hellooo! returning to the cm space after a whopping eleven years has been sweet and terrifying and everything in between. even in my absence (putting fic writing on hold in 2013 and removing my work from ffn entirely in 2020), i thought about the early years of the cm fandom—the community that we built together—with pride, gratitude, and a whole lot of love. there is much to be said about the ecosystem of a fandom, but when it gives, it gives. i would not have survived those years without your support and the connections that we made. so thank you!

if i at all seem familiar . . .

from 2010-2013 i wrote hotchniss fic (kiss the cook, fade to black, if that mockingbird don’t sing, etc.) on ffn as ssaemilyhotchner. i was also very active on twitter as saemilyhotchner (aka criminallymindless) but i purged my old twitter acc when things start going off the rails there and deleted the email address associated with it, so now i have no way of accessing it. #rip. mostly only sad about that bc of my birthday tweet from paget that tags that old account 🥲

i've mostly been at this url since 2011 but other prevs include criminallymindless, queenarwvn & andrea-mcnally.

Hi all, I hope you are thriving tonight! My next fic will be for Aaron (my beloved) and I wanted to let you pick which prompt I wrote for. I'm going to use two of my own prompts from my Summer Vacation Prompt List (linked). I'm excited to write for either of these so that's why I'd love your input. The two choices are Option 1: Character A accidentally picks up Character B's suitcase at the airport. What they find inside is a surprise. Or Option 2: A swimming suit mishap leaves Character A in an awkward position until Character B comes to the rescue. I'll set the poll for 24-hours!

Raised to Love is a dark Max fic! I've been having a lot of fun with it (part of the reason it's taking so long) so hopefully it will be posted in the next few days!

Punk looks visibly relieved on the ECW show after Mania 2008. He looks like a weight has been taken off him. He's at ease on the mic, the smile is finally sincere. He's a good actor so you couldn't tell that he was tense before but the contrast is so striking that you see it retrospectively. He must have thought they'd let him rot in ECW without giving him an opportunity until his release, so receiving the Money in the bank briefcase gave him a confidence boost.

i love this random comparison. yeah sure punk is just like the super cheerful yet awkward girl who used to be manipulated by her mother to be a weapon. i disagree with your take but i can see both fits as a manic pixie dream girl who kills.
