Up to this day it still bugs me when people say “Cloud is so emo in Advent Children XD“. Cloud suffered from mako poisoning, lost his hometown, saw Zack and Aerith die in front of him and got infected by Geostigma. He didn't have enough time to grieve during the events of FF7 because of their pursuance of Sephiroth. His grief and guilt in Advent Children was just humane and valid after what he had been through and it shouldn't be ridiculed. If you only perceived him as an "emo character" it means you didn't understand his whole arc.
