Not only do you have to use some of the little brain power you have left to search for any words that make sense, but no matter how hard you try, whatever you say will come out sounding wrong, warped, and broken. Maybe they're really patient with you, encouraging you in their language and giving you lots of time to think and struggle but it doesn't really matter, the words just aren't there. And if you can't remember how to say "stop" "it hurts" "please don't" or "slow down", well that's just too bad :(
