1. What OTPs in your fandom do you just not get?

I’ve disliked Saphael since before the show aired and I’m still not a fan. I just can’t see it - their personalities are so opposed. And Raphael is such a hard character to get right; I don’t like his characterization in a lot of the Saphael content I’ve seen. 

10. Most disliked arc? Why?

Maia’s arc in S3B. I’ve ranted about it many times, but I’m still bitter. We could’ve watched Maia learn to be a badass alpha, or heal and rebuild after watching her pack’s slaughter, or at least focus on why she chooses to forgive Jordan and see her parents again, but we didn’t. And instead we got infuriating Jordan/Maia scenes.

16. If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?

I’d make Clizzy and Jaia happen. I prefer those relationships to the canon ships, I think the characters would be good for each other, and I’d enjoy the show even more. Very shallow answer 😅

22. Popular character you hate?

I don’t think Helen qualifies as popular and I don’t hate her, but I do hate how they introduced her - it seemed like she only had a problem with heavenly fire being used on innocent citizens but was okay with taking away the powers of the Clave prisoners, which rubbed me the wrong way.

3x13 Reaction / Commentary

I feel the need to point this out. Apparently it's common practice for the Praetor to just, kill off their more troublesome charges. Interesting. But Jordan has a different work ethic which is a) apparently not usual for praetors and b) something at least Nick attributes to his past and not, idk, common decency. Just how savage is the Praetor exactly?? (Also let me add this to the list of things why 3x15 makes no sense at all.)

Okay, so they found another mundane dead by Heidi's hand...... why exactly don't they call the Shadowhunters? Aren't they obliged to? I mean?

True, but it sure as hell is her responsibility how she handles them. But we established already that she has a serious perception problem and always sees herself as the victim.

I mean, prime example, if she could have made that smooth exit through the vent where the werewolves couldn't follow, why didn't she just do that from the start instead of attacking Nick? Because she wants to cause trouble and not just “live her life in peace” as she's pretending to.

More like, he didn't have the guts to face Alec like that. Also does that mean he draped Izzy on the couch like that in that cliché sleeping pose with one hand under the head? At least he took off her boots like a sane person.

Haha it seems Alec isn't the only Lightwood sibling with a shitty sense of humor.

I found it pretty hilarious that Simon, Clary's literally oldest and bestest friend since kindergarten, feels the need to apologize to Izzy for taking up so much time with his Clary-reunion and blocking the path for her. The Clizzy Energy is Strong.

Also, Morningstar.... didn't Val name his dumbass tanker ship in S1/S2 Morningstar? Guy really has it with name repetitions, first Jonathan 1 and 2, now Morningstar Ship and Morningstar Sword... I bet he named all his stuffed teddys Mr Snuffels 1, Mr Snuffels 2, Mr Snuffels 3.....

The way he delivers this line me might've as well said “Please cut out the emotional disgusting bullshit my skin is crawling already from this I can't take any more mushiness PLEASE GO AWAY.” Gotta love Alec.

(Sidenote though: No wonder he got frustrated with the pretentious Shadowhunter Technology, I mean, look at it. There are only runes. Runes may be called runes, but they don't actually make up an alphabet. Why the heck is there a flexibility rune on the screen? It makes no sense.)

This whole scene (and Izzy's lipstick lol) is absolutely perfect. I love everything about it, especially Magnus and especially Izzy. I'd be really surprised if Magnus didn't find a way to get her that weird root thingy anyway, because he surely doesn't buy the “feeling a lot better now” line.

(Edit: Now thinking about it I realized two things, a) she probably didn't take him up on his offer to go to another warlock because she felt like that was unnecessarily rubbing in that he can't do it himself anymore* and b) with that line she probably meant she feels lighter already for sharing what happened and just <3<3<3<3<3)

*The only think that would have made this scene more perfect is if Izzy hadn't skimmed over his magic comment without acknowledging it in any way. Though with this thought in mind, that she rejected his offer to spare his feelings, I find myself placated.

Also I love how Magnus pretends he's going to look for pen and paper when really he's running straight to Alec to tell him all about this (and to prevent a repetition of 2x09 form happening.... and now I made myself sad again).

I mean, I have sympathy for her. But like, she's too smart for me to buy that she genuinely can't see any other course of action. She just does this because it's the least effort for her, not because she's truly clueless what alternatives are there for here (aka not running around, killing mundanes, starting a fight with everyone). She just thrives on chaos.

Also “Wolves don't just attack without cause. Not in New York” ? Seems like all Institute except the NY one do a shit job since supposedly keeping peace between the Downworld factions is part of their responsibility. Yes, I am still salty about 3x15. (Also, if anyone's confused by this weird foreshadowing, I wrote notes for this reaction post while watching 3x13 when it first aired, but only got to finish it now after 3x19 aired and I can't keep my chronology-screwing bitterness to myself while finishing up the post. But mostly these are my thoughts from then.)

Yeah something tells me she's not gonna be totally uninvolved in that.

This and the fact that Russel wants to stop Bat from even leaving the Jade Wolf are the final proofs that all the werewolves actually live at the Jade Wolf and pile up in a giant snuggle pile in the kitchen at night. This is further cemented by the fact that Luke and Maia claim to have flats of their own but we never actually see them. Clearly they're both dirty liars that just wanted to mislead.

Alec Lightwood, best brother of the year. Btw he's been holding that title since birth. I also don't think Alec would ever judge Izzy for her addiction / look at her as if she's weak, so the fact that she thinks that says a lot about how the addiction affected her self-image.

Too bad Alec forgets this for the next few episodes and acts like a total tool in that Clave Investigation Thing, smh.

I also love how nobody questions that Heidi bit that mundane and then chilledly made a phone call at the scene of her Accords-violating crime. How frakking convenient.

But their runes aren't on the same side. Sloppy work. Also, if the illustrator obviouly takes artistic liberties, then the rune missing on the second pic doesn't have to mean anything. Maybe they just forgot to draw it. Then again this isn't even the most flimsy conclusion-making I've wittnessed on this show so I'll let it slide.

......didn't she just break up with him because pack reasons? Where is that not a Shadow World Reason? Please explain. (Also choosing an unflattering screen cap of Simon because he annoys me? Absolutely. I am petty like that.) The easy way Simon accepts their break up really makes me wonder. If Maia hadn't said anything, would he have broken up with her? Since apparently things “changed” and they could “both” “feel” it. Honestly. He literally calls her his girlfriend at the start of the scene as if to draw attention to how ridiculous this is.

You know what, I don't even have the energy to rage about this. Their relationship was so great, they were so supportive of each other, they had great chemistry, great communication, they always stood by each other. And just because Sizzy has to be endgame there were suddenly weird-ass tension between them for no real reason – none that 3A Saia wouldn't have worked through like pros anyway – just so this break up wouldn't come out of absolutely nowhere. It's shit treatment of both their characters and their relationship and I'm just so exasperated with it all. (Also not the way to endear me to Sizzy. But at this point I feel like a broken record.)

Discount? It was free. Which I'm still finding super hard to believe by the way, that a werewolf establishment would just give out free food to vampires who don't even work there. But what do I know, right, I mean it's not like they just mentioned a few minutes ago how werewolves and vampires hate each other? Right?? Hahaha.

Wow. This actually takes the time to highlight that this break up wasn't as amicable as Simon thought. Maybe he thought that they were breaking up for human reasons, but Maia clearly feels she threw her relationship away for the pack and it's hard for her. And Simon's tirade wasn't really encouraging her to let him know that. I really appreciate that detail.

Other things I want to say: 1) I didn't like that Maia just flat out broke up with him. She should have informed him that she was going to step up for the pack and would have to prioritize that over their relationship and then leave it up to him if he wants to put up with that or not. By breaking up she made the choice for him. Her course of action is ic, I'm not critizising that, but from like, a personal stand point I don't like it. 2) Foreshadowing: Since her whole pack gets slaughtered, if that would have been the only reason to break up with Simon she coulda just gotten back together with him lol. Haha sorry I'm trash. I know.

Wow he's really dumb. He knows Heidi's brand of crazy and still he doesn't realize this was a trap. He said himself that Heidi must have done something for the Preator to be after her, and when the Praetor tells him she's been leaving copses left and right he...... takes this as his cue to ally himself with Heidi??? Wtf?????? Does he not believe what Jordan said? Again, he suspected something like that himself and since the Praetor are playing at being the Downworlder Police they wouldn't just make something like that up with no proof. The heck. I don't get you, Boss Vampire Guy.

Also, thumbs down for the Praetor, if they'd just told them their source was Heidi herself (on the phone) this could have been prevented. But, ugh. With how things are I can at least kinda buy that no working communication between vampire clan and Praetor exists.

Still, if the Praetor wants to be accepted as some kind of Shadow World Institution they should really work on their manners.

That activating the healing rune should be the first thing you do? Before lovingly prying information from the dying person?? I mean, if that's not Plot Convenience then I don't know what is. Okay I did her injustice in my trailer reaction since this is a vamp and a legitimate fight situation.

Wow that actually surprised me. But Jordan also dies in the books so, oops. Just didn't think they'd skip the getting together.

WOW that really surprised me. I thought Maia would challenge him and they'd have an epic fight to the death or something. (Also wtf Griffin guy, what's with that creeper face.)

To be honest I find it hard to believe that Maia acts like this. Scared out of her mind, yeah sure. But she acts helpless, and she's never been that. When she got that pipe thing I thought she'd use it as a stake. Using it to block the door is smart, too, but why didn't she get another to have a stake? Her whole posture, uselessly hangig over Jordan screams damsel in distress and I don't like it at all.

Edit: I had certain fears how this plotline would be developed in 3x14 which thankfully didn't come true, but my conflicted opinion on this ending scene remains.

Anyway let’s take a moment and appreciate Maia’s Killer Boots.

BTW watched the 3x14 trailer and just.... what. Why the f would Magnus ask Lorenzo of all people for help? He can't be trusted. As if he wouldn't use that opportunity to break Magnus even further! WTF! Where's Catarina? Oh, let me guess, another Drunk Doctor Conference *epic eyeroll*

“Shit!” Clary hisses as Izzy pours alcohol over the open wound on her side.

This has not been her best day. Certainly not her worst either but that says more about the kind of days she’s gone through lately than it does about this day in particular.

It started out well enough. Her and Izzy getting a mission to check out the rumors about a new clan of vampires encroaching on Raphael’s territory, to make sure the city wasn’t in for a clan war.

And what with Clary having been looking for excuses to spend more time alone with Isabelle these past few weeks, seeing one land in her lap was great.

Getting kidnapped by said clan and relieved of their angelic artifacts was less great. Escaping might have made up for it if a thrown dagger hadn’t cut open her side as she swerved to avoid a direct hit, especially because their steles were still being held by their former kidnappers.

“Sorry,” says Izzy and starts rifling through the first aid kit they found when they came across the rusty fishing boat abandoned on the docks “it needs to be disinfected.”

“I know.” Clary says, her hands clenching around the moth eaten mattress under her.

“Hold on, this is gonna hurt.” Izzy says and Clary grimaces at the sutures and tweezers in Izzy’s hands. “Whoever this place belongs to seems to have used up all the pain meds.”

“Gimme that then.” Clary says, gesturing at the bottle holding the liquid that just scorched like hot acid against her skin.

Izzy takes a sniff of the alcohol and grimaces a bit.

“Your funeral.” Izzy says but hands it over.

“Ha, ha.” Clary says utterly deadpan but finds herself smiling tiredly a bit when Izzy grins at her. Then she takes a swallow of the liquid and almost chokes on her own tongue. “What the hell is this? Pure ethanol?”

“Whisky. And pretty close I think.” Izzy says and puts her fingers on either side of the four inch long gash across the side of Clary’s ribs. Clary swallows down a whimper by gulping down another few mouthfuls and the taste gets so overpowering she feels her tongue dying. It almost distracts her as Izzy puts in the first suture. Almost.

She’s really regretting not going back for those steles.

“Magnus would be horrified.” Clary gasps out as the pain reaches its crescendo and Clary lets go of the mattress to grasp for a more stable connection to keep herself conscious. Being unable to take Izzy’s hand she lands on her shirt and feels the muscles now under her fist contract against the contact.

Izzy’s hands however never waver in their movement.

Clary spends the next five minutes blinking drowsily and observing as Isabelle’s blood covered hands stitch her back together. If it didn’t hurt so much it would almost be nice, she thinks she could stare at Izzy’s hands forever.

Clary wakes up what feels like a minute later, but as she sits up she notices a ratty blanket sliding off her bare shoulders and revealing that a gauze is now covering her wound. The instruments for their small impromptu operation seem to have been packed away too.

She looks around for Izzy and finds her on the other side of the boat, sitting asleep, her back against the wall.

She pulls herself up and with her hand putting pressure against her side stands up. She looks around, thinking. Izzy can’t possibly be comfortable sleeping like that, but Clary doesn’t want to wake her before getting ready an alternate place for her to sleep.

Clary wasn’t the only one who got banged up during their escape, she was just the only one bleeding.

She shivers and looks around for the jacket Izzy helped her pull off her shoulders after they broke onto the boat. The shirt under it needed to be cut away to access the wound and even with the blanket, being in just her bra has left her chilly. The blood loss probably doesn’t help much.

She finds it on the ground by the bed, and sees why as soon as she picks it up. There’s a hole in the side, which wouldn’t really be an issue under the circumstances but its left side is also covered in blood, still wet enough to be gross.

She sighs and drops it back to the floor.

Then she looks back to the bed and grimaces at the same blood covering the mattress. She grimaces again as she bends down to flip it over.

“If you pull those stitches I’m going to kill you.” Izzy’s sleepy voice interrupts her before she can do more than grab it.

“Izzy! You’re awake.” Clary says, turning back around.

“Yeah and you should still be resting.” Says Isabelle, getting up on her feet and immediately proceeding to start trying to massage the presumably painful kinks out of her neck.

“So should you, and I don’t think the wall was really helping you all that much there.” Clary answers with a raised eyebrow, daring Izzy to argue. “So how about you come over and help me flip this over so we can both take advantage of an actual bed.”

“I don’t think that thing really counts as a bed.” Says Izzy but comes over and helps Clary turn it on its clean side. Or at least on the less bloody side.

“Pretty sure it’s still better than the floor.”

“Yes, which is why you’re the one who’s taking it.” Izzy agrees and takes a step away like she’s about to go back to the other side of the boat. “You were stabbed, you need rest.”

“I was grazed,” Clary argues and shoots out her hand to grab Izzy’s “and we can share.”

“I don’t think we’ll both fit,” says Izzy.

Clary looks at the bed and has to admit the size of the mattress doesn’t inspire great confidence in a very comfortable night. They’ll probably have to keep their arms around each other if they don’t want one of them to fall off.

She swallows and thanks all her lucky stars that there’s only one small light-bulb for illumination, because she feels a flush traveling up her chest and rising to her cheeks. Only in lighting this bad could Izzy be unlikely to notice.

“We’ll fit,” Clary says “and you need rest too.”

As Clary predicted she has to keep her arms around Izzy’s chest. They’re both sleeping on their right sides. And at Izzy’s insistence, with Clary’s back being the one facing the wall, both so that she’s less likely to be the one to fall and so that she doesn’t have to sleep on her injury.

But that also means she was the one who was left stressing out over where to put - or not to put - her hands.

In the end Izzy put a stop to Clary’s fidgeting by taking her hand and entwining their fingers.

And now Clary feels little puffs of air tickle against her arm with Izzy’s every breath, raising goosebumps all across the skin.

She doesn’t know when she started falling for Isabelle. It might have been at any point from when they crashed together their foreheads, and one of the hundred little moments they’ve shared since.

But she remembers when she realized she was full on gone for her.

And it shouldn’t even have been that big of a deal. There was a stretch of downtime after their final defeats over Lilith and then Asmodeus, as the demon population of the Shadow World seemed to have went into some kind of hibernation mode.

And bored, Clary spent a lot of time hanging out sketching in the armory while Izzy was busy in her position as Weapons Master. They would inevitably end up talking about nothing and everything while doing their own things.

Clary barely even took notice of how two times out of three she’d end up just sketching Izzy.

Izzy leaning over the table, eyebrows drawn in concentration over a malfunctioning seraph blade. Izzy’s hands as she carefully picked apart a stele for a cleaning. Izzy smiling over her shoulder at Clary as she was telling some amusing story about her brothers when they were growing up.

In a few months her sketchbook was filled with portraits of Isabelle. And one night as she was going through the pictures, looking for her best ones, and absently listening to Izzy humming along to a song on the speakers, the penny finally dropped.

Clary was in love with Isabelle. Had been for a while now. She loved being around her, loved spending hours just talking to her, got excited on the rare recent occasion when there was a mission and it was her and Izzy who were sent out to deal with whatever was going on. It was Izzy she went to when everything got to be too much and she just needed someone to hug her.

She always kept a snack with her in case Izzy’s sugar cravings struck her and made sure to find a quick way to distract her from getting sucked into the black hole of thoughts for their cause.

That revelation was a few weeks old now. The Shadow World was rapidly pulling itself out of its strange down time and demonic activity was picking up to the usual levels again. But Clary still had absolutely no idea what to do.

She knows she should just come out and say it.

Logically she understands everything would work itself out even if Isabelle didn’t feel the same. She knows she wouldn’t lose Izzy over this, whatever the outcome.

And yet the words just wouldn’t come.

The second time Clary wakes must be at least a few hours later because she feels much better rested.

And a lot more parched.

But at least she’s warm. As she opens her eyes and starts taking notice of the placement of all her limbs, she feels another blush coming on with the speed of a train.

She’s wrapped around Izzy like a koala bear. Both arms around Izzy’s stomach, clutching her flush against her. Somehow one of her legs has slid in between Izzy’s. And she can’t exactly extricate herself without waking Isabelle, because with the way they’re currently sleeping the attempt would absolutely push Izzy out of the bed to fall to the ground.

Which means she has to wake her up and deal with the awkwardness.

And of course, she’s still only in her bra.

“Izzy?” Clary whispers. “Wake up!”

“Five more minutes.” Izzy says, clearly still half asleep and voice hoarse.

“You’re going to fall off.” Clary says and involuntarily pulls Izzy even closer.

Izzy hums and starts stretching out, making Clary panic momentarily at the sensation of Izzy’s scantily clad back sliding against Clary’s naked stomach.

“Izzy!” Clary tries again, voice a pitch higher and heart beating rapidly against her rib cage.

That finally seems to wake Izzy up because she too finally freezes in place at their position. Then she starts giggling.

“What?” Clary asks, exasperated.

“Who knew all I had to do to get you into bed was escape some vampires and spend the night in a dirty, old fishing boat while we wait for the sun to rise?” Isabelle answers and short circuits Clary’s brain.

“What?” She says again, blinking rapidly to kick her head back into gear.

“Scoot back a bit.” Izzy says and maneuvers around to face her as soon as Clary does so. “I’ve wanted to make out with you since the moment I met you. And if I’ve been reading you’re signals right I’m pretty sure you’ve finally caught up with me. So…”

And then Izzy falls silent, the look in here eyes belaying the surety in her voice. She looks vulnerable and uncertain and a little bit afraid.

Clary can’t stand to see that expression a moment longer so she leans forward and kisses her.

The kiss is slow and stretched out and absolutely perfect.

Her side is pulsing painfully, she’s pretty sure there’s a bit of blood in her hair and she’s almost thirsty enough to try salt water, yet somehow she doesn’t think she’s ever felt quite as happy as she does right in this moment.

Which of course means the moment gets immediately cut short.

“Izzy, if you made us worry about you guys the entire night to make out with Clary, I’m going to put that in my report to the Clave.” Comes Alec’s voice from the entrance to the little room of the boat they took shelter in.

“Get out, Alec.” Isabelle says not even looking over and leans back to kiss Clary again, despite how Clary had frozen up as soon as she heard Alec start speaking.

“Wait,” Izzy says, seeming to think it over and pulling back again to correct herself “leave your stele and then get out.”

“And water.” Clary croaks out, pretty sure this time Izzy can actually see the blush.

“Right. Stele. Water. Then get out!”

“Here you go.” Izzy straddled the big log, and handed Clary a mug. The redhead sniffed at the content, then made a pleased sound before taking a sip. Apple cider. Izzy found it utterly adorable.

“Every year, I drink it first here. The smell of cinnamon, apples and cloves always reminds me of this night.” Clary closed her eyes, and turned her face towards the fire. They were sitting close enough to feel the warmth, but not enough for it to be unpleasant, even though they both wore warm hoodies and jeans.

Some people were making S’mores and chatting happily, while others gathered around the kegs, or went inside to make more apple cider. A handful of people parted from the party, to chop more wood, in case they would sit there into the early hours of the dawn.

Clary heard the familiar ‘click’, and opened her eyes to look at Izzy. Her phone was still aimed at her, and the brunette hadn’t stopped to take pics. “Iz!” Clary chastised her companion, without any heat behind it. Moreover, the smile she was sporting had an opposite effect on Izzy.

“I’m testing the camera. Look at those pictures.” Izzy handed her phone to Clary, and the girl wiped her hand on her hoodie, before taking it. The photos were truly amazing - focused and bright, even with fire being the only source of light. The redhead could see all the freckles adoring her face, and blushed. She didn’t feel like wearing make-up to such a party “Delete those. I look bad.”

“No.” Izzy took the phone back. “Look at my face.” She raised her chin, and pointed out to a pimple on her jaw. “This place is for being cozy, not looking as if we just left the catwalk in Paris.” She turned on her front camera, and took a selfie. “And now there’s imperfect me as well.” Izzy scrolled through the photos again. “I don’t know why you think you look bad. You have amazing facial features, and no pimples.”

“But the freckles…” Clary started, but stopped after seeing Izzy raise an eyebrow.

“They honestly look gorgeous. I am so jealous of them.”

Clary smiled into her mug, before taking another sip of her drink. “Don’t you have one?” She raised her cider, to show Izzy what she meant.

“No. I recruited Alec to make me hot chocolate with marshmallows. I’ll have some cider later.” She hid her phone in the front pocket of her hoodie, and just kept her hands hidden there. “Maia and Simon went to bring more food. The kitchen already run out of it, but we still had some funds. Honestly, this year the place is swarmed with people. Remember how it had been a few years back?”

“Yes.” Clary remembered that first party well - she had met Maia and Alec there. Which was weird, since she and the Lightwoods had attended the same high school. They had never been close, though, not until college. “Simon spilled his drink all over Maureen and Meliorn. To this day I have no idea how.”

Both girls chuckled at the pleasant memory.

Izzy looked down, and started playing with one of her shoelaces. “I totally made out with Maia that night. But we both decided that we would be better friends anyway.” She kept her gaze fixed on her sneakers.

Clary just sat there, stunned, needing time to process. Izzy. Kissed. A girl? Kissed. Years ago.

“I made it awwwkwaaard.” Izzy muttered under her nose. “I’ll go and see if Alec is done with that hot chocolate.”

Clary reacted quickly - she surged forward to grab Izzy’s arm, and keep her in place. Unfortunately, she had chased after her with the hand that had been holding the mug, and sloshed some onto her white sneakers.

“Shit!” Her eyes widened, seeing the yellow stain. “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.” She put the mug down, and searched through her pockets, frantically, hoping she had a pack of kleenex that could save the situation.

“No, you don’t…” Izzy had started, but Clary cut in.

“Gay. Me. I mean, me - gay.” She gestured between herself and Izzy. “Into women.”

Izzy stared at her, before bursting out laughing. She was so loud, a few people turned around to see what all that noise was about.

“I had no idea you were into girls!” Clary exclaimed, her search for tissues long forgotten.

“Well, I had no idea you were into them, either. You can make it up to me by taking me out for drinks one day.” Izzy sounded confident, as she wiped at the corners of her eyes, but Clary could see the familiar dread that came with asking another girl out. So she puffed out her chest and replied, grinning at the brunette.

“I’d love to take you out on that date.”

The things

Henry wasn’t a member of the MoL, he was a deruned Shadowhunter (left because he wanted to marry a mundane)

He died when John was a kid, before he could tell his son what they were

The whole thing with Azazel never went down so Sam and Dean were raised by both of their parents

Mary ended up teaching John the hunting ways after a demon targeted him for his Nephilim blood (not knowing why they were after him, but understanding that he needed to know how to protect himself from the supernatural)

Spike was turned by Camille, he briefly dated Drusilla (who was a different breed of vampire than his own) before taking off on his own

Spike and Magnus are good friends, they met in the late 1800′s, shortly after Spike was turned

Xander is a warlock

When Spike came to Sunnydale (hunting Drusilla who was leaving a trail of bodies) and met the Scoobies, he figured out Xander’s secret and contacted Magnus to try and help Xander keep his magic in check

While in Sunnydale Magnus was able to secure Angel’s soul permanently (as the “gypsy” curse was actually the doing of a warlock)

During the late 90′s the Winchesters stopped in Sunnydale for a while, and Sam and Dean stayed there (Sam going to Sunnydale High, Dean working a part time job) while their parents went on a dangerous hunt

Sam and Dean became part of the Scooby Gang

Angel never left Sunnydale and he and Buffy ended up staying together

(basically nothing after the end of season 3 of Buffy happened, except that Oz left - to find a pack instead of trying to control the wolf, and Willow meeting and dating Tara)

Faith never went evil, she and Dean hit it off and started hunting together, while Sam stayed in Sunnydale for a while to go to school and assist the Scoobies, but eventually he started hunting with Dean (and Faith) again

Oz ended up in New York and joined the pack that one day Luke would be the alpha of

When Simon was turned Magnus ended up calling Spike to come and help him figure everything out because they were in a way “brothers” due to them sharing a Sire

Sam and Dean were traveling and hunting with Spike and Xander when Magnus called Spike to New York so they ended up there as well and it came out that they were unruned Nephilim

ngl i do feel a bit for lilith. at the end of the day all she wants is to bring her son back. ofc she’s evil af but like i understand her intentions behind it all. she just wants the chance to be a mother. yeah, she doesn’t care about humans or the shadowhunters, the downworlders. she just wants to achieve her own goals and then destroy everyone around her because she has so much fury left from when she was kicked out of eden.

i feel like this season jace is just being used as a puppet all over again.

i wonder why the owl ended up not killing morgan tho

honestly clary is growing on me so much this season. i’ve really been enjoying watching her.

she’s taking responsibility for her actions.

i love how clary is saying jace needs to find a way to fix this. but he isn’t willing to.

luke is just trying to help simon but also trying to care for his pack and it’s not easy for him especially since simon is a vampire and the werewolves didn’t want him there. but tbh it’s better for simon if he’s not there all the time. not saying staying with jordan is the better option but still.

maia going off on him though? i loved seeing that conflict between them because maia knows luke cares about simon and she knows he wouldn’t have kicked him out if it wasn’t for his benefit but she’s also on the side of supporting simon and standing up against bigotry. so i really enjoyed this scene.

i don’t know where her storyline is going and i kinda feel sorry for her because she never asked to be turned but we’ll see where this goes

her obsession with simon is a bit creepy but understandable since he’s her sire and we saw the way simon reacted to camille after being turned.

he keeps beating himself up about jace and not being able to help him and the whole thing with the owl. there’s so much pressure on his shoulders. i just want to hug him :(

but magnus is the best boyfriend of course. always there for alec, ready to help him and tell him it’s going to be okay.

i loved that scene with him and clary because it was so obvious she wanted to tell him about everything but jace asked her not to. which... let’s not get into that now.. but i hope that in the future she’ll tell him and it will be interesting to see how that changes their relationship

alec knows something is wrong with his parabatai and they keep lying to him kdsjfdks 

okay.. how do i even begin with his alec/jace scene because there’s so much that really made me mad about it. especially how he (jace) was going off on alec but later on went to luke to ask for advice??? oh boy

magnus and alec supporting each other? being able to calm each other down? alec thanking magnus for helping him and being there for him? 10/10 would recommend

magnus making sure alec eats and drinks?? DSKJFKSD

You know, next season is probably gonna start with the crew just going about their day, happily enjoying their lives...before Lilith & Seb step in to screw things up. I'm really looking forward to seeing maybe Malec eating breakfast together, Luke chatting with the pack, Maia chilling with Simon, Jace & Clizzy training...idk just a thought 😊
