feet begin to move before her mind even registers what’s happening. She brushes past him quickly, a mousey “excuse me” being the only thing that leaves her lips.
She can feel the tears stinging behind her eyes, but she won’t give him the satisfaction of seeing how torn up she is inside. The only person that is allowed to be privy to her is her. He doesn’t get to know how insecure he’s made her by simply ignoring her.
Just as she’s about to be free of the suddenly awkward environment, a hand wraps around her wrist. A small gasp escapes her as she spins around. His grip on her is tight, but not rough. He’s holding her gently, like he’s unsure if he should really be doing this. Y/N finally meets his blue eyes after not being able to even get him to make eye contact for days and it’s completely overwhelming. She’s sad, angry, hurt. She wants nothing more than to finish her escape and go get ready for her long day before having a match later that night.
She tries to pull herself away, “Let me go,” she demands quietly.
Cody is taken aback by the small crack in her voice. Normally when she speaks to him it’s filled with such animosity. She’s usually so loud, not afraid of voicing her thoughts. But this… this is new. The small quiver in her lip, the tears bordering at her waterline, her inability to make eye contact. This isn’t the Y/N L/N he knew.
She pulls again, but he won’t budge. “Please…” she pleads, hating how vulnerable she feels. “Let me go, Rhodes.” She spats out his name with venom, trying to cover up how hurt she’s been.
The way she says his last name is like a slap to the face, but he doesn’t remove his hand from her wrist. He hadn’t expected to see her, but when he did, it was like his brain stopped working. He watched her gather her stuff after completing her set, seemingly abandoning the rest of her workout. Which he knew was uncharacteristic of her. Y/N never gave up on completing a gym session, even after getting battered and bruised in the ring. And deep down, he knew he was the cause of her loss in motivation.
Even the way she’s been cutting promos recently. Normally, everyone has an easy time believing her cocky demeanor. She’s a phenomenal actress if anything, but lately it doesn’t seem like she even believes what she’s saying.
He finally exhales, “Y/N–”
“I said let go of me,” she reiterates, sounding more angry by the second. “I don’t want to talk to you.”
A lie.
Cody’s grip doesn’t loosen, but it’s not rough. It’s firm, steady—like he’s making sure she doesn’t just disappear before he can figure out what the hell is happening. He knows she wants to talk to him. The same way he’s been wanting to talk to her. Y/N swallows hard, her jaw clenched so tight it might crack. She refuses to look at him, her fingers curling into fists at her sides.
“Y/N,” Cody tries again, his voice lower now, more hesitant.
“Don’t,” she snaps, yanking at her wrist again. But he doesn’t let go. “Just let me leave.”
“Why?” He tilts his head, studying her, and it pisses her off how calm he sounds. Like she’s the one being irrational.
She scoffs, finally jerking her head up to glare at him. “Are you serious?”
Cody doesn’t answer right away, his gaze scanning her face like he’s trying to put together a puzzle he didn’t even know existed. She can feel the heat creeping up her neck, her emotions bubbling dangerously close to the surface.
“You’ve been ignoring me for days, and now what?” she challenges, her voice shaking despite her best efforts. “You suddenly remember I exist?”
His brows knit together. “I haven’t been ignoring you.”
Y/N laughs, short and humorless. “Oh, really? So the whole ‘pretending I’m invisible unless we’re on camera’ thing was just my imagination?”
Cody sighs through his nose, shaking his head. “I wasn’t—look, I just figured it was easier that way.”
“Easier?” She repeats, her voice rising slightly.
“Yeah.” He exhales, finally letting go of her wrist, but not stepping back. “I thought that’s what you wanted. What we’ve always wanted—keeping our distance.”
Y/N’s stomach twists at that. He’s not wrong. She’s spent years pushing him away, making it clear how much she loathes him. But this is different. This isn’t her usual hatred. This isn’t some petty rivalry anymore. This is something she doesn’t know how to deal with, something that’s been gnawing at her since that night in her trailer.
And he just… walked away from it like it meant nothing.
Her lips press into a thin line. “Right. And that’s why you suddenly feel the need to talk to me at four in the damn morning?”
Cody shrugs, arms crossing over his chest. “Saw you in here. Figured we should talk.”
“Well, we shouldn’t,” she snaps. “We’re done here.”
She turns to leave again, but he steps in front of her, blocking her path. “Y/N, c’mon.”
Her patience is wearing thin, the exhaustion and frustration building inside her like a volcano ready to erupt. “Move.”
“Not until you tell me what the hell is going on with you.”
She lets out a sharp breath, hands trembling at her sides. “There is nothing going on with me.”
Cody gives her a look, that infuriating mix of skepticism and mild amusement that makes her want to slap it right off his face. “Bullshit.”
She stiffens. “Excuse me?”
“You heard me.” His arms drop back to his sides, and his voice loses that careful edge. “You’ve been acting weird. Everyone’s noticed. The promos, the interviews—you’re not yourself.”
“Oh, so you do pay attention?” she fires back, the anger bubbling higher now. “Could’ve fooled me.”
Cody runs a hand over his face, exhaling sharply. “Jesus, Y/N, what do you want from me?”
“I don’t want anything from you!” she snaps, her voice cracking slightly. “That’s the whole point!”
He scoffs. “Right. That’s why you’re acting like I personally offended you by breathing.”
She clenches her jaw, willing herself to stay composed. But it’s useless. The emotions, the exhaustion, the hurt—it’s all too much. And before she can stop it, she feels the sting in her eyes, the burn at the back of her throat.
Cody’s eyes flicker slightly, the shift in her expression not lost on him. “Y/N—”
“No,” she mutters, shaking her head. “I’m not doing this. I– I can’t do this.”
She turns away quickly, but this time he doesn’t stop her. She barely makes it to the door before the first tear rolls down her cheek, and she curses under her breath, swiping at it angrily.
She won’t let him see.
She won’t let him know how much he got to her.
Thankfully, she didn’t see Cody again after that until SmackDown. Even then, she hadn’t actually seen him. She’d successfully managed to stay out of the American Nightmare’s presence which she couldn’t be more grateful for.
Y/N stands by the monitor, arms crossed, trying to focus on the match playing out in the ring. The energy of the arena is buzzing around her, but it all feels distant—like she’s underwater, barely processing anything beyond the static in her own head. Her shoulders are tense, jaw clenched tight. She needs to pull herself together before her match.
“You good?”
The voice snaps her out of her daze, and she turns to see CM Punk standing next to her, his expression unreadable but his eyes sharp, observant.
“I’m fine,” she answers automatically, too quickly.
Punk doesn’t buy it for a second. “Yeah, see, that was about as convincing as a fake apology on Twitter.”
She exhales through her nose, shaking her head. “I’m just tired.”
Punk hums, unconvinced. “Right. ‘Cause you’re always this quiet before a match.”
“I’m fine,” she repeats, firmer this time.
Punk studies her, and she knows he’s not letting this go. He’s too good at reading people—especially the ones he cares about. She can feel his eyes scanning her face, searching for whatever she’s trying so hard to bury.
Then, like some cruel twist of fate, Cody walks by.
It’s brief. A second, maybe two. But that’s all it takes. Y/N’s eyes flicker to him, and for just a moment, something flashes across her face—something raw, something unresolved. And then, just as quickly, her expression hardens. She looks away, her posture stiffening like she’s forcing herself not to care.
But Punk sees it.
And suddenly, it all clicks.
His jaw tightens, but he doesn’t say anything. Not yet.
Instead, he lets out a breath and steps closer, lowering his voice. “Listen. I don’t know what’s going on, and I’m not gonna push you. But whenever you’re ready to talk, I’m here.”
She hesitates, and for a second, it looks like she might actually say something. But then she just nods, barely meeting his gaze.
Punk doesn’t push. He just pulls her into a quick hug, squeezing her shoulders before letting go. “Go kill it out there.”
Y/N forces a smirk. “Like you had to tell me.”
As soon as she walks away, Punk’s expression darkens. He rolls his shoulders, cracks his knuckles, and turns on his heel.
He’s got something to handle.
Cody is mid-stride down the hallway when Punk steps right into his path, cutting him off with the kind of confidence that says he doesn’t give a damn who Cody Rhodes is. Arms crossed, expression unreadable, but his eyes—his eyes are sharp, burning with something dangerously close to anger.
Cody exhales sharply through his nose, already irritated. “Something you need?”
Punk doesn’t waste a second. “Yeah. You to get your head out of your ass and fix whatever the hell you did to Y/N.”
Cody freezes for half a second—just half a second—but Punk sees it. The slight shift in his expression, the flicker of something in his eyes before his guard slams back into place.
Cody scoffs. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Punk’s jaw tightens. “Don’t bullshit me. I saw the way she looked at you.” He tilts his head, voice dropping lower. “Or rather, the way she wouldn’t look at you.”
Cody forces a smirk, but it doesn’t quite reach his eyes. “She and I don’t exactly have a friendly history, in case you forgot.”
“Oh, trust me, I didn’t forget.” Punk steps closer, voice sharp like a blade. “But that’s not what this is. This isn’t just bad blood. This is something else. And I don’t care what it is—I don’t wanna know. What I do know is that she’s not herself, and the only thing that changed is you.”
Cody clenches his jaw, looking past Punk like he’s trying to find a way out of this conversation. Because he can’t do this. He won’t do this.
Not with Punk. Not with anyone.
Because if he acknowledges what’s really happening—what’s always been happening—then he’ll have to admit that staying away from Y/N isn’t about hatred anymore.
It’s about survival.
Because if he doesn’t stay away, he knows damn well he won’t be able to stop himself from falling.
And that? That would be a mistake.
Punk’s voice drags him back. “You got something to say, Rhodes? Or are you just gonna stand there looking guilty as hell?”
Cody’s stomach twists, and before he can stop himself, his defenses snap up. “You act like it’s your business.”
That’s the wrong thing to say.
Punk laughs, but it’s humorless, sharp, like a warning before a storm. “See, that’s where you’re wrong. Because she is my business.” He leans in, his voice ice-cold now. “You don’t have to like me. Hell, you don’t even have to like her. But you will respect her. And you will fix whatever you broke.”
Cody exhales slowly through his nose, crossing his arms over his chest. “You really think threatening me is gonna change anything?”
Punk smirks, but there’s no real amusement behind it. “Oh, I don’t think—I know.” He taps a finger against Cody’s chest, just enough to be antagonizing. “See, I’ve been around long enough to know when a guy’s hiding something, and you? You’ve got ‘guilty conscience’ written all over your dumb, overly dramatic face.”
Cody’s fingers twitch at his sides, but he keeps his voice even. “And if I do?”
Punk raises an eyebrow. “If you do, then you’re even more of an idiot than I thought.” He scoffs, shaking his head. “You ever actually look at her, Rhodes? I mean, really look? She’s one of the best things to ever happen to this business, and here you are, playing your little brooding cowboy act, acting like you’re doing her some kind of favor by keeping her at arm’s length.”
Cody bristles, instinct screaming at him to push back, but Punk steamrolls right over him.
“Look, I don’t give a damn about your tragic backstory, your family legacy, or whatever self-sabotaging nonsense you’ve got rattling around in your head,” Punk continues, voice razor-sharp. “What I do care about is the fact that Y/N was fine until you showed up. And now? She’s walking around like she’s carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders.” He steps even closer, voice dropping to a deadly whisper. “And I do not like seeing her like that.”
Cody clenches his jaw so hard it aches. “She’s stronger than you think.”
Punk nods. “Yeah, she is. Stronger than both of us, probably. But that doesn’t mean she should have to be.” He lets the words hang in the air for a moment before adding, “And if you actually gave a shit, you’d already know that.”
Cody’s throat tightens. He hates how easily Punk is getting under his skin, hates that every single word is cutting deeper than he’d like to admit. But the worst part?
The worst part is that Punk is right.
He should fix this. He should say something, do something.
But if he does—if he actually lets himself get close—he knows there’s no coming back from it.
And that terrifies him.
Punk watches him carefully, waiting for a reaction. When Cody doesn’t speak, he scoffs and takes a step back. “You know what? I don’t even care what your deal is anymore. Just find a way to make it right.” His voice turns sharp again, laced with unspoken warning. “Because if you don’t, I will.”
Cody barely has time to process that before Punk turns on his heel and walks away, leaving him standing there with nothing but his own thoughts—and a gnawing feeling in his gut that he might’ve just lost the one thing that actually mattered.
Watching Y/N fight from backstage was almost torturous for Cody. She plastered on a good smile as she cut her promo, but as soon as the mic was out of her hand, her shoulders dropped. The usual confidence she oozes is gone. Thankfully, that didn’t affect how she did in the ring.
She took down Naomi in a rather grueling match. Some of the hits seemed to do a lot more damage than originally planned. Y/N stumbles backstage, hand covering her temple that’s currently still dripping blood. She may have won, but she definitely got a couple of bumps and bruises to accompany it.
Cody stands further down the hallway as he watches the medics swarm her. She swats most of them away half heartedly, insisting that she’s fine. The first person to rush up to her, to the surprise of no one, was Punk. Cody’s jaw ticked as he watched the older man lift Y/N’s chin with his finger so he could check her wound himself. He knew he was just Y/N’s mentor, the person she relied on more than anything, but seeing how protective he is of her would make anyone suspicious of the true nature of their relationship.
Not long after, Jey and Jimmy are rushing towards her, Roman walking behind them. Solo is out now fighting his match, but if he wasn’t, Cody’s sure he’d be right behind his family in going over to the injured woman. It makes him chuckle when he thinks about the fact that Jimmy’s here with Y/N instead of checking in on his wife who took the brunt of the beat down.
“You doin’ alright Uce?” Jey asks, crouching down in front of her as the paramedics bandage her head. “You got hit pretty hard.”
“I’m fine,” she mumbles, blinking rather slowly. Her eyes look distant as she stares down at her hands. They’re shaking. “Just tired…” Her eyes begin to droop which immediately puts them all on edge.
“Nuh uh,” Jimmy lifts her head up. “Keep those eyes on us ma,” he stops her.
Roman glances at the medics, starting to get slightly worried, “I thought she only had a couple cuts. This seems a lot more serious.”
“It’s possible she could have a concussion,” one of them answers, pulling a light out to check her pupils. “We didn’t bother to check because she insisted it wasn’t a problem, and she walked back here without any assistance.”
His partner nods, “And we unfortunately can’t administer treatment when a patient refuses.”
“She doesn’t refuse,” Roman cuts in indefinitely, shooting Y/N a stern look as she goes to protest. “Do what you need to do.”
Y/N groaned as the paramedics continued checking her over, their hands prodding at the wound on her temple. She was still swaying slightly, her limbs feeling heavier than they should, but she was stubborn as ever. “I told you, I’m fine.”
Punk scoffed, his hand still on her arm to keep her upright. “Yeah? That’s real convincing coming from someone who's about to fall asleep sitting up.”
“I was blinking,” she argued, but even her voice sounded weak.
One of the medics waved a small light in front of her eyes, nodding to himself before looking at the others. “She’s got a mild concussion.”
A ripple of concern went through the group.
“Shit,” Jey muttered, rubbing a hand over his jaw.
Punk didn’t look surprised—just more irritated. “Alright, that’s it. She’s done for the night. Someone get her back to her trailer.”
Y/N frowned, blinking at him. “I don’t need to—”
“Oh, you absolutely do,” Jimmy cut in, already grabbing one of her arms. “C’mon, ma, don’t make us carry you.”
She huffed but barely put up a fight. As soon as she tried to stand on her own, her legs wobbled, and she stumbled straight into Punk’s chest. His hands immediately steadied her, and he shot her a knowing look.
“Yeah. Totally fine,” he deadpanned.
She pouted but didn’t argue as they helped her out of the hallway. Cody stood in the background, arms crossed tightly, jaw clenched. His gaze flickered between Punk’s arm around her shoulder and Jey hovering closer than necessary. It shouldn't bother him, but the longer he watched, the more irritated he felt.
He didn’t even realize his feet were moving until he found himself following after them, staying far enough back that no one really noticed.
Inside the trailer, they settled her onto the couch. She blinked slowly, still a little dazed, as Punk draped a blanket over her legs.
“You’re gonna rest,” he ordered. “No arguments.”
Y/N groaned. “Bossy.”
He smirked. “Damn right.”
After a few more warnings, Roman and Jimmy left. Punk was the last to exit, pointing a finger at Jey before walking out.
“She rests,” he ordered. “No dumb shit.”
Jey smirked, holding his hands up. “Wouldn’t dream of it.”
Cody stood outside, still lingering, though he told himself it wasn’t eavesdropping—just listening.
Inside, Jey crouched beside Y/N, voice softer now. “Damn, sweetheart, you really scared us out there.”
Y/N let out a breathy chuckle, her head lolling slightly against the couch. “Didn’t mean to.”
Jey shook his head, smirking. “Yeah, yeah. Always gotta be the toughest one in the room, huh?” He reached out and lightly flicked her forehead, right where the bandage sat.
She scrunched her nose. “Ow.”
“Good,” he grinned. “That’s for making me worry.” Then, to Cody’s absolute horror, he leaned in and pressed a quick, lingering kiss to her forehead. “Get some rest, Uce.”
Y/N barely reacted, too tired to process it. But Cody? His blood boiled.
Jey stood, checking to make sure she was comfortable before slipping out quietly. He didn’t even notice Cody standing in the shadows as he walked away.
Cody wasn’t sure what exactly made him do it, but the second Jey was gone, he stepped forward and pushed open the trailer door without knocking.
Y/N, still half out of it, blinked at him in confusion. “Uh—?”
He shut the door behind him, arms crossed. “So, you and Jey, huh?”
She frowned. “What?”
Cody scoffed. “Didn’t take you long.”
Y/N sat up slightly, still processing. “What the hell are you talking about?”
He gestured vaguely. “You and him. All close and sweet back there. Then him kissing you on the damn forehead?” He let out a dry chuckle, shaking his head. “That’s real cute.”
She blinked, still struggling to follow his train of thought. “Are you—?” She cut herself off, tilting her head. “Wait. Are you jealous?”
His scoff came too quickly. “I’m not jealous.”
Y/N studied him, her exhaustion making her blunt. “You totally are.”
Cody’s jaw ticked. “I just think it’s interesting how you walked out on me at the gym, but now you’re all cozy with him.”
Her lips parted slightly, realization hitting her. “Oh my God.” She let out a soft laugh, shaking her head. “You’re overthinking so hard right now.”
His scowl deepened. “I am not—”
“It’s not fun, is it?” she interrupted, tilting her head. “Feeling insecure?”
Cody’s glare intensified, but he had no comeback. Because the truth was, she was right. He was feeling this gnawing pressure on his chest anytime he saw someone else with her. He originally thought it was because of her, but he slowly realized he wanted to be the one to be checking in on her, to be helping her, not watching from the sidelines as someone else did.
Cody hesitated for a moment before letting out a sharp breath and stepping further into the trailer. He rubbed the back of his neck before finally lowering himself onto the couch beside her, though he kept a slight distance between them. His knee bounced as he rested his forearms on his thighs, fingers laced together tightly.
Y/N watched him carefully, still trying to wrap her head around what was happening. “So… did you just barge in here to accuse me of being with Jey, or…?”
Cody huffed, running a hand down his face. “I’m not accusing you.”
She raised an eyebrow. “No? Because it sure as hell felt like you were.”
Cody clenched his jaw. “I just—” He exhaled sharply, shaking his head. “I see things, Y/N. And I’m not blind. Jey’s always looking out for you, always right there when you need him. You’re comfortable around him, and he sure as hell doesn’t seem to mind it.”
Y/N blinked before letting out a soft chuckle, shaking her head. “And you’re really trying to tell me you’re not jealous.”
His head snapped toward her, glaring. “I didn’t say that.”
“You didn’t have to,” she countered, smirking slightly. “It’s written all over you.”
Cody scoffed, shaking his head as he leaned back against the couch, arms crossing over his chest. “You don’t get it.”
Y/N tilted her head, still watching him closely. “Then help me. Make me get it.”
Cody let out a dry chuckle, but there was no humor behind it. He stared at the ceiling for a moment before shifting his gaze back to her. “I saw you with him, and I just…” He trailed off, his lips pressing into a thin line. “It made me think about us. About what happened between us and how you just left after. And then I see you all close with him, and it—” He cut himself off, shaking his head again.
Y/N studied him, the realization settling in deeper. He was just as insecure about this as she had been.
She let out a breath, glancing down at her hands before speaking. “You know… when you ignored me after that night, I thought maybe I did something wrong.”
Cody’s brow furrowed.
“I thought maybe I wasn’t good enough for you to stick around,” she admitted, voice quieter now. “Like maybe I was just some mistake you regretted.”
Cody’s stomach twisted at her words. “That’s not—” He stopped, exhaling sharply before shifting closer to her. His hand hesitated for a moment before gently covering hers. “That’s not why, Y/N.”
She glanced up at him, eyes searching his.
He sighed, shaking his head. “It wasn’t you,” he repeated. “It was me. I freaked out. I realized how deep a hole I had dig myself, and I panicked. I realized I may have blurred the line between hatred and my actual feelings for you,” he rubs his knuckles, staring at the floor. “Thought if I distanced myself, maybe I could stop the progression of it.” His lips pressed into a tight line. “But that was the dumbest thing I could’ve done.”
Y/N let his words sink in, her expression softening.
She didn’t respond right away—just leaned forward and rested her head against his chest.
Cody stiffened slightly, caught off guard, but he didn’t pull away. Instead, he slowly wrapped his arms around her, holding her tighter than he probably should have.
“Don’t be stupid like that again,” she murmured.
His grip tightened around her waist, a small smile forming on his lips. “I won’t.”

** Double the Love**
Summary: Roman Reigns and his wife Shyla finally welcome their newborn twins.
Pairing: Roman Reigns x Shyla
Warning: Fluffy.
Word count: 772
****
The sun had barely begun to rise, casting a soft golden glow through the windows of the cozy nursery. Roman Reigns stood by the cribs, his heart swelling with joy at the sight of his newborn twins. Shyla, his partner in crime and the love of his life, was still resting comfortably in their bedroom, a well-deserved slumber following a long night of labor.
He gazed down at the two little bundles swaddled snugly in their blankets. One twin, a girl with a tuft of dark hair that mirrored her father’s, grinned in her sleep, while her brother, with a slightly lighter shade, let out a soft coo. Roman couldn’t help but smile; they were perfect.
As if sensing his gaze, Shyla stirred and stretched, her sleepy eyes blinking open to meet his. A warm smile spread across her face when she realized the time. “Good morning, superstar,” she teased, her voice still thick with sleep.
“Good morning, mama,” he replied, stepping closer to the bed. He kissed her forehead gently before looking back at their children. “Can you believe we made those two?”
Shyla chuckled softly, her heart brimming with love. “We sure did. Look at them—they’re incredible.”
He scooped her hand in his, and together, they approached the cribs. Roman leaned down to give each baby a soft kiss, his heart racing with an overwhelming sense of responsibility and love. “They’re so tiny. Do you think they know how much we love them already?” he asked, glancing at Shyla.
“Of course they do,” she said, her voice tender as she reached down to caress their cheeks. “They can feel it. Just like I felt it when you were holding me during labor.”
“Yeah, about that,” he said, his tone turning playful. “You should’ve seen me—like a deer in headlights! I was trying so hard not to panic!”
Shyla laughed, remembering the moment when Roman had clutched her hand, whispering words of encouragement, even as his own nerves showed through. “You did great, babe. You were my rock.”
“And now I’m a dad of twins!” He puffed out his chest with mock bravado, causing Shyla to giggle. “What’s next? Superhero capes?”
“Only if you wear one, too,” she quipped, her eyes sparkling.
Roman laughed, imagining the two of them in matching capes, dashing around the house chasing after their little ones. The thought brought him immense joy, knowing that their family was growing, and each day would bring new adventures.
As the sun climbed higher in the sky, Shyla suggested, “How about we take some pictures? I want to capture this moment forever.”
With a nod, Roman pulled out his phone, setting it up for a quick selfie. They crowded around the cribs, beaming with pride as he snapped the photo. Their smiles were radiant, each glance shared between them filled with the promise of a beautiful future.
“Perfect!” Shyla declared. “Now we just need to figure out names.”
Roman raised an eyebrow, excitement flickering in his eyes. “I like the sound of ‘Rocky’ and ‘Raina.’”
“Very on-brand,” she teased. “But how about we try something unique? Something that tells our story?”
After tossing around ideas, they finally settled on Maeve and Milo. Each name felt right, resonating with the love they shared.
“Welcome to the world, Maeve and Milo,” Roman whispered, his voice filled with emotion. “You’ve got the best parents waiting for you.”
As the day unfolded, they found themselves enveloped in a whirlwind of joy and laughter. Family and friends visited, bringing gifts and sharing stories, and each moment only seemed to strengthen their bond.
Later, as night fell and silence wrapped around their home, Roman and Shyla took turns rocking the twins to sleep. The soft sounds of the nursery echoed through their hearts as they exchanged sleepy smiles.
“Can you believe we did it?” Roman whispered as he settled into the rocking chair beside Shyla.
“Every day with you is a blessing,” she murmured, leaning against him. “And now we have doubled the joy.”
With contentment settling in their hearts, Roman rested his head against hers, reflecting on how their lives had changed. Together, they drifted into the peaceful rhythm of parenthood, knowing that no matter what challenges lay ahead, their love would guide them through it all.
In that small nursery, amid the gentle breaths of their sleeping twins, Roman realized there was nothing more magical than this—double the love, double the laughter, and a lifetime of memories waiting to be made.

CODY RHODES | GALA NIGHT

"Baby!"
"Can you come zip this dress for me?" Giselle called out to her husband as she finished applying her makeup.
"You look beautiful. This is the dress I brought you?" He asked as she turned around to face him.
"Mmh, this is the one you surprised me with in Paris. I can't believe how much my body has filled in so much." She smiled and rubbed her small stomach that was visible in the dress.
"The weight looks good on you babe." He told her before stepping back and allowing her to look into the mirror.
She ran her hands over the smooth material of the emerald green dress that clung to her body. She loved how the bottom of the dress was hemmed to show off her toned legs.
"These the shoes you're wearing? I don’t wanna hear you feet are hurting Giselle." He pointed towards the four inch silver strapped heels that sat on the vanity chest.
"Yeah, and I'm going to be sitting the whole time so that's fine!" She said as he lifted up her dress and placed her foot on his lap.
"Stop! You always wanna get something started!" She lightly pushed his arm as he rubbed up her thighs and back down to her foot.
"It's not my fault you look all good, skin all glistening and smooth." He sucked his teeth and strapped her heels for her.
"Is Gianna dressed? Do they need my help getting her ready?" She asked referring to their personal styling crew.
"They got her babe, but go ahead and help anyways because I know how you are."
“And be careful on those stairs.” He told her.
Slowly walking down the steps Giselle held onto the banister and made her way into the glam room where Gianna was sitting in a mini pink directors style chair getting her toes painted.
"Mommy, you look so pretty! Like a princess!" The girl gasped at her mom making everyone turn towards her.
"Thank you baby. You look pretty too." She leaned down the best she could and kissed her cheek.
Gianna Dream Rhodes was the couples oldest child and she was a literal spilting image of her mom. From her smooth chocolate skin to her huge almond shaped eyes and perfect teeth, she was the mini version of Giselle.
At times Giselle hated how much they were alike because her attitude reminded her too much of her own.She hated scolding her for it because she could almost understand her attitude but wouldn't tolerate the disrespect.
"Are we leaving soon?" She asked.
"Mmh, as soon as your toes dry." Giselle nodded her head and took a seat in one of the empty chairs.
Tonight Cody was receiving an award for all the work he's done for the community and the foundation threw him a huge gala event to celebrate.
Every year during the holidays the couple would do huge food drives and give people in need everything they needed to be satisfied for the upcoming holiday.
There was a variety of things they did for others because it extremely important to give back to the community in their eyes.
"Hi TT!" Gianna yell making Giselle look up from her phone and see Cody’s sister, Tara walking into the room.
"Hey Auntie's girl, you look so pretty." She smiled done at her before making her way over to Giselle.
"Giselle, how are you?"
"I'm doing alright T. You look pretty.” She smiled while looking over her appearance. Her blonde hair was styled in an updo allowing her slender face to be shown. She was dressed in a baby blue dress that came just above her knees and fitted her small curves.
“Thank you sister.”
"Look all my favorites in one room." Cody walked in and placed a kiss on his sisters cheek before picking up Gianna.
"You like my polish daddy?" She asked him.
"Of course, it looks beautiful." He kissed her cheek once more before placing her on the ground.
"Y'all ready to go?"
"Mmh, come on Gigi."
Gianna grabbed her hand as they exited the house and walked down the stairs to the metal gate where the car was waiting for them.
"Thank you." She spoke to chauffeur as he held the door open and allowed Giana to climb inside, her puffy taking up extra space as she sat down.
"Everyone alright back there?" Cody turned to face us from the passenger seat.
"Yup, we're good babe." She nodded.
-
A few hours later
"Y'all look just alike when y'all are tired." Tara said as she looked over at us with a laugh.
"You know we can't hang sis." Giselle laughed before letting out a yawn and rubbing her hand over Gianna's hair.
"Gigi, you tired baby?
It was about ten at night and the family had been at the gala event for a few hours now. Cody gave his speech and also donated a good amount of money to the Children's Foundation which was an organization close to their hearts.
They walked around with Cody after the speech and spoke to a few of their closest friends and family members before Cody mingled around and thanked everyone.
Gigi and Giselle decided to sit down because Giselle’s feet were killing her and Gigi was tired of talking to people she didn't know.
"Mmh." She mumbled tiredly before letting out a yawn, laying her head on her mothers arm again.
"Okay, let's go find daddy." Giselle said as she grabbed her hand. Eventually they found him talking to a few of his friends and people who put the event together.
"What's up G?" Randy, his best friend spoke as they walked over to them.
"Hey Randy, I see you got it going on with this suit." I motioned towards his crisp and perfectly tailored suit.
"You know I gotta be clean at all times. Gianna youre not gonna say hi to me?" He joked while clacking her beads together making her she push his hand playfully.
"Stop it." She whined.
"She's tired." Giselle laughed as she let go of her hand and let her walk over to Cody. If she wasn't sleepy she would be all over Randy because he was her favorite person. She loved her godfather more than anything.
"Daddy." Gianna mumbled and reached her arms out for him to pick her up.
"Y'all okay?" He asked while picking her up like she wanted him to. She was beyond a daddy's girl and could win him over whenever she wanted.
"I mean we're fine but a little tired." Giselle said letting a yawn slip out and he laughed.
"Let me thank these people and we can go." He rubbed his wife’s back before making his way over to the microphone still holding Gianna. Both Giselle and Tara offered to take her but he brushed them off and said it was fine.
"I would just like to thank all of you for coming out and celebrating this achievement with me. It's an honor to be accepting this award for all my hard work." He started off saying.
"Most importantly I would like to thank my beautiful wife for being there every step of the way because none of this would be possible with her." He said and she smiled as everyone clapped their hands.
"Once again thank you everyone for being here but as you can see it's about time for me to go." He pointed towards a sleeping Gianna making some people coo and others laugh as he held his baby girl.
"Help yourselves to the refreshments and enjoy the rest of your night." He spoke before handing someone the microphone. He made sure to speak to Randy before making his way over to his family.
"You did amazing babe." Giselle kissed his lips.
"Thank you baby." He smiled.
