he Budweiser Clydesdales are always a well-rehearsed attraction at any event they attend. Rarely do you see the one-ton horses that pull the signature Budweiser red wagon in a predicament.

On Saturday, San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo attendees watched from the stands of the AT&T Center as the horses became tangled up, causing one of them to collapse.

Since the og ponyta and Rapidash are seemingly based loosely on Persian horses, and the Galar form is a short rounded pony unicorn version of it, logically, if/when GameFreak Creates another, the build of the next Ponyta line form should be based on heavy horses like Clydesdales.

Touring Anheuser-Busch, St. Louis, MO

Earlier this month, I attended the Managing@ ABI seminar held in St. Louis. The experience & learning was more than fulfilling. Our instructor, Chris Luther, who just goes by “Luther,” kept our class engaged. I really liked his teaching style and personal anecdotes, which drew upon his experiences as a collegiate coach, educator and athletic director. I also enjoyed getting to know my fellow classmates.

One of my classmates, Justin, who works at the St. Louis headquarters gave us a tour of this historic brewery, complete with tasting a moments old Bud & visiting the stables [see video above]. From a sommelier’s point of view, the tour was a thrill. It’s commonplace in Europe to visit centuries old sites, producing quality product. It’s even expected. To be at a working, U.S. brewery this old was amazing and a reminder that this country was not built on wine, rum, applejack or even whiskey, it was built on beer, the drink of the American working-class.

It was a fun three days, my first time in STL. The weather was fine and I walked almost everywhere, everyday. Since leaving Portland, I miss getting to know a city by walking. When you live rural, one does a lot of driving. Nice to feel sore in my legs when I got back home.
