Saw this photo on twitter of Halsey and Avan, and decided it was a Need to recreate Avan's shirt for the sims 3. We'll see how far i get in suceeding in making these meshes after watching 4 tutorials and my laptop's cooperation.

#just deleted 20gb mostly from clothes and hair w the mod manager #but like barely any build cc has custom thumbnails so i don't know what anything is it's just blank #i'm tempted to just delete the build folder and start fresh but i would probably regret that

Also angry bc the sims has NOT BEEN FUCKING WORKING and I’ve tried fixing it for days bc I can’t get into CAS after the update. Bc apparently one of my mods is fucking everything up and I’ve tried to go through shit a million times to see what’s causing the crash but I have over 1300 files of mods and cc so it’s literally like finding a needle in a haystack 😐

#and so far it’s not any of the major mods causing it like wicked whims and stuff #and I’ve updated several of my major mods #and I tried removing sliders and stuff that directly affects CAS and it’s not those either?#so atp it’s probably a hair/clothing/makeup/etc. cc item but I have NO IDEA which one bc I have so many #and also I didn’t think that just a little cc item like hair or something could fuck up the whole thing but apparently it is…..#having over a thousand mods is a great idea until there’s a damn game update and then you’re fucked #even if you have things organized into folders it’s still a fucking pain in the ass #and do you even know how many damn times I’ve repaired the game? like too many to count and it does NOTHING #sims 4 #the sims #sims 4 lovestruck

i'm sure no ones shocked to find out i am yet again downloading more sims 3 cc

#yk when you spend hours downloading cc (for any sims game) and then when you actually open the game its like you have 3 things to pick from #and you're like HOWWW???#thats how i was when i opened my sims 3 game and had little to no makeup / contacts / freckles/beauty marks #so i decided to download some more and yet again i've spent an hour just downloading more hairs and clothes #im downloading some lipsticks rn tho #and i downloaded a few contacts and freckles/beauty marks already #i already made a sim the other day but i forgot how difficult uni is in ts3 #so i was kinda thinking about making a sim to play the store world legacy with #i think it'd be fun #i've never played with a single store world b4 because when i was big into ts3 i was like 8-11 #and i didn't know you could download the worlds for free #but now i got them all so!#time to experience them all for the first time :)#and hopefully make a cute new sim too #maybe i'll give them a cat/dog #i haven't made a pet recently either #i love ts3 sm if it keeps running smooth and i manage to get a decent sims style i might never go back to ts4 #i say that now but i probably will #i just think ts3 is 10x more fun once you build up a decent sized cc folder #anyway back to dling cc weeeeeeee

remember that one simblr phase where former maxis match-ish simblrs suddenly started using alpha hair

#i started doing it too because so many of my mutuals did it as well #it looked a little off place in my game because i still used mostly mm clothes and bb cc sjsksksjs #and my mods folder was twice the size it was before because alpha hairs take so much more space than mm hairs #and i had a ton of retextures/recolours of them #i lost all my screenshots from that time it would have been funny to see them 😭#no shade/hate to alpha simblrs at all btw #i love you #it's just funny to think about #💬

Seriously, i may go vanilla for some days when the update cames out. Like an experiment while i wait my mods get updated, ppl make defaults compatible, etc. In the middle time i will explore the cas and build of the pack 🥰
