#man i don't think i'm going to be very much into of/md after ep8 UNLESS it somehow brings back the Good Izzy but i really doubt that#the more i think about it the more i realize that at least for me this season was Incredibly messy pacing and writing-wise#and you can cut it right halfway and divide it into “episodes that i'm nodding along to and whose ehhhh moments i'm willing to excuse”#and “episodes that have caught too much wind in their sails and are now soaring high above the clouds; writing-wise” and it's#not a compliment. it's like. the show expects the audience to just assume something important happened off-screen; or assume that the#crew's actions are motivated by their feelings from a couple of episodes ago that weren't... really... elaborated on...#and the fans are just like. ohhhhh it's like THIS because THAT happened! it's so clever this show's so well-written and revolutionary!#when it's. not. and it pisses me off lmao#shrimp thoughts#can't believe i'm more into the idol pirates inside my head than actual pirates that have a show. anyway
