I was asked about the brushes I use to paint. First, the software I use is ClipStudioPAINT. Then, there are a number of free brushes that I downloaded from ClipStudioASSETS.

As you can see in the screenshot image, I use about five different brushes at the top of this one, as appropriate. I change them according to my grip and mood each time.

What websites do you use for references, if you don't mind my asking? I love your poses, and am trying very hard to get better at drawing!! but I suck so so much at visualizing without a guide :(

I use pose books! Either physical ones I own (Morpho, Figure Drawing for Artists, The Complete Book of Poses for Artists), I also use the ClipStudioAsset store, the picture that come with the 3D model are just as useful as the real thing, and I always use free-to-use ones for reference. If I need a specific angle, then I download the pose. I use QuickPoses.com, Pinterest, Art Station Pose Packs, Gumroad Pose packs, and anything I can get my hands on! I lost my Body-kun and Body-chan though :(

Hello! I love your art! Especially how you color. I heard you use Clip Studio Paint. I got pro recently but I lack experience in digital art. Could you offer some tips? Maybe tell what brushes or drawing tools you use?

Howdy! I do recommend spending some time watching basics/tips n tricks videos on youtube! There are some REALLY good ones out there that can do a better job explaining where everything is~

Also you could go to Picarto and click around until you see an artist using CLIP STUDIO, I’ve done that to self mentor myself on techniques.

When I went from PaintToolSAI to ClipStudioPaint, I took a bit to just mess around with the preset tools, set up personal shortcuts, plus rearrange buttons and panels.

THEN I went over to the ClipStudioAsset HUB, and scrolled through all the custom brushes people were using! This is where I found my most used brushes and effects~

絵を描く方ならご存知かと思いますが、CLIP STUDIOというお絵かきソフトについてです。 こちらのソフトに素材を追加できる機能がありますが、なかなか素晴らしい素材が揃っております…！！ CLIP STUDIOを持っているのに素材はDLしたことない…って方は勿体無いので、ぜひご覧になってみて、気になる素材をDLしてみましょう！ 基本、キャラクターや背景・漫画などのイラストを描く方向けの素材が中心なのですが、中にはデザインにも使用できるのでは！？という素材もたくさんあり、使い用途によっては様々な力を発揮する素材も存在します。
