Just saw @pillowspace’s absolutely stunning loop/sasasafrin design for their new co-op au and just??? Look at them??? Oh I *adore* them and the entire au so much!

Wanted to try my hand at the design! Idk if they wear pants under the cloak, so you get to see my mess of an attempted airbrush, but I had so much fun with this!

(Unreality:) Hey, has anyone here ever played that co-op game In Stars and Prologue? I need some help. My partner recently got a bug in which they've been stuck on the third floor and neither of us know how to get rid of it. I also think this game wasn't really built well for co-op because the rest of the party seems to only be able to process one Siffrin at a time, even when it's really obvious there's two? Which? Is weird because it's a two player game, why didn't the developer bother to account for two Siffrins???

@chimerical-daydreams with the "It Never Happens" AU Is really good! Not fanfiction but it's nice! Also my new partner so I'm NOT BIASED AT ALL <3.

@pillowspace Both their art and AU ideas are AMAZING And I love seen her stuff! My personal faves are the co-op isat au, and the Audience of Vaugarde au. They're both VERY VERY GOOD!! And honestly all their art is good, just go follow already!!

@traumaboyexo who, while I haven't been keeping up with as much, is the one who started the Carrion AU! I've been writing some fanfics for it and need to continue that. So go check out their stuff!!

I know where Isabeau is. I know where Mirabelle is. I know where Boniface is. / No one else should be in this room, or even in the House for that matter.

So why does everything feel so... muddy when I try to focus on...

...? Wait. No. Siffrin wasn't... No, Siffrin WAS always standing there, but I didn't acknowledge that previously. Why?

Obsessed with your ISAT Co-op AU. But I especially love how since the Siffrins can see the 1P and 2P that means they can both see the giant "LOSER" sign above Failed Star SAAPfrin's head which is so funny to me

The House has the prologue's wine! And since SAAPfrin and ISATfrin are both a split of the "original Siffrin" for co-op... You could say that some aspects go to one Siffrin that the other might lose

I was meant to draw a comic explaining this ages ago and still have not, so I feel like I should mention this before I fail to do so for another month.

In the co-op ISAT AU, the entire reason there's a SAAPfrin and an ISATfrin is because the Universe accidentally dropped the fate of two different endings onto one Siffrin. Instead of one being prioritized over the other, it broke the world and split Siffrin into two different scripts.

It's clear they're led by different scripts because the world splits into two different timelines past the final safe room, leaving the Siffrins separated when fighting the King. As the loops progress, this split in the timeline slowly starts to spread to more and more of the House until the Siffrins must separate at Floor 3.

Then it worsens. In some loops... SAAPfrin's still on Floor 3. Like the co-op timeline is physically rejecting them and restarting them where their timeline should start. Whenever they do manage to successfully push back to before Floor 3, SAAPfrin finds that ISATfrin has no memory of the extra loops SAAPfrin went through. SAAPfrin becomes quieter the longer this progresses, while ISATfrin becomes more worried.

This all means that 1. SAAPfrin goes through more loops than ISATfrin does, and 2. According to the SAAP script, a SAAPfrin must never defeat the King until it'll break them.

Half the reason why SAAPfrin eats the star but ISATfrin does not is because it's obvious which one of them got the winning script.

And the Universe knows a Loop is needed to complete an ISATfrin's script after all!

(The star half fails, but it's close enough. It does its damage.)

LOOP: But if I'm not who you're thinking of when you say that, then you shouldn't bother.

LOOP: It's rude to call someone by somebody else's name, you know~!

+ Bonus // SAAPfrin and Loop would give each other crises back to back.

You'd think that Loop would have the worse relationship with SAAPfrin in this scenario, but I think ISATfrin would NOT be able to let go of the fact that this was a saapfrin, that Loop had the saap script, and him constantly hitting Loop with the saddest eyes like they're seeing someone else entirely would build up the highest wall in that dynamic.
