Update up!
Hello everyone. I do hope all of you are having a great time. Now, I know some of those who like this fic, and From Thedas to Westeros, are asking me why I don't upload them more frequently, and the reason is that I feel they are not as popular as the rest. I may be wrong, but it's the reason I put them on a lower list and that the chapters then be shorter.
Sorry to those who like them! I'll try to update them more frequently.
-Also, if you wish to support me with anything, please donate to my Paypal account. It helps me to focus on writing more and putting more effort into updating more frequently!

Excerpt from Chapter 44: La Vie en rose, Side A
“Where are you two from, exactly? I can’t imagine you’re French…”
“My late mother was, actually,” Ophelia said with a mirthless smile, as she reached forth and placed her cup and saucer back upon the table. “She was actually born in Paris herself, as far as I’m aware.”
“…Oh,” Leila said, sensing that she was treading upon some uncomfortable territory. Though, she’d once learned that the proper response to that sort of information was to say, “My condolences.”
“Why?” asked the pale woman with a baffled little snort.
“…Pardon?” Leila asked in return, completely nonplussed.
“Why are you giving your condolences?” Ophelia elaborated, her vacant smile softening slightly at its farthest edges. “She’ll have been dead for exactly six years come two weeks’ time, and believe me, Miss Leila, when I say that we’re all much better off for it.”
Leila wasn’t exactly sure how best to respond to that. She blinked twice, as Ophelia took another sip of her coffee, all in absolute silence. When she put it down, picking up her dessert fork to go back to eating the lemon tart, she said, “As far as where we’re from? As you’ve probably guessed by now, Miss Leila, my wife and I are Britannian. We’ve been travelling incognito, as it were, as a result of that—her with the use of her most common sobriquet, and I with the use of my middle name. We’re aware, of course, of that most unpleasant bit of business with your former president here, but we weren’t sure to what extent we might encounter those who hold some more…outspoken post-war views around here. You understand.”
“I do,” Leila replied, nodding. She took another drink of coffee herself, and another bite of clafoutis, and volunteered, “That’s part of why I’m walking the streets in civilian clothes…to avoid recognition, and the resentment that tends to come along with it…”
“Resentment?” asked Ophelia, tilting her head in a gesture that struck Leila as…oddly avian to look upon.
“Oui, resentment,” Leila confirmed, nodding. “The former president’s rhetoric leaned heavily upon lionising the branch of government I work in at the expense of all the others. Now that the misdeeds of him and his allies have come to light, and have made living unlivable for the lowest in our society, whose labours keep the wheels of civilisation turning, that he sought to make us the face of his glory has now made us into targets of the scorn that the common people would otherwise direct towards him.”
“Ah, you did mention you were in the military,” Ophelia nodded, reaching a hand forward and tapping a black nail upon the table. They were tapering, elegant things, her fingers, each artful and perfectly proportioned, and every bit as pale as she was, which only made the black lace of her fingerless gloves, which Leila noticed now bore patterns of blooming roses worked into them, even more stark in its contrast. She really did look as pretty as a china doll, and it left Leila wondering if she was anywhere near as fragile as she looked—there was something at the periphery of her perception that told her no, no she was not… But whether that meant that she was more durable than she seemed, far tougher, or if she was even more easily shattered than that, Leila could not say. She knew only that Ophelia was not as she seemed, and the open question of it enraptured her. “Yes, that is not a unique turn of circumstance, unfortunately. Incidentally, this is why iconoclasm was doomed from the start: I’ve begun to believe that it is something of an innate human desire, to have symbols to blame for when these things go wrong. In times of hardship, people like to be able to malign what they can see.”
“That seems…pessimistic,” Leila pushed back gently. “Following that line of thinking, you arrive at a form of primitivism. It’s a defeatist attitude that ultimately serves the aim of men like Richtofen, who will for one day proclaim the innate barbarism of man, and then upon the next extol the necessity that the people slavishly devote their lives to the state…”
“Perhaps, but I will offer that the issue with Richtofen’s ideology, and the ideology of men cut from the same cloth, is not and has never been the recognition of mankind’s capacity for barbarity, for cruelty, for the inhumanity inflicted upon their fellow man,” Ophelia argued back, in measured, even tones, the finger that had been tapping upon the tabletop now circling the rim of the coffee cup, twice one way, and once in the opposite direction. “They who reject the power of symbols and idols do so at their own peril, doubly so should it come from some form of irrational faith in mankind’s ability to transcend the evils of their past. We should aspire to ideals, but in that aspiration, it would serve us ill to neglect to contend with reality, and the sense of pragmatism that doing so demands of us, which is so often an ugly one. The heart of the ruin that has been wrought upon your Republic is not a thing of facts, but of the rejection of that self-same ugliness, which is to your direct detriment. It is an easy thing to do, to take all the nuance and complication and ugliness of the world and pare it down into the simplistic, the unambiguous, the blunt and the beautiful, for all that that beauty upon which they fixate is only ever as deep as its skin. It is an easier thing by far to ask the common man to swallow, that you can in fact distil down all that he does not understand and that is the cause of his woes into something that can be known, can be grappled with and defeated, even if that triumph is only an illusion.”
“You do the common man little enough credit, speaking as you do,” said Leila, and she was glad for the distraction afforded by the conversation, because it kept her from ogling the woman before her as much as she might have otherwise. She leaned forward upon the table, planting her sweater-clad elbows upon the top of it to support herself. “And down that road you call ‘pragmatism,’ are there not ends as unsavoury? How many dictators and tyrants, I wonder, have thought of what they have done as a ‘necessary evil’? Does it seem to you as though they are knowingly doing harm as their power corrupts them, that their issue could be as simple as their so-called ‘good intentions’ were never pure from the outset?”
“Certainly not,” Ophelia snorted, an indelicate sound that nonetheless seemed only to play into the aura of absolute poise she radiated, instead of dispelling it. Her middle finger joined the index in circling  the coffee cup, the nail just as flawlessly black as the first, and her flawless skin every bit as immaculately pale. “There are certainly a great many ways in which the mind may twist itself to believe it is the same, even as evidence mounts with regards to the shift it has in fact undergone. But this is what I was speaking of: upon the sight of that which is unpleasant, the mind will do whatever it can to alter itself to alter its perception, to present to itself a more palatable image. Richtofen and his allies, as well as his ideological colleagues, do this work for the common man: their discourse, such as it is, is pre-rationalised, and that lack of necessary effort is attractive to the mind, which is by default an impressionable thing that dislikes its own anguish. It is a meal as easily consumed as it is poisonous, both to the cognition and to the spirit.”
“But we were speaking of dictators and tyrants,” said Leila, frowning at what she would have taken as an attempt to change the subject from anyone else. Why, exactly, she was less inclined to do so now was a mystery to her.
“And is a dictator not mortal?” Ophelia asked, tilting her head in the opposite direction; at the same time, her sequence switched—twice in the opposite direction, once in the initial cycle. “If you slice a tyrant open, would they not bleed? If a despot cannot eat, would they not starve? Take an autocrat and put them in a desert, and tell me that they would not die of thirst. By all meaningful metrics, these dictators and tyrants, as you so aptly called them, are themselves also of the common man, with all the same weaknesses and many of the same essential woes. As one of my teachers once told me, ‘the only pure blood is the blood you spill.’ Man is separated from their fellows by their deeds, for there is ultimately no essential difference between the two, the overreaching king and the beleaguered peasant. It is why systems were invented to try to create that essential difference, why stratification and poverty came to be.”
“So your argument amounts to saying that while they may have initially had good intentions, all that they were forced to do in pursuit of those goals warped their minds?” Leila summarised, and she noted that throughout all of this, though Leila was sitting in a way that emphasised the size of her bust, Ophelia had not once even flicked her eyes down towards them, their burning intensity unerringly locked upon Leila. Akito could not make that claim, and nor had his gaze, no matter how pure, ever been half so heady for her to feel upon her person, as if her very soul was being stripped bare. It was equal parts exhilarating, and disappointing—and in that moment, Leila realised that she’d wanted to make a married woman’s eye wander. She wondered, had she always been this sleazy, and just never had a reason to show it?
“No, Miss Leila. I did not disagree with your proposition of their ‘good intentions’ never being pure from the outset, merely that they are knowingly doing harm as their power corrupts,” said Ophelia, shaking her head with a small, knowing smile. She removed her graceful fingers from the rim of the coffee cup, and tapped the table with both fingers twice in quick succession. “Human cognition is not an unalloyed good, nor has it ever been. I make no excuses for the atrocities of the individuals we’re currently discussing, Miss Leila, nor the systems of hierarchy which insulate them from the adversities they inflict upon those whom they claim to rule. I posit only that it is entirely within the scope of the capabilities of the human mind to hold and become motivated by ‘impure intentions’, as you called them, even without the active knowledge of the person in question. It’s why I, as well as others, have come to believe that power does not corrupt so much as it reveals: indeed, I believe that if you seek to know the truth of a man, to know his most essential nature in full, there are few methods more reliable than endowing him with power that may be abused.”
“So, your stance is that power attracts the corruptible?” Leila asked the pale woman, mimicking her head-tilt ever so slightly.
Ophelia didn’t respond to that immediately; she propped her other elbow up upon the table, showing off the elegant, bare stretch of her slender arm, an expanse of uninterrupted pallor all the way up to the cuff of her fingerless lace glove, and leaned forward across the table, laying her jaw upon her open palm, and in the process bringing their faces closer together. Those tapering fingers with their black nails tapped the side of her face idly, her luscious smile grew sharper and more wicked, the v-neck of her band t-shirt dragged Leila’s attention to the swell of the raven-haired girl’s impressive bust, and it was torn away with a flash of amethyst, as the lenses of her sunglasses dropped just far enough for Ophelia’s eyes to pierce Leila’s soul with their undiluted, unleashed intensity, hypnotic and revealing, a siren and a fury in one. And in a voice that was no different than before, but hit Leila’s ears like temptation itself given aural form, Ophelia said, “I suppose you could say that, in a manner of speaking…”At that moment, Leila Malcal was certain that she had never wanted to kiss a person as disastrously as she did then. Only the glint of silver and glimmering ruby around the Britannian woman’s neck managed to ward her off, and even then, Leila still felt like she needed to feel those black lips against her own more than she needed her next lungful of air. Those eyes, glittering like gemstones, hooded and seductive…

Let me ramble about Lelouch a little, because he just deserves it.
Lelouch, who holds you in the palm of his hand but you also always manage to escape his grasp. Just when he thinks he has you, just when he thinks he can finally rest, you catch him off guard. Your mere existence foils his plans as it does not allow him to do what needs to be done. He sits in his chair, wearing the mask of Zero as he looks far away in the distance. To the untrained eye he looks as though he is scheming, coming up with future plans for the Black Knights to follow. But the way in which he gets startled gives him away, his quiet "Huh?" always making people like Tamaki chuckle and laugh in pure amusement.
"Well well, even a guy like Zero has a soft side!"
They have no idea just how utterly soft their brave leader really is.
Lelouch, who becomes absolute putty in your hands whenever you touch him, even if it was just accidental. He is used to the brutality of battle and blood, something so soft is... Ethereal. Unimaginable. It sets his heart ablaze, forcing him to speed up his plan just a little bit. He just wants you to be safe.
Lelouch, who can't read you at all and that drives him like crazy. He can't play you like the other pieces on his board, you're too precious for that. He is the King and you are the Queen on that board. He started to accidentally protect the Queen in actual chess matches instead of his King, much to the bewilderment of his opponents. In his mind, the King is worthless without the Queen. And in that same way, Lelouch would be nothing without you.

Character Reaction Fanfictions (watching the show/movie or reading the books) -Recs -
One of my favorite tropes in fanfiction is characters being forced to watch/read/react to their own stories. Unfortunately, a good majority of these are crap. Readers looking for these stories often have to dig through a lot of coal to find just one diamond in the rough. Here's a list of the ones I’ve managed to find. Ones that aren’t just a written recreation of their source material.
Is This The Way It Ends Now? by Seastar98 (Death Note) (Finished) This is one of my favorite Death Note fanfictions for a reason. It doesn’t make us watch or read the dialogue or action of the show along with the characters; It assumes we’ve already seen it and focuses on the character’s reactions (what we’re actually here for) and gives more character development to some of its minor characters (Mello, Near, and Matt being clear examples. I was happy about this in particular since my favorite characters in Death Note are Matt and Matsuda). L and Light end up together, but romance is not the focus.
Hunter x Hunter / Assassination Classroom by EternalQuestForGoodFics (Finished) Basically, Killua ends up in the Assassination Classroom world. To go home, he must eventually allow his classmates to watch the HunterxHunter series to learn more about him and where he came from. These two fandoms are a great matchup, and Killua is one of the best characters to end up in the AssClass world. Seeing Killua bond and make a new friend out of Nagisa made it worth reading alone. Their reactions are part 2 of the series.
MHA X Hunter by makifinity (My Hero Academia / Hunter x Hunter) (In progress) This is a good fanfiction where the My Hero Academia characters watch the HunterXHunter anime together instead of their own show. What makes ‘this’ great is how different the two worlds are and the morals that hold them together. I love that the villains are also involved in this viewing room since, in most My Hero reaction fics, the villains are left out of the experience and don’t get to have their own voices and opinions about what is happening on screen.
The Journey of the Unholy Trinity by Arremi (Code Geass) (In progress) If you’ve been in the Code Geass fandom long enough, you’ve probably seen a few of these stories. This one is the longest, most well-written, and most complete I’ve found.
Code Geass: The Blame Game: by AllHailThe99th (Code Geass) (In progress) One thing I like about this Code Geass reaction fic is the author’s obvious and stated hate of the character Suzaku. Suzaku is on my list of most hated characters; I like reading people judging and calling him out constantly on his shit. It’s a very therapeutic read. I recommend it to anyone who felt a similar rage when watching the show.
Appearances by McKinney_Wylis (Marvel / Avengers) (Finished) This story has the Avengers going to Asgard to check on Loki when they find a weird video clip online that scares them into believing Loki may have broken free. It turns out the video clip was from a different universe (our universe), and they suddenly had access to the Marvel movies that were available at that time. They watch the Thor movie and learn things about Loki, unknown before. The watching of Thor actually doesn’t take up the whole fic, but this story still counts. It takes place during the Thor: The Dark World storyline.
In terms of pairings…well, I’ll read any pairing if it’s written well enough. Even a story with Loki and Steve shacking up. I don’t like Steve, but I like how he was written in this fic. The way he and Loki interact is cute enough that I can look past it.
Part of the Journey is the end by hunkahulkaaburningfudge (Marvel / Avengers) This series starts with the characters watching Infinity War and has been going through the continuing movies and TV shows; with great writing and lots of material, this is definitely one of the best. I loved the Wanda and Loki reactions. And the ‘What if?” storylines were hilarious.
Avengers Watch Snippets by Ifihadatardis (Marvel / Avengers) As advertised, the characters watch little snippets of scenes of each other’s lives. Sometimes, these fics are preferable because the characters can learn about each other without going through their entire movies.
All the Days of Our Lives Series by ElrondScribe (Marvel / Avengers) This series has the characters react to Captain America, Iron Man 1, and Iron Man 2. It takes place after Civil War and has them watching the movies in Wakanda. I like the Tony Stark and Pepper focus in these fics, and I thought the writer did well with the other character voices, even for the ones I didn’t like.
School Watches Assassination Classroom by TheSteinsGateFormula (Assassination Classroom) (Finished) This is not just one of the best reaction fanfictions of all time but one of the best, period. The author not only had the original class and teachers watching the show but the entire school (baring the Principal, thank god) yet still managed to keep everyone in character and give everyone a distinctive voice when trying to keep up with so many people.
Attention is given to situations that were mostly glossed over without consequence in the actual show, like the students who came from abusive households. My favorite characters, Nagisa and the younger Asano, get a good amount of attention.
The only negative of this fic is how long it is. Over 700,000 words. It takes some serious reading time, but it’s worth it. Trust me. But once you start, you might not want to stop. Make sure you have the time to dedicate to it.
Lucifer Reacts to Supernatural by SilverWolf7 (Lucifer/Supernatural) As much as I love Supernatural and wish I had more good recs for it, this is one of the best options I can offer in this category. I haven’t seen the show Lucifer yet (I’ve been meaning to), but it didn’t take away from my enjoyment of this fic. Seeing Lucifer’s love of Sam’s character and hearing him rage about many of the things in the show that frustrated me or he thought were inaccurate were giant highlights of this story. Warning: If you’re a Dean fan, you might get defensive about how much Lucifer bashes him (I live for it, but that’s me). One of the other characters that he’s watching it with even rage-quits on him for how much he was dissing her favorite character. If that doesn’t bother you, this might be the fic for you.
Watching You, Watching Me, Watching You by trippedandfellintopurgatory (Supernatural) This is one of the only good Supernatural watching-the-show fics I’ve found. So, of course, it only has 19 chapters, sits at 30,000 words, and has a slow updating schedule.
Blank Disc by TheFallenArchangel (Supernatural) Another of the few good Supernatural watch-the-show fics. This one hasn’t been updated since 2014 and has only seven chapters. Dean and Sam are teenagers, and their father and Bobby watch with them.
The Void by iAnneart (Yugioh: Duel Monster/ Yugioh Abridged) This fanfiction was one that I used to love, and I hate that it still hasn’t been updated and doesn’t look like it ever will be. The characters of Yugioh react to their own abridged series to hilarious effect. This fic was the entire reason I watched the Abridged Series by LittleKuribo - still one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen, and admittedly much better than the actual show. Another fanfiction is more popular and has them watch more episodes. But this fic was much better written with only ten chapters.
Under a Watchful Eye by my secret thoughts (Harry Potter) A story where the Harry Potter characters read the books. It focuses on Harry and Sirius. There is no actual recitation of the books (thank god), but it’s written well enough to tell what they’re reacting to. So far, this is the only reaction fic like this in the Harry Potter fandom I’ve liked. It takes place during their 5th-year, and the other characters are mostly Order of the Phoenix members.
Truth Revealed by Lucifer swift (Full Metal Alchemist) One of the first reaction fanfictions I ever read. It's been reuploaded on fanfiction.net. In this reaction series, the characters are forced to relive the pain they witness themselves having on screen. Any of you who have seen Full Metal Alchemist know that is leading to an agonizing time.
No such thing as a painless lesson by RoseJennison (My Hero Academia) The best My Hero Academia fanfiction that’s actually still going and might eventually catch up with the episodes…maybe. The characters in this are also forced to suffer the pain they see themselves experiencing onscreen. Think about all the times Midoriya breaks himself and imagine him having to feel all that again continuously.
In the Grasp of Schadenfreude by ThoughtSpinner (My Hero Academia) The parents and teachers/heroes watch the show and find out what's been going on with their children and at school. Needless to say, these parents have a lot of thoughts.
Reaction Ritual by PreshByPyre (Naruto) This is only six chapters, but I hope the author returns to it. It’s a good idea, and well-written Naruto reaction fics are rare.
A number of fragments by eliscool (Naruto) Exactly what the title suggests. Instead of watching Naruto episode by episode, the characters are watching random fragments of the show and have to try and put together what’s happening. This occurs when Naruto and the kids are still in the Academy - but before Itachi commits the massacre.
Old stories, new discoveries by Daniablazin (Discontinued) (Miraculous Ladybug) This is my favorite Miraculous Ladybug reaction fiction. Unfortunately, it doesn’t go past the first season. It’s been discontinued because the author said they didn’t like where the show was going. A real shame. The writing on this was amazing, and it had serious potential.
What are our children up to? by o0Lithium0o (Teen Wolf) The parents of Teen Wolf from earlier in the timeline get to see what their children are up to and their future. The kids aren't actually in the room with them. Probably for the best. They are so grounded for the foreseeable future once they all get back.
As Above is Below by kswriter (Shadowhunter Series)The characters of the Shadowhunter series (pretty much all of them) sit down to read the books. This goes by the book canon, not the show canon. I mainly love this series for the Mangus and Alec content. This is the only reaction fic I've seen with these characters.
Reaction: Six of Crows by error_404_gender_not_found (Six of Crows) Characters from Six of Crows and Shadow and Bone reading the Six of Crows books. This ignores the TV show canon.
Honorable Mentions: 1.Watching Hunter x Hunter by catnip_riceball 2.HxH watches Hunter x Hunter by bb_bubblepopb33 3.I Have Regrets, but this Just Might be the Worst of Them Series by by IzuochaRay (My Hero Academia) 4.Cheat code central by orphan_account (My Hero Academia)(Villains react to the show) 5. Mansion Of Time: Watching Season 1 by Perez_K (My Hero Academia) 6. Watching as Hope is Lost by GeorgeFredSlytherin (Code Geass) 7. The Trials and Tribulations of Spider-Man, the People's Hero by ironfidus (Marvel/Spiderman) 8. Glee meets Glee By: babeitscoldoutside (Glee) 9. when the teacup shatters by SolusMormont (Hannibal)

This is my Fem-Version of Lelouch! Tell me what you think!

(This is her just eating)

(This is her as Zero, and her First armour version. I wanted to make seem strange and amateurish, like a bunch of pieces put together. This is her first try wearing it and testing it.)

(This is her current armour. I wanted to make it seems as if she looked more like a robot than a person. Also, why she can be intimidating to fight head-on.)

I'm writing stuff about Dad!Gojo right now... and at this point, Google's algorithm assumes that:
1) I just gave birth,
2) I'm a single parent,
3) I don't know how to hold a newborn baby,
4) I'm wealthy,
5) I'm moving to Tokyo, and
6) I'm in the market for luxury real estate.
Now my real-life social media is flooded with ads for moms and rich people who want to buy houses. 🥴 Gotta love internet cookies.

I think I will take @shittyravencarcosa ‘s open tag as an excuse for presenting myself as a writer by…
Summarizing my WIPs badly
Original work [Historical fiction, set in Italian Renaissance]. Two dead found dead. Except the two dead are a very famous philosopher and a very famous scholar. Unfortunately for everyone, a very famous book dies in a fire.
Original work [Fantasy, written with a friend]. Peter Pan gone steampunk gone very dangerous.
[Code Geass Fanfiction]. People and cities take very long to recover from war, nuclear bombs are bad, having a whole lot of protagonists is good, professor Asplund is going Oppenheimer before Oppenheimer was cool.
[Final Fantasy X Fanfiction, written with a friend]. Braska’s very long pilgrimage gone even longer, gone darker. Gone gay.
[JJBA Fanfiction] A priest is sent to Cairo to hunt a vampire. Unfortunately, the vampire is the priest’s former lover, or better he will be in the future past, after they become lovers in the present. Whatever. The priest caused cosmic inflation.
If you’re interested in any of them, I’m happy to talk about them! Or, if you want to keep the tag going, I will be happy to see YOUR (*points finger*) WIPs!
