"Getting started as an independent professional is challenging, and asking for fair compensation can feel intimidating. The way you make money with art commissions differs from general art sales. The art used for (physical or digital) products is usually a subject of the artist’s choosing. Because more than one person can buy a copy, the price of these items can be fairly low. Conversely, commissioned artwork is a custom piece made for one specific buyer, and the typically higher price reflects that.

Description of AU: “Amphibia crossover with the Riordan books. Commission predates a lot of later Amphibia including Marcy’s journal but the base ideas are far from unsalvageble.

Designs began from the Aquarium art piece and developed from there. Marcy was designed with the idea of taking her black cyber suit and making it less evil and less all encompasing to show this is a Marcy who has discovered new adventures. The wonders she loved in fantasy are real even back home. A new adventure, and one she can still do with her friends.

Sasha also finds herself in a similar but different boat to Marcy. Anne meanwhile came up surprisingly like Hazel, no relation. But she does still have her calamity powers.

I do have ideas for this concept further, in art or writing. This will not be the last one sees of this idea. Hope you all like it as much as I do to see it visualized.“

Bleeding heart is often used as a derogatory term for excessive sympathy, but for these endangered animals, they need our hearts to bleed; more than what we’re giving now.
