Codemesher
Codemesher - someone for whom linguistically code-meshing* dialects, languages, vernaculars, or more is a large part of their identity.
*Code-meshing is the linguistic understanding that all dialects, languages, vernaculars, etc are equal in value and complexity. Rather than code-switching, which involves switching between languages and such depending on the situation, code-meshing involves weaving together your languages/vernaculars/etc no matter the situation to be able to use your personal voice and find your linguistic identity.
Made a template as well for those who want to make -mesher identities/flags that more specifically represent the dialects, languages, vernaculars, etc you mesh with. An example might be Spanglishmesher - someone for whom linguistically code-meshing Spanish and English is a large part of their identity.

Sims 2 Tools - SceneGraph Plus
SceneGraph Plus
SceneGraph Plus is an application to display and manipulate scene graph (mesh and material) resources.
While it is similar to SimPe's scenegrapher, it has major differences:
it is a standalone application;
it can open and write multiple .package files simultaneously;
it displays all connections between resources, and not just those in the chain starting at the "top-most" resources;
it understands recolours (MMAT/GZPS/XMOL/XTOL), wall/floor coverings (XOBJ), fence (XFNC) and roof (XROF) scenegraph chains;
it understands links from STR# resources (0x0085 Model Names to CRES and 0x0088 Material Names to TXMT);
it supports renaming resources - maintaining the integrity of the chain (both names and TGIR values);
it supports relinking resources - enabling broken chains to be repaired.
A scenegraph chain with multiple issues
The same scenegraph chain after fixing directly within the app
A complex scenegraph chain across multiple files (one for the mesh, one for the recolours and one for the materials.)
TXMT, TXTR and LIFO resources can be viewed.
Lots more details, and an introductory video, on the web page.

I know people have talked about this kinda thing a million times but really I just wanna appreciate the fact that vanilla TS2 shipped with creepypasta levels of weirdness and everyone has just accepted that’s how it is lol

Repository Wizard - Updated
Repository Wizard V2.5
Added _{index}_{age}{gender} into split package names - to cope with creators who don't give their GZPS resources unique names!
Added support for multiple meshes in the same .package file. There is a new drop-down list after the chosen mesh .package file to select the required mesh.
Added support for distributed meshes (eg Maxis meshes, or user meshes that use Maxis GMND/GMDC resources). with the above new drop-down, it is now possible to pick Maxis meshes from the game files (eg Sims06.package)
Fixed a bug when selecting the Downloads folder (and not a sub-folder within it)
Fixed a bug in Standalone mode where it was assumed the required mesh(es) were in the same .package file as the recolours / default replacements.

i would love to make really in-depth house mods for skyrim. like interactive house mods. i remember i tried last year and gave up because every coding and scripting tutorial i could find lost me after about 10 minutes.
